We stayed here for one night prior to taking a Nomad tour through Namibia and Botswana. The room was very clean and comfortable with a safe, toiletries and bottled water provided. Yvonne, the owner, was extremely helpful; she runs a regular shuttle into town which we used to go to a restaurant we’d booked and she then gave us her phone number so we could ring her after the meal when we wanted to be picked up. There was a small charge for this but we thought it was very reasonable and far easier than trying to get a taxi. Breakfast was good.

None of the rooms have heat or air conditioning. The outside temperature went down to 8 degrees C last night and the room was freezing. They do not have portable heaters or hair dryers. There is an extra blanket and you will need it if it is cold outside. Our room faced the back so there was no sun during the day. The reception lady shuttled 8 of us into town but wouldn't let us off a few blocks early so we could go to the Kristall Gallery. I really do not understand this kind of attitude toward paying customers. I would never stay here again and hope that we do not catch a cold/flu from being so cold for so long.

This post comes at no surprise, as you already threatened with this yesterday. We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. Service and guests happiness is our main priority. As seen in the MANY comments below, my "attitude" towards guests is ALWAYS perceived as helpful, loving, caring and informative. In an attempt to be Eco friendly, bearing in mind that Namibia does not have enough electricity, we do provide warm water bottles at request and have winter inner duvets and extra blankets. The FREE shuttle is offered at 3 times a day. We do have ONE drop off point, to make it easier for ALL guests. I could not stop at the time of your request, as it was in the middle of the street. I also had other guests waiting to be fetched. For door-to-door service, one should then use a taxi service. A real pity that this platform is used inappropriately!

We were greeted in english and german. The wlan worked super. Nice breakfast room and the food very good. The rooms clean and well decorated. No A/C but during the night the breeze from the sea cooled down the rooms. There is a Shuttlebus to the city and back free of charge.
