The Victoria Falls Waterfront is situated on the Northern banks of the Zambezi River, approximately 4 km's upstream from The Victoria Falls and just opposite Siloka (Long) Island. This establishment is designed to attract the younger more adventurous traveller (and of course the young at heart!) who wish to experience the Great Zambezi River, the wonder of the Victoria Falls and its stunning wildlife surrounds, without great expense. It is designed to cater for all travellers, from camping to basic, good quality chalet accommodation. The Waterfront has some lovely riverside chalets with balconies and stunning views. We also have Adventure Village Tents which are permanent tents with 2 x single beds and a campsite - so something to suit everyone. The lodge has fantastic amenities including 2 x swimming pools, a popular bar, restaurant with Peppino's by the river's pizza's (delicious!). There is also an internet cafe, wifi, small souvenir shop and a large activity centre who will help with all activities in the area.

We enjoyed our stay in one of the new Adventure Village rooms. The rooms are small and basic, but are clean and have everything that you need (including safe, fridge, and bug spray). The bed was comfy and the shower was especially nice. All the staff were very friendly and helpf

Hi. We will be staying at Victoria Falls Waterfront next year. I was just wondering do you have gluten free food as my son is coeliac? Thanks
Hi Emma Y, Many thanks for the query - gluten free ingredients are a challenge in Livingstone, but we will certainly make a plan! Please let us know a month in advance of your visit - please direct the email for the attention of AMY - our F&B Manager. Many thanks and see you soon! Vanessa

Is there available transportation to the Victoria Falls airport?
Hi! We can certainly arrange transport to and from Victoria Falls Airport at our on-site activities centre. You are welcome to email your transfer requirements to us at Safari Par Excellence or the Res Team at The Victoria Falls Waterfront. Kindly note that VFA is an airport in Zimbabwe and as we are located in Zambia, a border-transfer will be required and visas may be payable. Please check with your nearest Zambian Embassy if you qualify to purchase a KAZA-VISA on arrival which means one visa for both Zim and Zambia. It costs $50. If you have not yet confirmed your flights, please consider flights into Livingstone Airport (LVI) which is located about 20mins from us here in Livingstone. With thanks and see you soon! Vanessa

Can anyone give me idea of costs for food and drink here please? How much is glass of wine? How much is pizza? Travelling from UK. Thank you
Meals are in the region of $15-20 per person. Wine I am not so sure as I take my fruit unfermented exclusively lol

Hi. We are visiting from UK in July 2017 for two weeks staying in permanent tents. I have read reviews about aggressive monkeys. How aggressive? Likely to bite? Do I need rabies vaccination?! Thanks in advance for any answers.
Hi! Many thanks for your query about The Victoria Falls Waterfront. Oh, our monkeys are mischievous it is true! As we are located in the National Park, we have a troop of vervet monkeys that pass through daily. We have never had an incident where the monkeys have bitten anybody! The monkeys are great thieves though and will be in your personal belongings if they are given an opportunity, so we advise clients to keep doors closed if you are not there and not to keep any food/drink lying around. You will see the monkeys playing on the lawns and in the trees, they are not aggressive by nature but may fight for a banana so don't offer one :) We look forward to welcoming you soon. Kind Regards, Vanessa

"Outside lights to be redirected, and possibly try insulate noise between the rooms, then it would be perfect."
"The adventure village rooms are not on the river. The chalets would provide a better view but might be obscured by vegetation."
"Chalet 3 was great, far enough from the bar and restaurant area, but you could hear the gate to the property rolling open in the morning."
"Book an upstairs chalet room"
"Perhaps some Plug in repellants to help decrease mozzies in the room :)"
