This was our third stay at the Reikart House, first time bringing our furry family member (aka dog) with us. We were picked up at the airport right on time by their shuttle service, which also provides service to restaurants and shops in the nearby area. The front desk team is outstanding, shout out to Jose, Ara and Marty; the personal attention is a boutique hotel experience. The hotel is very dog friendly with a nice grassy area for walking and they coordinated our housekeeping service during times we were out visiting family with our dog. The rooms and common areas are immaculate and the room was very spacious and comfortable. Clearly there was a significant investment to restore this property. I highly recommend Reikart House.

I recently stayed at Reikart House and, although I was a little disappointed not to receive a suite upgrade as a Platinum member, I was still very happy with my stay. The hotel's ambience is exceptional, and it is impeccably clean and well-maintained. You can tell that a lot of care goes into keeping the property in top shape.
The staff were polite and courteous throughout my stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Special shout out to the front desk team—Tina, Marty Mis, Tyler, and the lady working the night shift (sorry I didn’t catch your name!). Also, a special acknowledgment to Fabio, who ensures the hotel remains in pristine condition by touching up any scrapes and marks from luggage all across the hotel. What a wonderful person he is and glad to have met him!
I also dined at Jazzboline, the nearby restaurant, and the service was impeccable. The meals are quite filling, so you better love butter!
This is truly a unique property for Marriott, and I’m glad they’ve added this brand to their portfolio. I will certainly be returning to Reikart House with my family. It’s a great place, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

This is a great hotel. Location is easy, right by the highway. It is across the street from Buffalo MRI which is why I was here. Parking is easy and free.
The hotel is beautiful and has cool, elegant interior design. Front desk staff are friendly, helpful and relaxed. There were free cookies at the front desk!
Hallways are quiet, nicely carpeted and wallpapered, and smell like clean fabric.
Rooms are perfectly arranged and appointed. There’s a little bench in the entryway, and and elegant shelving unit. It is both modern and classic. If I would suggest any changes: It might be nice to add slippers in the rooms; and the slightly aging towel labeled ‘makeup’ could probably go.
Restaurant ‘Jazzboline’ is beautiful, with amazing display of curiosities above the bar. Food and service are excellent.
Reikart House goes on my list of favourite hotels. Thank you! :-D

What lowered the points for me was that I could hear my neighbor through the walls, and you can hear the vibrating of footsteps in the next room through the floorboards. You can also hear car alarms going off at night through the windows. The front desk is just a B+. I had to go there three or four times to get routed to the right room. Also, they don't have hand sanitizer easily available in the common area. The room itself has nice decor, but what's the value if you can hear the noise from your neighbor relentlessly all day long?

We stayed at the Reikhart House for 8 nights recently while visiting family in the area. We chose this hotel based on it's convenient location in a lovely suburb of Buffalo, and previous reviews. There are some positives of this hotel - like the unique decor, warm and relaxing lobby, the cookies, and the free parking. This hotel could easy be a 5 rating; however, there are some serious issues with housekeeping.
In the 8 nights we stayed there, our room was only cleaned TWICE, and this was only after extensive efforts on our part by asking at the front desk several times. This despite seeing at least 4 housekeeping carts in our hallway each morning, and leaving the "housekeeping light" on for service. It should be noted that this issue cannot be dismissed as "covid related" as there was no mention of any changes to normal housekeeping at check in, or at any time we had to enquire. Each time the front desk staff, who were very friendly and professional, answered with the right buzz words of "there's no excuse for that", "we will get that taken care of right away", etc, for us only to return at the end of the day to an uncleaned room. We eventually had our room cleaned by Denise, who was excellent, but obviously she only works a few days as it only happened twice.
Another issue we encountered was the spotty wifi - I was advised by the front desk that they were in the process of completing upgrades to the service and perhaps that was the issue.
Thankfully we had a great price point for our stay, which also included the grab and go breakfast - thank you Veronica for your consistent, cheerful service every morning!

The Reikart House, Buffalo, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel was an Art-Deco themed two-floor hotel located on busy Route 5 in suburban Amherst, New York. Location offered quick access to Interstates 90 and 290, Daemen College, and Buffalo International Airport. Hotel staff are pleasant and knowledgeable. Hotel's lot is proximal to a Hyatt located at the rear. The Jazzboline restaurant was located near the hotels and within walking distance although I did not utilize. Please be advised, the Jazzboline restaurant was open for limited hours and for dinner only. Hotel lobby and corridors were clean and equipment functional. Upon entering my guest room, I realized there was a stale, rotten odor. I discovered that the guest toilet was filled with waste; I did not report this to hotel staff. The rest of the guest room was clean and equipment functional. Guest room bed was exceptionally comfortable. Hotel fitness center appeared to be clean although I did not utilize during my stay. Limited, shared outdoor parking areas available. Several take-out and chain restaurants were in close proximity of hotel though all may not be within walking distance as hotel is located on busy Route 5. Vehicle traffic noise was average but did not affect sleep quality. Overall, pleasant experience. I would consider returning to this hotel when visiting the Amherst area in the future.

This is our fifth visit to the Reikart House. We “discovered” it during COVID and have kept coming back. My wife and I were discussing if there was ever anything in any of our visits that bothered us and we could not think of a thing. The staff is amazing. Everyone is kind, professional and well trained. They are also incredibly accommodating with reasonable requests, and willing to stop and chat with an old man like me! The hotel was transformed in 2017 and is now a Marriott Tribute Portfolio Hotel. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed. The hotel is quiet but still maintains a fun but sophisticated vibe. The adjoining Jazzboline Restaurant is very nice and great breakfast options are available in the Parlor Room. No pool but a spacious workout room. We travel quite a bit (although not as much as many of the road warriors who may be reading this) and for us, and our tastes, the Reikart House is the whole package! We will be back.

Spacious rooms, friendly staff and excellent room service.
Staff were welcoming and warm and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable.
Rooms were well decorated, spacious and had nice bathrooms with plenty of room. The mini fridge was a nice addition.
Room service on a Saturday night was efficient, arriving in less than 30 min after we ordered.

Small two storey first-class hotel. Full experience was wonderful. Room was spotless and there were no items left from other guests such as soap, shampoo, coffee etc. Covid precautions included distribution of personal packages of toiletries and coffee items for making coffee. A personal bag of towels was given to us upon arrival. The package even included a pack of disinfecting wipes in so you could even do your own wipe down. The quality of the hotel decor and the decor and furniture in the rooms were that of a 5-star hotel.

Stayed one night last weekend for a quick trip. Though the hotel looks like a generic office building at a strip mall, inside it is very nice. The rooms were clean and fresh, modern with nice appointments, very nice bathroom. Staff was mixed; front desk person was great, but we noted no smiles or "good morning"s from the other staff as we walked down the hallways. Restaurant on Saturday morning was understaffed, with several incidents reflecting lack of training. Sat us at a table, immediately noticed 2 glasses were dirty on the table, and they were replaced, but that shouldn't happen. Guest was seated at table next to us and noted that table looked dirty, and instead of an apology and immediate offer to move them or clean it, the staff member replied only "I cleaned it". Food was fine though potato dish was undercooked, and service was slow, reflecting understaffing. Overall, for the value, this is a very nice option in suburban Buffalo, and with some additional training for the staff could be a true luxury property for a good price.
