My family stayed here 3 nights. Upon check in, staff was welcoming and very helpful. The lobby has self serve coffee all day. Our room was clean, room service came one of the days we were out to change our towels. Bed was comfortable, we have no complaints. Daily breakfast is good; the hot buffet breakfast is mostly eggs with potatoes and breakfast meat (sausage patty, maple kielbasa, chicken sausage patty). My kids enjoyed making waffles on the waffle iron, chocolate and original. Staff is always refilling stations so if you think something you wanted ran out, go back for another round and check! There is a self service laundry on site that we used. They have 3 front loader washers and 3 dryers that are $2 in quarters. If you don’t have quarters, the front desk said can provide change. We did not utilize the pool or fitness center but when we took a glance it looked modern and clean. They are a pet friendly hotel! We loved seeing the different dogs at breakfast or in the lobby! Overall, we had a great and wonderful stay!

We always stay here when we visit our daughter at UB. Everyone is welcoming, the rooms are spotless, and there is a great vibe! We highly recommend this location, especially if you are visiting a kid at University of Buffalo. The campus is very close by, so this location is perfect!

Two day stay for work. Standard double room. Large, clean, some signs of wear (on carpet and curtains) and large, comfortable beds.
Close to the airport, and my room faced that direction, and you could hear the planes. Certainly not very noisy, but the rooms are not very well soundproofed.
Large, clean bathroom with all comforts. Soap, shower gel and shampoo dispensers; There is also a hairdryer. Lots of towels of various sizes.
They also have a gym (small to be honest and not complete) and an indoor pool.
Breakfast included in the price. There is everything: coffee, juice, biscuits, cereals, omelettes, cooked eggs, etc.etc. Microwave and machine for heating slices of bread, and two waffle irons.
The breakfast area is near the entrance and in front of the reception, personally I prefer when these areas are more secluded.
Price $289 for two nights. I'd say it's worth the price.

Very clean, modern, well kept and equipped rooms and hotel. The room had microwave and a fridge, large counter top in a large bathroom, spacious shower, the breakfast is delicious, had all the options you can think of or want, the main lobby area has nice area to lounge, fresh coffee self serve all the time, pool area and loungers outside are nice and modern as well. Everything was great, location close to shopping and any amenities you would need.

A decent hotel, but poorly run, with exceedingly problematic customer service.
The good: The rooms were mostly clean. The pool has nice chairs and towels. Coffee/tea available at check-in (although not as frequently refilled as necessary).
The food at breakfast was varied and tasty. Staff were frequently refilling and maintaining the breakfast area.
The so-so: The hotel feels very isolated.
The bad:
Noisy and crowded. The hotel is often overrun with sports teams (teens/tweens) with equipment. This means that the common areas are often full and noisy. Multiple people checked out a day early (presumably due to the noise levels).
Guests mistrusted. The hotel makes assumptions about guests. Our room had one tiny bar of soap and one roll of toilet paper. Anything more requires asking at the front desk. There is a deposit paid at check-in, that is standard in some hotels and not in others.
Egregiously problematic staff. The staff are often rude and condescending. They dismiss customer concerns and will yell at and/or publicly mock customers in front of others. The staff are sufficiently aggressive to make customers uncomfortable.
My experience last year and this year were significantly different. Last year this was a wonderful hotel. Unfortunately, something has changed.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear about the issues you faced during your stay. While we’re glad you found some aspects of the hotel, like the breakfast and pool area, enjoyable, we deeply regret that your experience was overshadowed by noise and customer service concerns. Your feedback about the staff’s behavior is especially troubling, and we will certainly address this with our team to ensure that such situations are handled professionally moving forward. We understand how disappointing it can be when your experience changes, and we appreciate you bringing these issues to our attention. We hope you’ll consider giving us another chance in the future.

We attended this location as it was the hotel we were assigned for our hockey tournament. They seemed to want our money but didn't seem to actually want us there. Our kids were accused of doing things when they were sitting beside us. The night time manager was all over us. We felt like we couldn't do anything right. We felt like we were being harassed. I know hockey teams have reputations at hotels and it seemed that they wanted to accuse us of being those people before anything even happened. Moving forward, our team will request not to be assigned to this hotel. We will actually request they be taken off hockey tournament listing because this hotel actually ruined our experience. The other team that was there with us were writing the tournament for the same reasons. It should be noted we were assigned to this hotel last year as well and it wasn't a great experience then either but we thought maybe it was a one off. We actually requested and were willing to pay for a conference room so we could hang out and have our own space. We were told they were booked. They were actually available all weekend. I've been to many hotels that actually assign conference rooms to teams in order to keep them out of the hallways, public spaces etc. This hotel should not be hosting sports teams.

This is a great option if you are looking to stay outside of Niagara Falls (about 30 minutes) it’s a more cost-effective option than staying in town. Upon checking in the staff was really friendly. Our room looked exactly like the photos online my only complaint is that the surfaces need to be wiped better. Breakfast was a typical hotel continental breakfast I would suggest getting up early before the food is picked over (there weren’t many food options left after about 8am). We stayed here for multiple days and housekeeping is by request only due to covid. I called the front desk to ask for a few new towels and they told me to come to the desk and get them rather than sending them up with housekeeping. I thought this was kind of odd that I had to get my own towels considering there was a housekeeper working across the hall. If they aren’t having housekeeping due to Covid I would at least expect them to bring me my towels. A plus is that the hotel room has a microwave and refrigerator. The hotel pool was clean. Overall this hotel was a convenient price and location for what I was looking for.

Our stay at the Hampton was comparable to most others. The location was close to major highways, but not so close that we heard highway noise in a rear room. The pool (9 AM -10 PM) was busy in the late afternoon and evening. We appreciated that breakfast included cold cereals and yogurts (OU), though we thought that there should have been other fruit options in addition to apples.

We stayed here 2 nights so we could see our oldest son compete in an a cappella competition at UB. The hotel is very clean, the staff was friendly, it was located right beside the university and less than 30 minutes to Niagara Falls. The 2Q bed room we had on the 4th floor was very spacious. The reason I didn’t rate the hotel higher is because of the comfort of the beds and the hot breakfast selection. The beds weren’t terrible but they weren’t as comfortable as some other hotels we’ve stayed at; our 13 year old also commented on this after our first night. The breakfast area was very clean and stocked with the same selections as other Hampton Inns, but the 2 mornings had identical hot buffet selections with sausage links, potatoes and western omelets, and scrambled eggs the first morning that were replaced by egg omelets the next. Overall it was a great hotel and one we would stay at again if we’re back in Buffalo.
