Tintswalo at Siankaba is situated on two densely forested islands in the mighty Zambezi River, 48 km from Victoria Falls

and 48 km from the Chobe National Park. Zambia is a country full of wonder, mirrored at Siankaba with a guest experience that centers around the local people who will truly engage, enlighten and delight you with the unique characteristic that each of the Tintswalo properties shares - Tintswalo Siankabahas ‘soul’.

Tintswalo at Siankaba evokes images of style and elegance in a truly African way. The subtle architecture blends with a backdrop of natural forest, creating an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. The luxurious tented camp comprises of seven suites raised above the ground in the tree canopy on the edge of the Zambezi River. All the tented suites have en-suite Victorian baths and showers, double vanities, and a dressing table. Private balconies extend over the river, inviting guests to relax while viewing all that unfolds on the river and the riverbanks of neighboring Zimbabwe.

It is a place of spectacular natural beauty and a haven for an astonishing variety of plant and birdlife. The tented suites are linked by a winding, raised walkway, keeping guests safe while protecting the fragile riverine environment below. An expansive deck with lounge and dining areas overlooks the bush and a swimming pool with poolside loungers. One can enjoy educational nature walks within the island’s forest and learn about the natural environment, including spectacular trees with medicinal properties. Guests may also take a cultural tour and visit the local communities.

There's a hidden gem in what seems to be the middle of nowhere. We really were not sure on where to spend our anniversary vacation... boom... Siankaba flashed before our screen. To be honest, we didn't expect much but we were blown away once we got there. We didn't want to leave. The serene environment is complemented by a bubbly and happy family - because they are not staff, these are just family. The food... oh my word!!! Every meal was curated specifically to how you wanted it. The sounds of the Zambezi as you have a nightly rest is to die for. We can rant all day about this place but please, if you want a home away from home, look no further than Siankaba. We definitely are coming back...

This is a very special place, ideal for relaxing after a safari. It is a beautiful location and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The food is excellent too. What really stands out is the the quality of service. All of the staff from the General Manager Simon, through to Numba, Tom, Lubasi, Charlton, Sydney and Jackson ( I hope that I have not forgotten anyone ) do fantastic job and work very hard to make your stay exceptional in every way. Do take advantage of the excursions on offer, especially to the local village school. Highly recommended.

It was an amazing experience from the moment they received us. All staff were friendly, helpfull and very accommodating to our schedule and especially to our kids needs. The food was delicious and they had added a 'special touch' to everything they did. It is a bit of a distance to vic falls but the island experience was definitely still worth it.

Where do you start when this place is so magical in many ways. When we drove up to the reception area the welcome was just so lovely. The area is so gorgeous. It truly is 5 star and more. You go on a boat to the Island and the views are amazing. Can't explain how beautiful this place is. We stayed 4 nights and every day and night we saw something different and experienced wonderful excursions. What makes this place so special is all the staff. They go beyond and they couldn't be more helpful. They are all so happy, friendly and it felt like we have gained a new family. The food is outstanding, from breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, snacks and of course the 5 course dinner. All the meals were so delicious. We were blown away with the plating, taste and imagination of the chefs. The lodges had the most amazing views, it was so peaceful. The way to get to the lodges was an adventure too which added to the whole experience. The lodges had everything you would ever need and more, pure luxury. The rooms were constantly refreshed and looked after, everyone was so attentive. The sunset cruises were stunning, every night we went out on the Zambezi spotting the wild life, the beauty. Enjoying a sundowner drink with the most delicious little canapés. The guides were full of knowledge about all the wildlife and area. All the excursions we did the guides were so attentive and full of knowledge. They made our day out. We also went to spend time at the local village school, we took children's clothes with us to donate. If you are staying at the lodge, please do the village walk and see the school. The children were so delighted and happy to have us. The whole holiday was a trip of a lifetime and we will never forget it. The staff are now part of our family. Would recommend this place in a heart beat, I think everyone should try a piece of heaven.

We came here for a break during our charity work. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Islands is an amazing lodge very peaceful situated right on the beautiful Zambezi and our rooms had a veranda over the edge of the river. We had a welcome drink on arrival and then the manager joined us for an excellent dinner in the evening. The next day we went on the sunset cruise with a very knowledgeable guide, saw hippos and a baby crocodile in the water before enjoying the sunset. The rooms are spacious and well present with comfortable furnishings. A great nights sleep followed by a morning view over the river.

The most incredible experience at the end of an amazing holiday - the perfect final destination to relax and recharge. Managers and staff alike were amazing with special thanks to the incredible hospitality of Simon, Numba, Tom and Humphrey who made us feel not only beyond welcome but also a part of their family. Rooms and views were beautiful, the sunset tour up the Zambezi was beyond anything we could have imagined and the food and drink was delicious consistently, Sydney was very knowledgeable about local wildlife and no question was ever too silly. We hope to come back soon and see the friends that we have made. Thankyou again Siankaba ❤️ we love you

A truly magical place. The lodges, food and location are stunning. You don't feel like a guest, more like a family member. Evenings sat round the fire chatting with the staff in the evenings were magical. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the team who were professional and so friendly. Difficult to pick out individuals as they were all excellent. Charlton and Frostina served food and drinks with a smile and quiet charm. Sidney and Tom who were so knowledgeable and great company. Simon and Numba ran things with friendly attention to detail and were great fun to be around. Loved the sunset cruises with Brighton who makes an excellent g and t!
