I must say that every time I take out my time to pen down my thoughts for the stay in your premises, my eyes always sparkle with joy and I get lost in the thoughts of my time spent there. It is with this very thought I write to you about being fortunate to have had such a wonderful experience yet again at Novotel Moscow City. You have always given me this experience to talk about, write about and share so that others also come to know how amazing it is to be in this surreal property. I would also like to mention here that each time we have come to you; you have not only welcomed us with open arms but have also not failed to surprise us with small gestures that has taken over our mind body and soul. Speaking of Anna Bakumenko the Quality Manager, I feel it was really very fortunate of me to have come in contact with you, because normally I wouldn’t mind putting up in any of the similar rated Hotel in Moscow City, but this bond that we share now has a special charm and attraction that always wants me to first seek availability at your end and then check for alternates. And Anna, like a keeper, you have always taken us into your serene yet magical world like a wizard and never let us wander here and there. I was fortunate enough to get in touch with Marina, The Deputy GM and was overwhelmed by the enigmatic personality and zeal towards client relations. I wouldn’t be out of place here to mention that there were some issue in terms of service and quality of service but she never hesitated in acknowledging them and providing resolution / redressal the same day. I mean it takes a lot of courage to admit to ones shortcomings and even more to overcome it at such a short notice. I have utmost respect and regards for such diligence towards customer satisfaction and relations. Marina, I really don’t have words to express my gratitude for whatever you have done for us, but I can say here that the bond of trust and respect that has now been built is beyond comparison. I would so like to say the same for Duty Manager Anastasia from reception who always makes sure that our stay is in most comfortable ways as possible. I will definitely let you know before my next arrival as one of the many things that excites me coming back to Moscow and Moscow City are the thoughts and feels about this place!…
If you have a conference at the Expo Centre, stay at Novotel - easy 5 min walk. Next to a big mall and located in the business centre of Moscow. Spacious rooms, choose city view - a must, otherwise the other side you are closed-in and look direct into offices. Not much staff, but somehow it works - reception very friendly. On my last day, two reception ladies knew that I still had to wait an hour for my taxi - that I ordered through the hotel to DMO airport (1 hour by bmw 5 series - 4000 rubles) and they offered me out of nothing a drink on the house. Small gesture, but amazing last impression!! Metro opposite the hotel, takes you around 40 min to reach Red Square - only 57 rubles per way, very convenient. 3rd floor they have tiny gym, it is ok, not great - but good sauna and steam. Improvement? Maybe availability of English Newspaper? Thank you team for a nice stay in Moscow. …
It is rare that a property can live up to such high expectations you have from the moment after booking all the way throughout the end of the stay. It's very difficult to find anything original to say about this wonderful, wonderful hotel other than that it is probably one of the the best hotel in the world. Every single aspect of our stay here was simply flawless. Every single contact we had with every single member of staff was nothing short of charming and professional. Dining was totally world class and our suite was breathtakingly beautiful. There was absolutely nothing more we could ask and to find our exceedingly high expectations once again was a delightful surprise and I would like to express my deepest gratitude towards Anna Bakumenko ( Quality Manager ) for her remarkably kind attitude !…
hotel location and accomodation was really good. whilst did not have meals, the standard of cleaning and service was up there with the best I have experienced. Moscow itself is a great city, the Red Square was simply beautfiul and some of the historic metro stations are worth the trip in itself.. The mayor has banned advertising on the walls, which makes for a more authentic look.
Moscow city is only twenty plus years old with a subterranean mall beneath it. The hotel sits on top of it. Walk to Red square. The beds are not the greatest but passable. Service very good and hotel food and bar average. I’d recommend it for the price.
