Had an amazing honeymoon!!! The adult wing setup is just so romantic. Was greeted with the best hospitality from the time we arrived. Shoutout to Rishi PR The adult section was superb. The swim up room was an extra plus!! The beach was literally 200m from the room, which was amazing!! The room was immaculate. Room service was up to date, at times my room was cleaned twice a day. At Morris beef restaurant Shout out to Rak, Peerbux and Shezaad, they all went well over board to make sure our food was amazing Overall had the best honeymoon Thanks to all the above staff members, they were all wonderful And the overall maintenance off the resort was 5star. I was definitely impressed!!!

We have just returned home after staying at the Victoria Beachcomber hotel at the end of August for 2 weeks. We had booked three deluxe ground floor rooms for ourselves and our four older children (aged 15 to 23), on an all inclusive basis. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to find our room had been upgraded at no extra charge to a junior suite and the two other rooms were both adjacent to ours. All three rooms were just a few steps away from the amazing beachfront. Each room was cleaned to a high standard every day, the towels replaced, minibar restocked, etc, and we had no complaints about the accommodation at all. When we checked in at the hotel we were advised to make reservations at the two al a carte restaurants as soon as possible, as demand is high. We soon learned that the same applied to booking the tennis courts, water sports and boat trips which are part of the All Inclusive package. Certain activities are very popular and places fill up, e.g. glass bottom boat trips, but we managed to do everything we wanted to with a little planning ahead. The food at the main buffet restaurant is of good quality and is varied, changing on a daily basis. A decent selection of wines and other drinks is available too. The two al a carte restaurants (one seafood and one Italian themed) both had good menus but these didn't change during the time we were there. We also had a couples dinner at the 'Morris Beef' steak restaurant (adults only) one evening whilst the children ate at the buffet, and this was nice too. Our general impression was that the chefs and all of the restaurant staff take pride in what they do, the food and service was good and we didn't get bored of the menus during our stay, which can so often happen with all inclusive hotel meal plans. Each evening the hotel arranged professional entertainment/shows in one of the main bar areas, which we watched whilst enjoying some of the cocktails on offer. As well as the water activities provided by the hotel, there are a couple of licensed operators offering their own boat trips to see turtles and dolphins, and rides on inflatables, which have to be paid for privately; and other people selling jewellery, clothing and shells. Although they do advertise their services, there is no hard sell or feeling of being hassled on the beach. We took advantage of these opportunities too and had a great morning swimming with turtles and snorkelling with tropical fish a short distance away from the hotel beach. The tour operator based inside the hotel discussed a range of other private trips which were available and booked us on a speedboat trip along the coast, which included a BBQ lunch on an island and an unexpected sighting of a humpback whale and its baby; and a visit to Port Louis the capital city, and also a sugar museum where we learned about the history of sugar production in Mauritius and enjoyed some rum tastings. All in all, we had a fabulous family vacation... the right balance of busy and relaxing. The hotel is well maintained, the gardens and the swimming pool are wonderful but the real star of the show is the pristine beach and turquoise ocean just a few steps away. Although we were told the hotel was full it never felt crowded. We could always find a table for dinner and had no problem finding a quiet spot on the sun loungers at the beach. All of the staff were friendly, polite and helpful, and really went the extra mile to ensure we had a great holiday. We hope to come back one day!…

The room is very spacious and offers good comfort with a beautiful sea view. So relaxing on the terrace overlooking the beautiful garden with birds singing and the blue sea in the background. Overall service is excellent. Special mention for the restaurant manager Sudesh who ensured that we were well look after. Chef Iqbal and Vikash made sure that our restricted dietary needs were fully met. The food was generally well prepared and there was a good variety. The swimming pool was so inviting. The sea was great for swimming. Finally, a big thank you to Yogesh(accounts dept) who promoted the hotel to us. We look forward to returning next year.

I’m back at the Victoria with my family after 5 years. We have been here many times. We are on our third day and throughly enjoying the service and general atmosphere at the hotel. Chef Iqbal is absolutely amazing and has even taken special care of our dietary requirements. The food is yummy. I want to say a particular thank you to Yogesh (accounts) for promoting this hotel to us. I intend to make the most of my stay in this beautiful relaxing environment before returning to the chilling temperatures of London.

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at Victoria for 2. Jerry kept our room spotless the whole week and was always so friendly. The restaurant staff were extremely helpful in catering for our food allergies and were by far the most competent team we’ve come across in terms of their knowledge of what is and is t in their food!
