Wow!!! Everything about Tongabezi is stunning / amazing / once in a life time. We stayed in the nuthouse which was the most glorious room I have ever stayed in. We had our own private infinity pool overlooking the Zambezi, a beautiful spacious room and wonderful service from the staff. We were at the end of our honeymoon and could...

Had a great 4 night stay at the beginning of January - the setting is simply amazing being on the banks of the Zambezi, the staff are also fabulous and all are super friendly and enthusiastic to make your stay very special. We stayed in a river cottage which had a huge private deck which over hung the river, the...

Tongabezi Lodge is a stunning and luxurious lodge in a lovely position on the banks of the Zambezi River upstream from the falls. It's truly the last word in indulgence and our 4 nights in January '17 were pure bliss without even mentioning the magnificent falls. Our river cottage was a perfect size for us with views of the Zambezi...

Dear Annie, We thank you for your description of your experience with us at Tongabezi recently. When we first opened our doors to the new cottages, the word ‘dreamy’ was often bandied about. Your depiction resonates with these early sentiments. A four night stay allows you to engage in the host of activities available while also allowing for time to...

the lodge is located on the river with a fantastic view of the wildlife on the river. The rooms are unique - each has an individual character with privacy and stunning views. The staff are the most charming and delightful we have encountered in our travels and go out of their way to ensure we had a memorable experience. Every...

My now fiance and I had an amazing stay at Sindabezi Island. We celebrated New Years Eve here and got engaged, talk about a memorable trip! During our candlelight dinner, floating on the Zambezi River, alongside the hippos, he asked and I said yes! The staff at Tongabezi and Sindabezi were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our 2 night stay....

Hi there, Shu (which happens to be a quintessentially African way of exclaiming in delighted wonder!), what an amazing review to read and great to hear all went well on the night of the ‘special dinner’. The property is stunning and the service couldn't be better. We were lucky enough to have Forbes as a butler, and we stayed in the Dog House. Loved every second of it, especially listening to the hippos just beneath our deck!

We loved Tongabezi, the Dog House is great for families and we had our own pool. The hotel isn't too far from the falls and the lodge is absolutely stunning, on the banks of the Zambezi river. The hotel is full of monkeys and the food is great. Our driver Godfrey was so nice and put our whole stay together...

We arrived in Zambia and immediately made our way to Tongabezi. We are self-drivers and the way in was easy with good roads. Only 2 nights, wasn't nearly enough, but well worth it!!! Excellent hospitality, food, and gorgeous stay on the Sindabezi island- can't recommend it enough. Adding in a trip to Devil's pool in the morning and canoeing down the zambezi river made for an excellent adventure.
