This place has decent economy rooms and very well located with 5 mins walk to a street with plenty of restaurants and nightlife. All the main areas of interest are easily accessible. The staff are helpful and I recommend this hotel for an economical stay in moscow.
Noisy, noisy hotel. No one helped with my luggage. Breakfast barely worth mentioning. Rooms are small and for the prices they charge, no amenities. One good thing, location is central. That is why am giving a star 1 *
This hotel gets it four stars for location, and clean functional rooms. Don’t expect luxury, as the Troyka is definitely a very basic hotel to stay in. My room was on the smaller side, but was a comfortable stay. The Pate & Co cafe is a nice place to get breakfast too.
The hotel also owns a bar just above the rooms. The music is VERY LOUD until at least midnight- walls are shaking- just don n't expect sleeping there. Nobody helps on the hotel, incredible, worst nights ever
No nonsense simple rooms with modern conveniences and assertive staff. Clean and economical in central area does the job perfectly, no complaint at all about this property. Quick walk over the bridge puts you at Red Square and the center of the action.
"Prepare to walk down a long corridor, with steps, for a large, quiet room"
"Ask for room 35 - beautiful room with a view of the river and St Basil Cathedral."
"Avoid 34 so much noise from the night club until the early morning hours was terrible!! Great location "
"Avoid room number 1 and 2."
