We had traveled up to this hotel and our experience was wonderful. We arrived early since we had made great time on our travel day (11:30am) and our suite was already clean and ready for us despite our early arrival which was greatly appreciated. Staff at the front desk was kind and welcoming and very helpful. As someone with mobility issues, disabled parking was close and convenient and made bringing in our bags a breeze. The suite was thoroughly cleaned and looked amazing! We had a hard time envisioning it from the stock photos but the layout was great and convenient. There was 3 TVs in the suite and you can definitely connect a gaming device or firestick if needed. Just be aware you cannot connect a PS5/Nintendo Switch etc to the hotel wifi so you will need to utilize a phone hotspot. The kitchen was large and had a microwave, mini fridge and coffee maker. The pullout couch was definitely more comfortable then it may sound/look and the bathroom was spacious and the shower had great water pressure. We loved our stay and would recommend highly. Even when there was a few hiccups staff was quick and ready to assist. One of our TV’s had difficulty connecting to cable and maintenance was fast and thorough, not only fixing the problem but taking the time to double check our other devices as well. When there was an elevator issue cleaning staff went above and beyond to help us guests on the 6th floor to get into the elevator when they noticed us waiting for it. We greatly appreciated their attention to detail and their too tier customer care. I would definitely stay here again.

Extra ordinary good breakfast buffet. We especially liked it had all the ingredients to assemble a really good breakfast burrito, as well as real silverware. Even coffee was good. Our room was on the 6th floor and there was some A/C noise during the night.

We Used the suite as a bridal suite to get ready for my wedding. It was like a little apartment. Perfect for my bridal party preparations. The separations of rooms allowed for multiple to be there and not feel crowded. The kitchen area was so helpful and convenient. Definitely want to book the suite again for all stays!

I am Ms. Polk, a travel agent with Global Travels. I highly recommend Hyatt Places for their friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and consistently good breakfast. Recently, I visited Niagara Falls, NY, to evaluate it for guests interested in a weekend getaway and to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately, I couldn't book the Hyatt Place at the falls and was put on a waiting list. Instead, I stayed at Hyatt Amherst, which was disappointing. Upon arrival on Friday, September 27, 2024, the room was cold, and despite multiple calls to maintenance and requesting extra blankets, the temperature did not improve. The room lacked soap, the phone was inoperative, the ice machine on the fifth floor was broken, the jacuzzi was out of service, and a light was not working. Reluctant to move after unpacking, we stayed, but the breakfast had undercooked sausage and hard waffles. Unlike other Hyatt locations, HBO was not complimentary. However, Jessica and Justin provided exceptional customer service, responding positively and helpfully to all requests during our stay from September 27 to September 29, 2024. Unfortunately, the cleaning staff did not maintain the same standard, leaving us without toiletries.

I won't be going back. The room was dirty and we found moldy coffee left in the machine from previous guest. There was no dish soap or extra supplies given we had a suite for an extended stay and had to go purchase our own as we were told they don't provide anything. How are we supposed to wash our dishes?? The couches were dirty, the blinds were dirty and broken, the freezer door was broken. Housekeeping came 1 x out of 5 days we stayed and didn't even clean a single thing. They left 2 towels for 5 people and swapped out trash bags. Left a sink of dishes and never wiped a single thing down or even ran a vacuum. The size of the suite was great, but that was about it. Had to go down daily to the front desk and ask for toilet paper, towels, trash bags and anything else we needed because housekeeping never came and when we saw them in the halls they didn't speak english and could't understand what we were asking for.

We were really hoping for an excellent stay based on reviews but I was a little disappointed. We checked into a one-bedroom suite around 8pm and immediately upon entering, our room was 75 degrees. We turned it down to 70 and started unpacking things/putting my 1yo daughter to bed and 20 mins later the room was 76 degrees...after a call to the front desk, a visit from maintenance to 'easily fix/reset it', the AC worked for all of 1-2 mins before it never turned on again. With no windows in our 4th floor room, we had no option for cooling the room. We were offered to move to a regular room however we needed the extra space and my daughter was already asleep so I did not want to move all of our things that late in the evening when we needed to be up quite early. Instead, we had a pretty warm/uncomfortable night of sleeping. Breakfast was nice, the hotel is clean, the pool was fine, the staff were all friendly however I would not return, at least not to this room, based on our experience.

We were travelling with an infant, I called multiple times before arrival to ensure there was a crib available, at the time of check-in the receptionist said everything is setup in the room. This was mentioned as a request in the Hyatt App while booking. We get to the room, there is no Crib, it took them several hours after calling the reception to bring something that was not a crib, had no mattress available in it. Called them again and told them this was requested multiple times, then the same lady at the reception got us another crib, that had a mattress, and was a crib. The whole ordeal was not pleasant, we were building anxiety as our stay was a 3 night booking, pathetic service in short. They watch the water bottles, we are 2 adults, in the room, and only offer 2 bottles per day of stay, they were extremely strict about it, do people die if you offer additional couple bottles of water?! We come to relax, and enjoy the stay, not to build anxiety. I never ever had this experience in Marriott hotels, they are always courteous. Hyatt is becoming crap with this franchise model, the staff were less than cordial.

Our family spent 5 nights in two rooms at this hotel. Both rooms were on the top (6th) floor and were very quiet and comfortable. Although the hotel was very busy, we were able to change rooms after the first night from a king room to a one bedroom king suite which was much more spacious and included double vanities. The rooms were showing some wear and tear especially the window shades which were either broken, off track or very difficult to pull in all of our rooms. The couches were also quite worn and didn’t appear to be very comfortable if used for a pull out sleeping sofa. These issues were only observations and didn’t negatively impact our stay. Overall the rooms are probably all due for a refresh. The common areas of the hotel were spacious and comfortable including the lovely outdoor seating area with fire pit. We didn’t take advantage of the free breakfast, but it looked delicious.
A special shoutout to EMMA GRACE who was so welcoming, sweet and helpful to us. She checked us in and greeted us with a warm smile whenever we saw her during our stay. Also a big thank you to STEPHANIE who worked her magic to move us into the one bedroom suite. You are both rockstars and deserve special recognition!

Water pressure was LAUGHABLE. No soap in the shower dispenser either, had to use shampoo. Had to return to lobby for complimentary water, which seemed ridiculous. Why wouldn't they leave the water bottles next to the "complimentary water" sign instead of having you go back to the lobby? Privacy shade was ripped, but still worked with some finagling.

Best hotel in the Niagara Falls area in terms of value, space, room quality and comfort. We stayed here for three nights on a family vacation. Hotel is just 20 minutes away from the Falls. Price for our one bedroom suite was half the cost of any room in close proximity to the falls. Hyatt place has ample parking, large, comfortable rooms and bathrooms, a bright modern lobby, a fitness center and an indoor pool with a hot tub. Breakfast each morning is complimentary and has many options.
Why pay more to sleep by the Falls when you can stay just minutes away in much greater comfort and with far better amenities at half the price?
Hyatt Place Buffalo is the best option for families or couples visiting the Niagara Falls region.
