The hotel is not very new, but well-kept. Got fluffy, good smelling towels and crisp, clean, white bed linens. Service was also superb! Everybody's willing to assist our needs. Location is also excellent since the hotel is walking distance from restaurants, convenience store, drug store and Ateneo. I will definitely be coming back.

Wedged between adjacent buildings, most rooms in this hotel are windowless. The rooms at the front overlook a very busy road whilst the rooms at the rear overlook what is currently a noisy construction site. Your preference.

My room was small, stuffy, windowless and had a tiny single bed. The wifi worked fine (although some colleagues could not get wifi in their rooms). Shower and toilet worked ok but the shower had drainage problems.

Service is excellent from the very friendly owners and staff.

Food: Strangely, the hotel manages to provide an extensive, very good lunch menu, whilst disappointing at breakfast. So, go out for breakfast, have lunch back at the hotel. It really is very good and cheap. A bubble tea shop right at the front of the hotel provides good snacks and great drinks. There are take-away stores like KFC nearby plus a vegetarian take-out round the corner to the left of the hotel.

Some of the restaurants have armed guards stationed at the door, as does the hotel. Is this indicative of a neighbourhood riddled with violent crime, a city riddled with crime, or a paranoid mind-set? Who knows. Anyhow, I would not want to be a mugger here, you'd get shot in an instant.

Not a bad hotel, if you can get a room cheap and don't mind basic conditions. Come for the lunch. Stay for the evening cocktails. They were very refreshing.

I needed a place to stay overnight along Katipunan for a race inside Ateneo, and found Oracle Residences as one of my options. It was just across the school so I had to just walk until I reach the overpass to Gate 2.5. The staff was very accommodating, the room had just the right size and amenities, and most things I need were just within walking distance. The price is quite affordable too. I would definitely be back here in case I need to go somewhere in QC again.

Despite being a suite, I felt like I was using a substandard stand room. Upon checking in, the front desk didn't find my reservation. I had to show them their confirmation email. The keycard didn't work in the elevator nor the room. The password given for the WiFi/internet didn't work. When I finally got in, the internet speed was about 1/2 MBPS. That's much slower than the 20 MBPS I was told when inquiring before making a reservation. (Fortunately, my phone's 20MBPS allowed me to do some work.)

The suite had no windows with a view. It's only two windows were to what looked like maintenance conduits.

The one bedroom suite has a room with living/dining/kitchen areas, and a much smaller room with a bed and desk. The bedroom's width is about a foot wider than the width of the queen sized bed. The desk has no light.

The suite comes with a bottle with drinking water, two thin bath towels, one face towel, two bars of soap, two toothbrushes, two small shampoo containers and a roll of toilet paper. There is no safe, no coffee, no minibar, laundry bags, or other similar items that you'd find in a hotel.

The hotel staff was very friendly. tried to help, but scarce. But the front desk seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests that were also checking in when I was. So could hardly attend to the problems I initially encountered.

Prior to our check in, we were told to fill-up the owwa/hotel forms including our Religion to note our meal preference. On Saturday lunch, they served as the Meal No. 4. I informed the Management right away, and replied that the kitchen will make up for it on dinner time. The next day, (Sunday morning) they served us Silog Meal the Meal No. 6 with the same Meat that I’m not eating. This really made me sick. I just hope that the management including their staffs must consider and be particular with the guest’s meal preferences and to always include this information when giving instructions before letting them enter their room. The management must be alerted with this, because they are serving guests with various religious beliefs. I hope that other guests will not experience this in the future.

From being charged TRIPLE the cab fare from the airport in Manila (ooo look, rich white American) to the stay itself, metro Manila is best left alone because it is as bad as NYC and Chicago. Everyone will charge you many times over because you are a foreigner. The Oracle was no exception.

I paid for my booking online, and after having my wallet raped by a cab driver, got here without any further problems.
The room is less than half of what it should be for the price. The water is either ice cold or burning in the shower with moderate to low pressure.

My fiance and I rather messed up a set of sheets and I was charged nearly $100 for a cheap $10 set of sheets...but they claim it was their discount. (yeah, right).

I ordered breakfast once...only once. The omelette was half raw and ice cold. The pancakes were not cooked through and also left cold.

The free wi-fi is only in your room and usually only barely registers before it shuts down again. It was finally fixed, but it has nowhere near the speed and stability of internet in other hotels. It suffices, barely.

When asking the front desk for anything, the return service was extremely fast. This is perhaps the only thing I liked about my experience there. I had to hurreidly ask for an iron and board. It was there in less than 10 minutes.

Overall, spend a little more and just go to a better hotel, but if you're looking for a cheap, no thrills, no frills place, then this might work for you.

We book standard room. And i can say that i can have better room in other hotel in other country with that price. If we have not get a contract rate from the univ we took the training program, maybe we have to pay more. Despite all, the location is good. Near all the famous franchise restaurants

As Oracle is along Katipunan, nothing beats it in terms of location. The general area has three large groceries stores (ShoppersVille, Save More, and Rustans), two 24 hour mini-marts (7-11 and MiniStop), and dozens and dozens of restaurants all along and behind the street.

Security is pretty good in the area as well, with most establishments touting armed guards. In addition, it's a student area so not much crime except for petty theft. Just be wary of the street children who get too close.

The room we had at Oracle was quite small: one double bed, one bar fridge (no mini bar), tv, closet, and small stool; the bathroom had a shower. No space to place a large suitcase without it getting in the way. And we got one of those rooms without a window which made the place rather stuffy. Okay for business trips to ADMU or UP or the general area, I suppose, but not for a relaxing vacation.

The price was too much for the size of the room and the amenities offered. Booked it for proximity to a wedding venue we were attending. The room we were in was tiny, hardly any room for our luggage. No windows; not good if you're claustrophobic. The saving grace was that the room was clean and probably recently refurbished; the staff was also very polite and welcoming (as is customary of Filipino tradition).
