Hotel, staff and location all top quality. Room was excellent having very recently been refurbished. Always a good choice in the self service restaurant. We went all inclusive and the drinks package was suitable to our every day needs. High end drinks could be purchased at bar with substantial discount for AI customers.
There’s a daily entertainment programme which could be pushed more. The evening entertainment was held in the restaurant and we took in a couple of excellent shows.
The hotel is right on a Sandy beach. There is coral on entering the sea and I’d highly recommend beach shoes be taken with you or purchased at reasonable prices from local shops.
I’d hired a car for our stay and most days out took about an hour from hotel. Chamarel, Grand Baie, Grand Bassin, Pamplemousse botanic gardens, Port Louis.
This was my 3rd trip to the island and would return to this hotel no problem.
Although all the staff we encountered were great I’d give a special mention to young Mohammed in the restaurant. He’s the happiest boy and always wore a big smile. Patrick, who worked in the bar, couldn’t be more helpful and his knowledge of the island and further afield was second to none.
The hotel manager was always on hand and approachable. He sorted a slight problem we had with our air con in our room in a jiffy.
Although the hotel was full we were always able to get a sun bed by the pool or on the beach and exchanging beach towels was a simple process.
Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

The management team and staff of AMITY Mauritius spent memorable moments at the paradise- like 4 star hotel, Pearle Beach Resort and Spa. We were fascinated by the prevailing serene atmosphere and the friendliness of the management- especially the GM as well as the staff. This property offers value for money for all services and products, ranging from the quality of food, cleanliness of the room, the cocktails and other drinks of the bar, the entertainment, the over- smiling and welcoming staff and management team.
The level of hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness in every nook and public places were of the highest standards. it is worth mentioning an especial thank you to the staff of the spa as well as the security guards who were exceptional.
We will ever cherish very good memories of the moments we spent at this beautiful resort and look forward to come back very soon with more friends and relatives.

Booked 3 weeks in this hotel, we are now nearing the end of our second week.

It's not a bad hotel, average condition with average facilities.

The first week we had wifi and english tv channels in our room but unfortunately during the second week we had a few power cuts and since then no wifi in the room and missing most of the tv channels. We have reported these problems about 5 times over the last few days but unfortunately the staff just smile and say someone will sort it or fob you of with a poor excuse- unfortunately this doesnt happen and whilst reporting the problem you get the idea that the staff either dont take us seriously or simply dont care.

There are a lot of 3 star hotels locally with very similar facilities but at a much cheaper price- personally I'd look elsewhere.

The hotel was brilliant. The views from the room were beautiful and the beach is literally on the doorstep. The rooms were kept clean and tidy. Everything inside the room worked perfectly (AC, shower, TV etc) and the staff were very helpful at all times.

The hotel breakfast was lovely. Always had a range of fruits and drinks to choose from along with a range of other foods to start the day off right. The swimming pool was clean and really enjoyable!

Overall, the experience at the hotel was fantastic and we'd definitely recommend others to stay here!

Hotel itself is spotless, the garden staff work really hard to keep the grounds pristine. My room was lovely overlooking the ocean however the rest of the family were over the road in a block with a tin roof as the view from the balcony, very disappointing. My key card did not work one evening and as I have mobility issues I phoned my daughter to get someone to let me in. She was told they were busy with new arrivals and I would have to wait. The same thing happened the following evening. My toilet seat fell off twice and the toilet door handle came off in my hand. The pool area is very nice , pool tiles kept coming off but staff made every effort to replace them. The pool seemed a bit enclosed, the sea view was non existent as they have built a restaurant overlooking the beach which was closed throughout our stay. The food was a bit disappointing, French sticks that you have to cut yourself., Not very hygienic, bread rolls would be better. Lots of curry dishes which were fine but would have liked a carvery or freshly griddled meat. You could order food not on the menu such as pizza but there was an extra charge. The restaurant was very clean and the staff friendly and attentive. There is a stage in the restaurant with nightly entertainment but by the time it started we had finished our meal and gone to the bar. There was some outside seating overlooking the sea which is lovely. Overall, a good value hotel which could be great with a bit more attention to detail.

The reviews and images meant we were expecting great things but we were let down and very underwhelmed.
We were initially given a room whichever did not have a functioning toilet, also the tv did not work and the room did not get any natural light.
After 3 failed attempts to repair the toilet we were eventually moved
The food was very average, all the cooked meats were very dry. The decor in the dining room and reception was very dated. The whole resort appeared to need a big investment.
Over the Christmas period it seemed the lack of hotel guests was being subsidised by guests coming for the day. The day guests were treating the hotel as an 18-30yrs holiday camp, some people were so drunk they could hardly walk, it meant the pool area was a no go area during the day on Christmas Day.
The breakfast was ok, omelettes were cooked fresh and nice, but the dining room was too dated.
Our maid Ravina was very friendly and made great towel animals and was very attentive to our daughter she is a real credit to the hotel.
Other staff were friendly but unfortunately the resort is such a let down.
There was evening entertainment which the dancers really tried but it was very amateur and in parts embarrassing
Overall this hotel requires a big investment to improve or it could go down the budget drunken kids abroad.

