Good stay in a pleasant, convenient part of Pemba. Rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. In my room the wifi did not work very well - kept dropping connection every 20-30 seconds... All other aspects of the stay were fine, and I'd happily stay here again when visiting Pemba on business.
I recommend Nautilus because it is excellent place for who visit Pemba for business or vacancy/ holidays. Very clear, safe and with excellent quality of service at the reception and restaurant. I recommend investment in a permanent beach environmental/ cleaning staff.
A good hotel that is located right on the beach. Most staff can speak English (or a little of it) which is good for non-Portuguese visitors. I liked the free laundry service, something that long-stay guests will surely appreciate. Good location as the hotel is a stone-throw from Shoprite shopping mall. There is however need for improvement on bathroom towels, some of which have seen better days. Also, there is need for consistent supply of toiletries like shampoo and shower gel. Overall, this is one of the best hotels in Pemba.
with the excellent location, the few things which need to be improved including the breakfast menu & room services. The room was not properly cleaned with no amenities like basics on soaps, shampoos provided though I carry my own. No room service and telephones to contact the receptionist and the restaurants. No one to help with the luggage during check out. Expensive deal to stay with limited service
The rooms need attention. AC not working properly Towels old Service slow Choice of breakfast could be upgraded and then you get charged if you want a coffee refill. For dinner the kitchen had very little stock so half the menu was not available and we had to go and eat outside the hotel
A bit too expensive for the service and quality of the rooms. Sand of the beach should be cleaned or at least a effort to keep it cleaned should be made. Only a bad quality soap was made available and no shampoo or others.
It is located right at the center of the city, yet it gives the feel of a holiday beach resort. The sea can be seen right from the room and the view is great. Our bungalow had two bedrooms, a small hall, a bathroom and a veranda. The rooms were cozy and tolerably clean. There were no toiletries in the bathroom, so carry your own toiletries. The food at the restaurant is good but the service is poor. The waiters are not so efficient is taking food orders. The Pemba Shopping Centre is very near to the hotel. Our stay there was comfortable and would definitely book it the next time we are in Pemba.
Hotel is more expensive than hotels in the area of a higher standard, so value for money not great. Service in the restaurant was very slow. I left in the morning without breakfast because they had not brought it out within 40 minutes.
Enjoyed my stay. I came to work but felt like I was on holiday. The staff was very kind and helpful. The food was amazing. The room always smelt very very nice. It was like home away from home. The waiters I liked most was Alberto and Rafael.
The staff were very friendly, social and helpful. The hotel is very well located by the beach; the rooms are well-maintained and welcoming. The bungalows offer a stunning sea view and a few steps to the beach. The restaurant at the hotel was Amazing!! The menu had quite a variety of seafood which ranged from delicious fish to a steak cooked to perfection.
