Our stay at Tongabezi was incredible! The setting is just magical on the banks of the Zambezi with the sound of hippos in an evening and birds through the day. The food was fantastic and the room was truly special (we were in the honeymoon suite). We would love to stay again on any future trip. The staff were really...

We traveled as a family and stayed in two cottages by the river. Our stay was simply stunning. The staff could not have done more for us, and everyone seemed to care that we had a truly amazing experience. The trips on the river and to the falls were well worth it and our entire stay was topped off by...

Dear Bhslbrowns, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. It was great meeting your family and we are so glad that Landon had a great time with the Tujatane school kids and could organise football and play time during your stay. The beauty of the location, right on the river, draws one out onto...

Excellent in every way. The staff was attentive to our every need; food was exceptional. The lodge being situated on the river was ideal. Lovely setting, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Victoria Falls trip was well worth taking. We were lucky enough to observe a double rainbow over the falls. My only regret was not staying a bit longer.

Dear bgettenberg, We appreciate your review and are delighted to hear you had a great time staying with us. Exploring the surroundings and appreciating the beauty of the lodge’s location is a balancing act which you managed to master. Whether you are ‘soaking’ up the atmosphere at the Falls in flow, or sipping on a cocktail on your rooms’ river...

This was our fourth trip to Tongabezi/Sindabezi and they each get better all the time. The setting is paradise and the staff are effective and very friendly. The chef tries too hard, but if we wanted fancy food we would go to Cape Town. More simple meals wouldbe more satisfying than the overly condimented fare on offer.

Dear Dave, It was wonderful to get the chance to meet you for the first time, although it was your 4th time back to our neck of the woods. Nyambe and the team took great pleasure in hosting you and I am sure your son enjoyed the choir on the phone as you sat and enjoyed your dinner that night...

From the moment you arrive at the property you are greeted by the warm and caring staff. The manager, Marc, a native South African greeted us with our fantastic butler Fabian. Fabian was great, kind and always wanted to make your stay fabulous. The rooms are spectacular right on the river. We stayed for four nights in 2 different rooms...

Dear TravelerandWine, Good to hear from you and we greatly appreciate your wonderful review of your stay with us last month. Shu, where to begin, your in-depth description of the different accommodations, the host of activities to choose from… we cannot really add to what has been so cleverly described by yourself. Your sentiments regarding the service and staff puff...

My son and I arrived at Tongabezi at the very end of our 2 week South African and Zambian vacation. It was such different experience than the others we had had and a great way to end a vacation. The grounds are green and lush, the property was well maintained and the rooms were nice. We stayed in a cottage...
