The hotel is only a oneminute walk from Hankyu Shijo Omiya station, Randen Omiya station, and ten minutes by taxi from Kyoto staion. There are train stations and bus stops nearby, so it is easy to go sightseeing, eating out and shopping. You can get to Arashiyama that is famous for Bamboo forest and Togetsukyo-Bridge by Randen Omiya station. It is ten minutes' walk to Mibudera-Temple that assosiate with the Shinsengumi (the new squad of Samurai), and to the Nijo Castle that is the world heritage if you walk a little more. We selected a good quality bed and amenities such us towels and nightgowns to offer a comfortable stay for all guests. The bed named ""Maro"" is the original brand that was codeveloped with Simmons. You can experience such a comfortable sleep only in Hotel M's Plus Shijo Omiya. Shampoo, hair rinse and body wash are series of ""DHC olive gold""and these are popular for refreshing smell. Several types of tasty and freshly baked breads are offerd for free every morning. Good break fast gives you energy for a biginning of the day.

City Centre
No district of Kyoto is quite as representative of its blended nature as the City Center. By day, the covered shopping arcades along Kawaramachi and Shijo Street bring deal hunters and fashionistas out in droves to peruse the clothing, accessories, gifts, and home goods offerings. When it grows dark, the City Center is a hip spot for nightlife, alive with bars and clubs. A trendy culinary scene and an abundance of local watering holes give the Center its youthful vibrancy. In contrast, the quieter areas of the City Center seem a world away, shielded from noise by the foliage of the public gardens and zen spaces surrounding the area's shrines, castles, and the Imperial Palace. These ancient and sacred spots are seamlessly folded into the scenery, providing a respite from the energy of the city, but close enough to put you directly back onto the pulse of the city when you're ready.

For a small price including a breakfast - is a steal. For breakfast there are different types of coffee, tea savory and sweet pasties-quite a lot to choose from. Apple and orange juice and milk in the individual packs. Nice comfy sleepers and 2 piece pijamas, all the other

I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of Jan 2019. Very impressed with my stay. The room was quite spacious with a double bed, tea/coffee making facilities, small fridge etc. I'd emailed beforehand asking for a quiet room and they responded promptly stating they would, if they

The room was very very small, even thou we knew we booked economy, there was really no space to open two suitcases at the same time. Also the bathroom looked a bit older and had weird smell, but maybe it is just my sensitive nose. Stuff was helpfull, beakfast was ok.

Hi, if you were to walk to the hotel it would be about 25/30 minutes, but there is a subway station 5minutes from hotel with a rail link to the bamboo forest across the road. If you download the Hyperdia app to your phone you can access all rail links and times to anywhere in Japan, also hire a roaming 4g WiFi unit as this will give you access goggle maps and all info in English as you travel, Y mobile is one that I used and you can get them in the airport and return there when you leave, which will give all the information you will need. Have a great trip.