Pearle Beach Resort & Spa has always been and will always be our first choice! My family and myself have been going there around 7-8 times yearly since 2015 and I must say that throughout the years, we have seen how positively the hotel has evolved which is why we keep opting for this hotel without hesitation.

I've been to 5 stars hotels but nothing compares to the warm welcome that we receive each time as soon as we enter the hotel's premise. The entire team is VERY helpful and friendly and as always will go beyond miles in making our stay an amazing one.

Neat restaurant and good table setting. The food is excellent and the Chef is always there to make sure that everything is going on fine. During our last stay in September, we made a request to get a vegetarian dish for my little brother who had his Covid vaccination on the previous day, and he was very happy with his food. Really appreciated!

Moreover, the hotel has also adopted the 'new buffet concept' in order to be in line with the sanitary measures regarding Covid-19, which is very customer oriented. The cocktails are deliciously made especially by the barmen Mr Viraj and Mr Patrick who add their personal touch to them.

The room is very neat, cosy and well equipped and the room service also is of quality. The pool also is clean as there is always some staff who have been allocated for the maintenance and cleaning of the pool.

Very good music entertainment especially with the in-house DJ Nihaal and live performances/cultural shows. There are also different activities provided such as aqua gym, snooker, glass bottom boat..

We always go there for special occasions (birthdays, wedding anniversary, New Year Eve..) and I must say that we are very satisfied and pleased with the services and how much we are pampered by the entire team. We are already planning for our next stay.. Probably this month!

Special mention goes to Jessica, Mr Sailesh, Mr Raja, Mr Ramparsad, Julietta, Sandhya, Anoushka, Iqbal, Cédric, Kushal, Nitish, Chef Deepak, Rajesh and all the other team members I missed to mention

Last but not least, my words of gratitude to Mr Dave Bundhoo who is always here to cater for our needs. Keep on doing the great job!

A well located, very safe and quite hotel situated in the SW Corner of the islands.
Great for watching the sun go down with a Pina Colada.
All rooms are of the same level of comfort it is just the location so it is worth paying the premium to get the sea views which are stunning.
Pros.
Staff, exceptional food, location, customer service and helpfulness.
Beautiful beach and views
Beautiful welcome gifts in our room - thank you so much
Cons
Seemed to be more smokers than we find acceptable these days ( not used to this any more but it was only in the open bar area.)
Would be concerned that if the hotel was fully occupied there are not enough sun beds either on the beach and definitely not around the pool.
Disco lights flashing around the pool all night - not conducive for a relaxing sleep unless you shut your black out curtains!
Overall we had a smashing relaxing break and could not have wished for anything more.
It was the cyclone season but it did not detract it was hot and sunny with a few storms thrown in!
Planning our next trip!

Arrived at 9 am after traveling overnight and lovely welcoming drink. Reception staff friendly and helpfulness they were all throughout the holiday. Check in was 2 pm but we were allowed breakfast and lunch whilst waiting. Also given use of towels and shower room before our room was ready. Same use of towels and shower room on day of departure and food and drink until 2 pm. Our room had everything we needed including tea and coffee making stuff replenished daily and a balcony with a sea view although somewhat obscured by a large Palm tree. We were on the top floor which is highly recommended. We took virtually all meals on the outside terrace over the beach. Food was lovely and all staff great in reception, restaurant, bars and cleaners and chefs.Thel hotel was on the Sandy beach but recommend swimming shoes to go in the sea due to the coral. Plenty of sunbeds on the beach at all times and most times around the pool. Loved the aqua aerobics in the pool and had fun on the free pedalo. Went on the free trip on the glass bottomed boat to the outer side of the lagoon. Nice walks on the beach both sides of the hotel. The entertainment was ok for a small hotel and the Mauritanian and dancing nights were great. We did two tours with mercury holidays rep. South island your and catamaran trip. A bit expensive but worth every penny. Special mention for Cedric our favourite barman and Alan the friendly chef. Very good value for money and highly recommended.Great sunsets from the bar and beach. Had a lovely cake and bed decorated on my birthday.

This hotel is on the west coast of Mauritius right on the beach with fantastic sunsets.
We stayed in a spacious top floor balcony room overlooking the gardens and sea.
The staff are what make this hotel, from reception, housekeeping, bar and restaurant waiting staff. All polite and unfailingly courteous.
My wife found the lunch and evening meal buffets a bit too spicy for her liking, the waiting staff noticed this and alternatives were provided for the rest of our holiday.
We enjoyed the sports available (never did find the table tennis table though!).
We went to the boathouse daily to use the complimentary paddle board, kayaks, pedaloes and also enjoyed the glass bottom boat trip to the reef. More than one paddle board would have been nice so we could have ‘paddled’ as a couple but it didn’t detract.
My wife enjoyed a 2hour spa session with Pushtika.
On my birthday I was treated to a cake served at our table with the DJ providing ‘happy birthday’ music.
On our final night my wife and I renewed our vows and we were wowed by a superb 3 course meal of marlin salad, lobster ( or chicken for my wife) finished off by chocolate soufflé at our private table on the beach served by Cedric. My thanks to Dave Bundhoo, general manager, for arranging this and of course the chefs whom we were able to thank personally at the time. The evening will remain long in our memories.
We also arranged a couple of excursions to see more of Mauritius which included a catamaran/dolphin watching/snorkelling trip.
Marvellous holiday.
