The staff at Siankaba are by far the most hospitable service providers I have ever come across. Felt like people we, my mother and I, had known for years. They made our stay warm and welcomed; they were very friendly, always available and engaged. The food was good (enjoyed the stuffed peppers and my breakfasts most) and the chalets were amazing- clean, neat and very modern furnishing. Special shout out to Sidney, Eunice, Numba, Lubasi, Simon and Keston. What amazing people. Coming back with 7 others next time!
P.S: Do know that it is a bit of a drive away from the falls.

The most incredible experience at the end of an amazing holiday - the perfect final destination to relax and recharge.

Managers and staff alike were amazing with special thanks to the incredible hospitality of Simon, Numba, Tom and Humphrey who made us feel not only beyond welcome but also a part of their family.

Rooms and views were beautiful, the sunset tour up the Zambezi was beyond anything we could have imagined and the food and drink was delicious consistently,
Sydney was very knowledgeable about local wildlife and no question was ever too silly.

We hope to come back soon and see the friends that we have made.

Thankyou again Siankaba ❤️ we love you

Where do you start when this place is so magical in many ways.

When we drove up to the reception area the welcome was just so lovely. The area is so gorgeous. It truly is 5 star and more. You go on a boat to the Island and the views are amazing.

Can't explain how beautiful this place is. We stayed 4 nights and every day and night we saw something different and experienced wonderful excursions.

What makes this place so special is all the staff. They go beyond and they couldn't be more helpful. They are all so happy, friendly and it felt like we have gained a new family.

The food is outstanding, from breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, snacks and of course the 5 course dinner. All the meals were so delicious. We were blown away with the plating, taste and imagination of the chefs.

The lodges had the most amazing views, it was so peaceful. The way to get to the lodges was an adventure too which added to the whole experience. The lodges had everything you would ever need and more, pure luxury.
The rooms were constantly refreshed and looked after, everyone was so attentive.

The sunset cruises were stunning, every night we went out on the Zambezi spotting the wild life, the beauty. Enjoying a sundowner drink with the most delicious little canapés. The guides were full of knowledge about all the wildlife and area.

All the excursions we did the guides were so attentive and full of knowledge. They made our day out.

We also went to spend time at the local village school, we took children's clothes with us to donate. If you are staying at the lodge, please do the village walk and see the school. The children were so delighted and happy to have us.

The whole holiday was a trip of a lifetime and we will never forget it. The staff are now part of our family.

Would recommend this place in a heart beat, I think everyone should try a piece of heaven.

We came here for a break during our charity work. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Islands is an amazing lodge very peaceful situated right on the beautiful Zambezi and our rooms had a veranda over the edge of the river. We had a welcome drink on arrival and then the manager joined us for an excellent dinner in the evening. The next day we went on the sunset cruise with a very knowledgeable guide, saw hippos and a baby crocodile in the water before enjoying the sunset. The rooms are spacious and well present with comfortable furnishings. A great nights sleep followed by a morning view over the river.

A truly magical place. The lodges, food and location are stunning. You don't feel like a guest, more like a family member. Evenings sat round the fire chatting with the staff in the evenings were magical. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the team who were professional and so friendly. Difficult to pick out individuals as they were all excellent. Charlton and Frostina served food and drinks with a smile and quiet charm. Sidney and Tom who were so knowledgeable and great company. Simon and Numba ran things with friendly attention to detail and were great fun to be around. Loved the sunset cruises with Brighton who makes an excellent g and t!

It was an amazing experience from the moment they received us. All staff were friendly, helpfull and very accommodating to our schedule and especially to our kids needs. The food was delicious and they had added a 'special touch' to everything they did. It is a bit of a distance to vic falls but the island experience was definitely still worth it.

It was an awesome experience. The staff are very friendly and will go an extra mile to meet your needs. The scenery is fantastic. You wake up and sleep to the sound of the Zambezi Rapids. All I can say is that words can't explain the experience.

This is a very special place, ideal for relaxing after a safari. It is a beautiful location and the rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The food is excellent too. What really stands out is the the quality of service. All of the staff from the General Manager Simon, through to Numba, Tom, Lubasi, Charlton, Sydney and Jackson ( I hope that I have not forgotten anyone ) do fantastic job and work very hard to make your stay exceptional in every way. Do take advantage of the excursions on offer, especially to the local village school. Highly recommended.

Stayed 3 nights at Siankaba. Excellent service from Chile, Humphrey and the team. Food was exceptional from the very creative chef. A highlight was the peaceful cruise on the Zambezi on a mokoro canoe. Highly recommended.

Good Afternoon. Yes the Chobe Day is a popular activity for guests who are not going on safaris anywhere else in the region. It is a full day activity which normally involves a 07.30 hours pick up from the lodge and road and boat transfer to the Chobe National park. A 3 hour game drive, lunch and then a 2 hour boat safaris on the Chobe River. You will normally be back at the lodge around 18.00 hours. on this trip there is the possibility of seeing a great deal of game, but no guarantees are given. We do offer sunset cruises and mokoro trips (dug out canoe) trips on the river. These are normally around 2 - 3 hours depending on guest preference. On our river trips you are less likely to see game apart from hippos, crocodiles and a great variety of birdlife.

Hi voyager 1. The lodge provides a short transfer by boat to the island. 2. The mokoro is safe as long as you sit still 😊. 3. Mozzies are there - you are surrounded by water ... 4. Drinks are included, also alcoholics. 5. Tiger fishing is offered but not included. You can book a guide with boat (you will have to get up very early 😄). 6. Enjoy the stay, Islands of Siankaba is a beautiful place, give my compliments to the manager (Brian) and to “Whoopi Goldberg” (you will recognize her 😄).
