The location was great and our room was warm and quiet but that's it. Unfortunately, Most of the staff and receptionists were rude and disrespectful when we said we did not want to pay an additional fee besides the cost that booking.com showed us. Also, the Internet speed was almost zero even in the lobby. In addition, There was no glass, kettle, garbage can or even tissue at the room. And definitely, I will not stay again there at my other Ankara trips.
The hotel was good, location, cleanness, near to restaurants, the rate was reasonable, the breakfast was good, Turkish tea was testy, you can walk to the mall, taxies all the time waiting in front of the hotel, the bell boy very kind, the outside seating was nice to have a Turkish CHAY tea.
We traveled to ankara by bus in the way of cappadocia and stayed one night in gur kent hotel. The hotel was a little old but everything worked normally. Receptions were very nice people. Breakfast was very good. Hotel located in good place, near to 2 station of metro and the junction of kizilar.
The hotel is located in a very famous street of Ankara. You can go by walking almost everywhere. Clean. All the stuff working at the hotel are very polite and helpfull. When I come Ankara I always stay at this hotel.
The staff (reception) accused us of stealing a freaking TOWEL that we didn’t even have in our hotel room to start with and didn’t just say that in a formal/kind manner instead they were being extremely rude and aggressive towards us. I’m a doctor and I’ve travelled to over 30 countries and I haven’t ever seen more disrespectful staff in my life than in this hotel. The comfort or the food quality of the hotel wasn’t that good either. I don’t recommend.
