PROS - 1. Good location, easily accessible thru jeepney, trycycle or taxi. 2. Has a mall (Lopue's East) which have restaurants, a grocery, stores and ATMs. 3. Very cheap price granting its accessibility and location 4. Very strong wifi and its free 5. Room temperature is adequate and cable TV is clear.
CONS - 1. No CCTV cameras in public areas. 2. No security guards in place at the entrance and other public areas 3. You have to surrender your room keys when you are going out (totally acceptable, but you leave it in a small basket at reception together with other room keys and you just pick it up when you get back. Anybody can easily get your key since it is just left at the unmanned desk). 4. Dirty bathroom. It seems there is no effort in cleaning the bathroom but the bedroom area is clean. 5. Smell of rust in the water coming out of the faucet and shower. 6. When you flush the toilet, the water in the toilet is color yellow instead of white. 7. The beds creak and make sounds when you move. 8. The bathroom drainage does not drain properly. Floor is not aligned so the water floods the whole bathroom. 9. The front desk telephone ringer is so loud that it can be heard in the inner rooms when it rings.
I would still stay in this property given its price and location. The issues I have mentioned such as cleanliness and security can easily be addressed. The water issue must be addressed immediately since the receptionist said that it is because they filter the water. Replace the filter if that really is the problem.

Been there for two nights and we'll say the price is reasonable. Also, the location is good and accessible.
However, for a standard room they do not include cable TV channels and the bathroom is not clean. The water is yellowish and you will smell rust from the faucet. The water heater also not working and the air condition unit is above average when it comes to thermostat.
I totally agree with the previous review that the key will be just left on the unmanned lobby if you will leave outside and the staff is NOT accommodating at all.
But I guess, I just have the service what I paid for. Will try to check some other hotels but definitely not coming back to Eastway Inn.

Value for money, Eastway Inn is about the kind of place you're looking for when you are on a short trip in Bacolod that needs mobility and ease. The location is excellent, just next to Lopue's East shopping area, and about the mid point of traffic to all directions of the city. A few steps outside and you're at the shops, fastfood stalls, supermarket across the street, drug stores, and public transportation to various directions. They would rate low on cleanliness and facilities. There were issues in the bathroom set up and utilities. But they compensate on good service. We just did ask them to fix the room each day and they did keep the room ship-shaped in time for the restful evening. They do not fail on the usual warmth and smile that the Negrenses are known for.

Location is good. The rest, sucks. If piss water going in your bathroom is your thing, then go here. They've claimed to be calling plumbers for over 5 years. Read the previous reviews on this. Dirty ass bed sheets and pillow cases. The mattress? Look at the picture provided. These people have no idea how to run a hotel. Excuses? Plenty. You're better off sleeping outside with the cats than this place. Sleep in your car if all else fails.

We are currently checked in this hellhole and its Masskara festival here in Bacolod. There is no running water and if it does run it spews murky water. The beds look ramshackle and one of our companions complain that the linens in their room are dirty. Never ever make the mistake of checking in this hotel.

We choose this hotel because it is the most convenient for us . 30 minutes away from our hometown and the reception are very accommodating friendly and helpful . at one time he had to book the same day because of internet issue and we need to use the booking right away .the hotel was able to accommodate even if the booking has not yet come to their system . We stayed at the reception because we need to make sure that the booking is already processed but it was all taken cared of This hotel is perfect for people who wants to enjoy East part of Bacolod, East area includes NGC and a lot of popular places to visit .
