City Centre
No district of Kyoto is quite as representative of its blended nature as the City Center. By day, the covered shopping arcades along Kawaramachi and Shijo Street bring deal hunters and fashionistas out in droves to peruse the clothing, accessories, gifts, and home goods offerings. When it grows dark, the City Center is a hip spot for nightlife, alive with bars and clubs. A trendy culinary scene and an abundance of local watering holes give the Center its youthful vibrancy. In contrast, the quieter areas of the City Center seem a world away, shielded from noise by the foliage of the public gardens and zen spaces surrounding the area's shrines, castles, and the Imperial Palace. These ancient and sacred spots are seamlessly folded into the scenery, providing a respite from the energy of the city, but close enough to put you directly back onto the pulse of the city when you're ready.

Quiet and calm is not available during the day. Imagine having your teeth drilled, all day and hours on end. There is a lovely sign in the lobby apologizing for the noise. Otherwise, great service, breakfast is great, and staff is attentive. Room is large, bathroom is nice,

This one of my favorite Starwood (now Bonvoy) hotels in the world. The staff is gracious beyond description. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. If you are fortunate to have status affording you access to the executive club, you will enjoy a delicious freshly cooked and

Tried to book this hotel (we have stayed before) & as a gold Marriott member expected to be able to use points. Not so fast. No available dates when we wanted to travel. Huh, maybe that is a busy time. No. There are zero available rooms in 2019 & 2020. So either this is the

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. As for the room reservations by points, we are very sorry that we cannot acccept the reservation. Since there are no standard rooms at this moment because of renovations,it seems that we couldn't accept a reservation. However, we deeply sorry that we couldn't explain this situaion because of the lack of our English skills. We will ask the Marriott about this situation to assist you to make a reservation when you call us. We very much look forward to having the opportunity to welcome you.

I spent short weekend here, and everything was amazing. The service was impeccable, so much so that they called our room and held our cab when our morning alarm didn't go off on the day of our departure! They were more than happy to help with directions and recommendations for

How will current renovation affect my existing reservation for a standard room?
Suggest you can tell front desk when booking a reservation that u would like a renovated room and being away from the floors that are undergoing renovations.

Go to Marriott. com and navigate to Westin Miyako from there. Marriott and Starwood are now one firm. So Marriott. com is the global website.
