Each of our rooms is equipped with a flat-screen TV, safe, panel heaters, fridge and tea-and-coffee-making facilities. Bathrooms have hairdryer and shaving facilities built in, and all international power points can be used. Wi-Fi Connection is available throughout the hotel. A laundry service with same-day service is available. Guests would be able to enjoy a sumptuous buffet breakfast in our tranquil dining area on the first floor from where they can view the ocean. The outside patio is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a drink or a sundowner. Our conference facilities is state of the art and we can host up 40 guest maximum We offer secure on street parking for al vehicles and during the night we have a guard on duty. The hotel is walking distance from most popular restaurants like the Jetty, The Tugg and the famous Tiger Reef. The centre of town is a mere 10 minute stroll along the board walk.

Great stay. I wished I could have stayed a bit longer. As I had to leave earlier, I got a breakfast pack (but the spread laid out at breakfast looked sooooooo much better). Even though my stay was a bit price, I think I'd love to stay at Swakopmund Sands again. The staff was very friendly.

The room is very comfortable and modern, with very beautiful decoration. Very large, open-plan bathroom, behind the bed. Breakfast was good, but could have been more varied. The staff was very friendly.

This is a smart and simple little hotel just off the beach front and within walking distance of the town’s best restaurants . Our room was a decent size with sn open bathroom. There was a small area where you could sit outside. The bar was cosy and a fire was lit for the cold evenings. Unfortunately the bar closes at 8pm! No lunch or dinner but the breakfast is good and eggs and waffles are cooked to order. Staff were extremely friendly. Unfortunately no alcohol free beer but the excellent barman allowed me to bring in my own supply.

Hotel almost on the beach. The staff are friendly and understanding as we had a trip the next morning to Walvis Bay they allowed us to have breakfast early for which we were grateful. The rooms were different from your normal hotel which was a plus. Close to the beach this hotel is near three recommended restaurants that have good food and wonderful views of the sea. From this hotel you can walk to the museum, beach for sunrise /sunsets and to a few restaurants. I would highly recommend it.

We stayed here in 04/23 for 3 nights. City Center, jetty and the mole with plenty of good restaurants are in walking distance. The rooms are comfortable, very modern but cozy as well. Wifi works well. The Hotel does not offer lunch neither dinner, but the breakfast is quite good. You can order eggs to your wishes and waffles and there is a wide range of bread rolls available. I wish the bar would open some hours longer to enjoy a drink when coming back from dinner. We asked the reception to book a table in a restaurant and booked a tour for the next day. I always had the feeling that was done with pleasure.

We spent 3 nights at Swakopmund Sands as part of a family tour of Namibia (self driving). The hotel is very conveniently located just off the B2 as you approach from the South and is in a quieter part of town away from the main shopping street (a key reason for choosing it). Super friendly staff kept the beautiful rooms spotless, the daily breakfast was superb (especially the granola and the made-to-order omelettes) and the Atlantic breakers are literally a stones thrown away. A perfect place to spend a few days in Swakopmund.

The reception was friendly and very helpful. The excellent location is within walking distance of the jetty and town. We found the entire experience fantastic and very safe. The room was comfortable and spotless. The cleaning staff is excellent. The pub in the central area is lovely.

SS is a wonderful hotel, right in the center of Swakopmund, and was a truly lovely and quiet stay. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff was friendly and helpful. They even let us keep our bags at the desk early prior to checking in. Would have tried to stay here for more than one night, had we known it was so great!
