We had a great ten-night stay here! Breakfast was amazing, definitely a highlight. The staff were so kind and helpful despite our limited Japanese language skills. And the free beverages in the afternoon/evening were much appreciated after sightseeing all day.

The room was very comfortable with good A/C. Clothing storage space was quite limited, but we made it work. The room is somewhat small but luggage can be stowed under the bed to free up space.

If you do laundry there is not much space to hang anything to dry, so it may be best to wash things that can go into the dryer after.

Thank you to all the staff for helping us have a wonderful stay in Kyoto!

I used this hotel to support Koshien and for a trip to Kyoto.
The service of being able to leave my luggage before check-in was very helpful.
Check-in was smooth and the bed was soft and comfortable.
I was also impressed by the amazing service from the staff. Thanks to them, I was able to have a very comfortable trip.
They took care of me in many ways. Thank you very much.
Next time I'm in the Kansai area, I'd definitely like to stay at Vessel Hotel.
Next time, I'd like to stay with my family.

Really good location, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good. Room on the small size but this is normal in Japan. Staff really helpful in sorting out forwarding luggage to next location

Location wise, it was really easy to get off the Shinkansen and reaching the hotel in 3 mins walk. Also in the area two malls, in one you have big supermarket to buy whatever you need.
I was also clean (even though you had to fill in a form if and when you want your room cleaned. Towels were provided daily).
unfortunately, I found the hotel very uncomfortable. I really didn't like the fact that you get one pillow, one towel as if I haven't paid for a full service hotel.
Breakfast was suitable mostly for the Asian crowd, with very few western options. I ended up buying food at the Lawson or Supermarket near by.
The room itself was small and even the chairs in the room had no back so even they were uncomfortable. I will not stay here again.

Modern hotel and very complete breakfast. Close to the station.

Despite everything, a few points need to be reviewed:
- The organization of toilets, showers and sinks is very impractical. Nothing to put things down when taking the shower for example, not even the possibility of hanging up a bath towel.
- The cleaning is poorly done (no more suspicious marks on the toilet door for example).

This was my second time staying here, and the breakfast service was not good at all. I have no complaints about the food itself, but the food is not replenished at all. It was a weekday stay, and it was after 8:30, so it was a workload that one person should be able to handle. The reason they were not able to operate it was because they did not observe the customers' movements carefully. Also, about two staff members came down to the front desk, but the coffee next to the front desk was empty, but they did not notice, or perhaps because they were in a different department. The bashing is still going on and it is embarrassing. The food itself is not bad, so the service is very disappointing.

The bed is as stiff as a prison mattress, and the pillows are as hard as rocks, in which you only get one. We were woken up at 22:30 and told we had to change rooms due to a mistake, after we had the room for 3ish hours. They refused to sell coffee at 09:30 for no other reason then "we can't". Terrible location for anything other than the Kyoto Train Station.

Good budget hotel. Stayed a night just for sleeping. Nothing expected special to the hotel, but it was a nice experience.

Pros:
Great access. Just a few minutes away from Kyoto station and a convenience store.
Great noise isolation (or less guests?).
Express checkout.

Cons:
Price (A bit pricey from average but we know it was because we booked the hotel at the day of NYE.)

Great stay at this hotel. Location is right by the train station, so very convenient, but not at all noisy. The staff were lovely, and the place was much more spacious than any of our accommodation in Tokyo. The rooms were bigger, the reception was bigger - just bright and big in general.
Loved the heated mirror so it didn't fog up while showering!
Amenities in the hotel were great - a laundry was available, breakfast, umbrellas for when it rained.
Overall, would stay again, and would recommend.

The hotel is close to the central station, which makes arrival and departure easier. Reception and service ok. The room is very small but clean. The bathroom
Idem. We didn't try breakfast. Easy access to public transport. They stored our luggage, which was a great help. There is a family smart nearby.
