The lodge was excellent. All rooms appeared to have river views. The river cruse is a must with all drinks and snack included. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I could not fault the lodge. I would certainly stay here again on my next visit.

Great hotel in fantastic location on the banks of the Zambezi. Genuinely friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful bedroom and bathroom. Good restaurant with plenty of veggie choices and perfect views. The sunset cruise was very special. Short distance by road to the stunning Victoria Falls.

Just checked out of this beautiful lodge ! The staff is beyond amazing! That’s what made the trip ! From the front desk to Betty in housekeeping to thomas in the restaurant wow ! My dad and I had an amazing 3 night stay (wish it was longer ) . We had a huge suite worth the upgrade . With a great view of the Zambezi River. The hotel is very clean and only thing needs a slight refresher some of the furniture in the room is showing its age . I’m always worried about bugs and thanks to maintenance I didn’t have to worry! They tapped under the doors to prevent as best as they can! Definitely a lot of mosquitoes and they do spray which is a must but all beds have cool nets . Also lovedddd the morning visit from the monkeys playing on our roof hahahaha they are the best !!!! Thanks to everyone for making us feel like family ! Sending love from NYC!

AWESOME - such a great place to stay. The ambiance was so truly African inspired, as opposed to staying at one of the newly built (big name) lodges that I saw. The staff, the rooms, the pool, the meals - all top notch. The room turn down service was lovely, especially putting down the mosquito netting - much appreciated . Highly recommend. The little fridge was handy to snacks and water cold. Take a walk off the grounds along the river boardwalk to the other restaurants and the "camping/glamping" area!

We had a three-day stay booked and wished we had stayed longer. The situation, on the side of the Zambesi river, was very peaceful. The staff could not do enough for you. The wildlife was in evidence in the grounds - crocodiles, monitor lizards, birds, monkeys - but we felt totally safe. The hotel offer a variety of excursions which can be booked separately - all very well priced.

We loved our stay here. The Lodge is a beautiful property sitting on the edge of the Zambezi, a short drive from Livingstone Town and the Victoria Falls. Food and drink is good and well priced. The rooms were cleaned and sprayed twice a day. We wore long sleeved clothes and trousers and used our own repellant sprays and never got bitten. We travelled as part of a group with Imagine Cruising, so we had some exciting trips out from the lodge.

What can I say? Our stay in January was amazing. The service, the food and it feels truly African. Right in the middle of the reserve alongside the Zambezi. The weather was cloudy most of the time for us. Being British, we prefer it cooler. The rain is dramatic. The monkey 🙊 troop were fabulous to watch. They steal the sugars off the restaurant tables if they can. Staff are on it of course and swap the sugars and clean the table immediately. Baby croc 🐊 lives in the creek. The sounds of the African night spectacular. I was worried about mosquitoes 🦟 but only got a few and that’s because I love to sit outside a lot. Had a massage with Gracious and I have to say ….. it was the best I’ve ever had. $60 for 45 mins and that’s ‘hands on’ for 45 mins. No hard sell for products, that I hate them doing in spas. Dinner and breakfast 🍳 is buffet style. Dinner is $25 Pp for 3 courses. Chef cooks something every night. I had the crocodile 🐊 stir fry and it was delicious 🤤. Cocktails are around 130 rand to 170. Tips are not expected but welcome. We took rand and some dollars with us. Our room was 260. One of the suites and it was spectacular. Very comfy bed. Huge amount of space. 2 of everything!!!! Even it’s own bar and double balcony. We feel very privileged to have visited zambia and this beautiful lodge that feels authentic.

Stayed really wonderful 4 nights in here, perfect location, quite and amazing view of the river, perfect services from all staff we have engaged, and in general out of expectations and what we have paid for. All of our activities are booked through hotel and they have offered super efficient services, all "connections" are almost perfect during our stays.

Excellent welcome by Clement. Beautiful room and lovely location. Good breakfasts. Concerns....all raised with on site management to no avail. Guest book states free shuttles to town and Falls. These are not only not available but come at a hefty price of 20 usd each way. Our tour operators Owen's Tours (Excellent!) Offered these at 4 dollars each way. The two included dinners. Where they were served. When. What was included. Could not get clarity from anyone. Even after 5 days. Both times we ordered, we were told the kitchen was closed. At 6.30pm! Then a 'plan' was made and a rushed order placed for a single course. After the first time we discussed with the duty manager the next day. He resolved to remedy. To no avail. Rooms not ready on check in. Not for hours. But on requesting a late check out was denied. Even on checking in. Items such bath mat, some room toiletries missing. The new year champagne breakfast advertised on the huge poster in reception had no champagne. Noone had read the poster and all appeared dumbstruck on the request that it was supplied. We refused to leave the restaurant without it. Then it was supplied. Witnessed many other guests struggling with multiple similar challenges through the 5 days.
