First, the location of the hotel is good if you can walk, around the hotel you can find all the services, many restaurants, and banks, but you need to walk 5 to ten minutes at least, AlsoTaxis are available all the time, The hotel decoration is the only beautiful thing in this hotel, But absolutely they are not a five-star hotel for those reasons, 1. The staff are in some way rude, unprofessional and seem angry all the time for no particular reason, especially when they cannot understand your simple English, as if your language is your own mistake, and you may be punished for not knowing the Turkish language, 2. I experienced a hard time with the Receptionists and suffer from their treatment and every single time things must go up to a higher level, after some time you will start to have this feeling of being afraid of asking for anything, for example, the concierge doesn't know his duties so I hold my bags and he just walked in front of me, the Maintenance guy, when I complain on AC, asked me just to set in front of its fan or change the hotel, 3. Any order you made on the phone for maintenance, laundry, room service will take a long time , hours sometimes, and more re-calls even a for a simple request like a bottle of water, or maybe ice which many times I requested it and never had it, 5. They lack many things that are common in many hotels ( and this is supposed to be a five-star hotel)such as : 6. There are No tissue boxes in the room, so you need to use toilet paper for your nose or buy your own, 7. There is no iron and iron board like every hotel I have visited in my life, even if you requested for one they say sorry we have laundry services, 8. They shut down the AC in many premises to save electricity like the lobby and the restaurant, my stay was in summer, so in noontime it became unbreathable and the outside become much better than the inside, 9. They reduce the AC performance in the rooms so whatever temperature you put in your room control unit it is useless, 10. The internet is another story, it is almost dead, so if you think you will depend on the hotel internet, then you need to reconsider your options, to give an idea how weak the Wi-Fi internet is, I felt that the whole hotel usage of internet is depending on one mobile hotspot, 11. The TV in the room had few local Turkish channels, there is no single English channel even the free news channels , which makes it just a simple decoration in the room, 12. The breakfast on the first day was good because it is in some way had new options for me, but repeating the same routine every day for two weeks, made it dull and boring with the same dishes, mainly sausages, cheese and eggs, and everything is fried with a lot and a lot of oil, and it is the same every day, for me, breakfast was a bad idea esp. when you know that there are some restaurants around you offer tastier breakfast for half price, 13. The juice they offer is canned one and doesn't taste good, and in-room temperature, the coffee is either Nescafe or tasteless black coffee, the muffins I think they are the one from shelves on supermarkets, 14. if you came after 8:30 AM many things will disappear or become more limited like fruits and bread. 15. they only put watermelons and sometimes melons with a basket of apples that no one touches and it remained the same throughout my two weeks stay, 16. when there is an event in the hotel this means you will experience long lines in the restaurant, also you need to forget about using the elevator, it will take a long time to catch one, esp., that people prefer to ride any elevator going up or down and keep on it until they reach their preferred floor, so lower floors are better options, 17. clear your fridge once you reach there or they will ask for a huge amount of money, and confirm this with email or something, as I asked it to be cleared and then I was billed for things I didn’t use, so be careful with this one, despite my horrible experience, Ankara is A very beautiful CITY, the people, the streets, the markets, the restaurants, the mosques, and even the taxi drivers it was a huge pleasure to me esp. in this time of pandemic and I truly advise everyone to come and visit it, The only black dot in my stay was absolutely THE GREEN PARK HOTEL,

I came to Ankara and i had reservation for 10 days there. When i came on reception, the woman saw I’m not “high class” but “only backpacker” she was such a rude, she didnt even talk to me, just showed me price by calculator ( I mean, serious?), When i asked why should i Pay before they had not explanation. Probably i look to them as a someone who wanna came for holiday to Turkey and just run with out paying…? I felt so much unwelcome there I decided to found another hotel… I hear from my friend I should avoid this place, but price was such a good… now I know why.

Supposed to be 5 stars, it is actually a terrible service, very angry employees, they shut down the air conditioning to save electricity from 6 am to 3 pm despite of 34 degrees inside Better to find even an air bnb than this horrible hotel Run away from it !
