Good value for money, apart from really loud music all night Friday and Saturday, so you can forget sleeping. Breakfast was also a disappointment. Rooms are clean and the people are very nice. Just not the place to go for peace and quiet sorry to say.

Well located hotel. Rooms are set around a swimming pool and garden. Perfect place to stay in Flick & Flack. Tiny fridge, no kitchen. Close to a variety of restaurants. Across the road from the beach. Can recommend the day out on a boat. Saw dolphins, snorkled and was fed lunch on an island.

Very highly recommended for the buget conscious tourist. Incredibly friendly staff willing to go the extra mile for any request. Clean, attractive rooms looking onto palm trees & swimming pools. Generous servings at meal times. An excellent base at a reasonable price.

The Manisa Hotel was exactly what I expected from the description on my searches. What I didn't expect was the complete care & consideration that I received from Manager Maneesh & his staff over the days that I visited when my travelling companion was delayed at the start & I needed help getting him into Mauritius. Then the dreaded Corona Virus hit the Island & we had to go into lock down at the Hotel before being forced to cut short our stay. Again Maneesh helped sort out our flights to ensure we were able to leave safely. Aside from all that, the Hotel is opposite the lovely Flic-en-Flac beach, and there are amenities close by like Restaurants, Nightclubs & a supermarket. However, everything you need is at the Hotel. The rooms are comfy, they are serviced daily, linen changed regularly. There was a hairdryer, fridge, kettle, although no coffee/tea etc provided. The grounds & pool are kept very clean & tidy. The restaurant serves excellent food. Breakfasts are continental but with cooked food available on request. Lunch is available again on request. Drinks available all day. I was led to believe that Hotels can be expensive to eat at at night. Not this one! Excellent food! Three course menu of starter then choice of two mains & a sweet. All for about £20 for two people without drinks which again were good price! The staff are all extremely polite & helpful. We were unable to travel around the Island sadly, apart from one day, but certainly we were still able to have a relaxing few days in the sun & pool! I would most certainly revisit the Manisa if everI get the chance to return to Mauritius.

First things first, I saw a woman staff member who Sits on the security hut to the left as you drive into the hotel car park throw stones at a stray dog as it passed by the hotel. I confronted her about it and she denied it then said speak to reception which I did. I spoke to the manager and said it was wrong and no one should abuse animals like that. He said he would speak to her about it. Later that day she apologised to me but it felt very fake. Only two of the staff members we had dealings with was friendly, the rest are not in particular the male staff. Rooms are very dated and only soap is provided no shampoo or shower gel. Beds are large and comfortable and gardens are nicely maintained. Cockroach in room. Breakfast is dreadful. Hotel is very overpriced for what you get. Last thing to mention night club next door has v loud music till 10pm ish every night except Friday and Saturdays when it goes on to 3am so you won’t get any sleep.

Visited restaurant in 1st week of January 2020
They don't have Ala karte menu so no fine dine option
They offer us Buffet dinner @ very high price of Rs.600 per person (1400 indian rupees )
Dal was cold and tasteless
Rice was of poor quality
We were charged for regular water which they served in glass bottle... I had just 2 sips of water and paid Rs.60 for it
Soup was useless
Faratha was good
Only 1 option in main course which was ok ok and too they served limited (kept at table)
They offered us drink, we thought it was included in buffet dinner and then we end up paying Rs.150 more
Huge miss communication, untrained staff (young college students)
Desert was good but when I was about to complete it, waiter took it away and after complaining he brought new plate for desert but I can't eat double desert which was already informed but they wasted food... indirectly
And the only restaurant on beach side road I found empty
I suggest walk a mile more and eat at zub Express for super tasty and in budget indian food...

I stayed here in March 2022 with my elderly mother. The rooms were a good size, the beds were very large and extremely comfortable. The AC worked well, there was a cold fridge in the rooms and the hot shower was perfect. The staff were very helpful and kind to my Mum. The gardens are lush and beautiful and there is a very nice pool. The rooms were cleaned daily, there are tea and coffee facilities in the rooms with tea and coffee provided. We had continental breakfast with eggs cooked to order any style. The manager and staff went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable one.
It was a quiet place as the night clubs like some other establishments had not re-opened since the Covid restrictions.
The location is amazing with the beautiful west facing beach just on the other side of the road. There are good restaurants very close by and the Cascavelle shopping mall is a short bus ride away.
We loved it at Manisa Hotel and would stay there again.

Unhygienic rooms, architect of this hotel must have been such a dumbass. The whole construction of the hotel is a mess. AC is installed at one corner of the room where is doesnt cool near the bed. below Substandard quality of hotel in a place like Mauritius. No basic service like soap, sanitary kit etc in the room. Rooms filled with insects like spiders and cockroaches. This is the time when Coronavirus is in the air.

We just came home from 7 days at Manisa. And we did NOT want to go home again. This hotel has the PERFECT location in Flic en Flac/Mauritius. Flic en Flac is the best area to stay in, if you want to exeperience Mauritius, and the hotel is so excellently located. Central, and just cross the road, and you are on the beach, in the area where most things are happening. You can snorkel directly from the perfect beach which has the nicest sunsets every day. Many excellent restaurants within 3 minutes of walking. I was expecting not so great breakfast, reading the reviews. Me and my daughter was VERY happy about. Simple, but it had what we needed. Juice, thea/coffee, bread, fruits, pancakes(!), croissants and so on. And everyday a waiter came and asked if we wanted sometihg extra (for free). like egg made in many ways, bacon, sausages. Everybody at the hotel was SO nice and helpfull. One of the greatest things for my daughter was the about 10 cats that lived there (buy a pack of cat food and your kids will have so much fun with this). Yes, do expect some noise, it is centrally located. Yes, the hotel is not TOP class, some would find breakfast lacking and so on. But if you want good value for the money, then look no further! I especially reccommend if for families and younger people. Saw many older ones too. And I do recommend this hotel if you want to go around and experience things on Mauritius. Other hotels in the area cost twice as much, at least! And they will be too far away from shopping and restaurtants, and nice everning strolls. It was like living in palm garden with flowers, pool, cats and birds. So lovely.

A relaxed friendly hotel with an excellent location to the beach across the road, restaurants and bars very close by if you don't want to eat in the hotel. Lively nightlife on Fridays and Saturdays hence outside music can be heard. If you are looking for 5 star luxury then please pick a 5* and don't be unfair.
Small pool on the grounds if you are not a beach person.
Staff are very friendly and welcoming and do anything to help you. Myself and my friend had a great time there & will be returning there soon.

Freebie options keep changing from time to time. During our trip a bottle of Sparkling wine was complimentary to Honeymooners.
