Hotel itself is brand new and the facilities as expected was great. The staff, Desi and her colleagues were very welcoming and provided us with exceptional service. If we came back to RAK, we’d more than likely want to come here just for them. The only thing we found slightly disappointing was the food, not enough variety to choose from and very limited choice for children. Otherwise it has been a great experience, we spent 9 nights here, loved every day of it, local shopping mall which is 10 minutes cab ride away which is nice if you want to try out other foods. When you try to book family resorts in RAK they are very countable, this time we chose Hampton and decided to spend the weekend with family, faced a couple of issues during arrival however in the end it was well sorted, located on Marjan Island the hotel is very busy from all sections good for family, rooms quite spacious with both sides views of the sea. Good selection of different food types for breakfast Chef Kamal tries to make sure that all expectations are met in his outlet and Restaurant Manager Azarudeen available at all times and ready to deliver his amazing service alongside his team. Highly recommended place to spent time home away from home, very huge lobby, descent gym and kids club and very staff all over from Valet, Bell Team and pool beach teams thank you so much for your hospitality.…
This was a very important family holiday and after an awful two years, we’d hoped it would be the holiday of a lifetime- unfortunately it was not. We have stayed in Dubai and RAK many times before and what we love about the UAE is the unparalleled customer service. Your holiday caught our attention as it was brand new and really emphasised a ‘bespoke Family Experience for travellers below the age of 12’. With 4 young children in our group we thought this sounded perfect. Can I also remind you before you read my review that I requested a meeting with the manager to discuss all this as I believe it’s better to say something at the time when problems can be resolved but after waiting 20 mins in reception I was told it would be another 15-20 and gave up. I was then told they would call me to rearrange but that didn’t happen either- clearly not a priority. Room 901 We arrived at 3am and after such a long trip with young children, I could not believe that our room hadn’t been made up for our arrival. We had to wait for someone to come and make up the sofa bed and bring a cot despite this being requested. So much for the ‘Children’s welcome’ you also state on your website. The room is also FAR too small for 4 people. In fact it is the smallest room I’ve ever experienced in the UAE. Our balcony banister shakes when leaned on and I really insist this is checked as it could be a future disaster. Food & Drink I found the All Inclusive particularly disappointing. We always go AI on holidays as its nice to not have worry about anything. It was very confusing to understand what we were entitled to and we believed the food truck was included which it wasn’t. This issue is on TUI for instance, they clearly offer a much more beneficial package with the ‘Dine Around allowance’ despite paying more with Emirates. We found this especially frustrating as normally with AI, there would be a pool snack bar to eat at for lunch. Rather than having to drag kids out of the pool and dress according to the strict restaurant policy. There are also no options for food out with the official dining times which I’ve never come across before. As for children the food options were terrible. The first day we walked around looking for food and there was nothing for the kids. Again in AI resorts, there has always been a dedicated children’s buffet section and you stated on your website ‘enjoy your family meals by selecting dishes from the kids menu’ this didn’t exist. Thankfully Azzidine in the restaurant was so helpful and from then on, ensured that chicken nuggets and fish fingers but after 10 days this got a little boring. Another issue was the fact there was no ice cream for the children. Again we are always used to this being included and the flavours of granita provided daily were disguising- ‘Coffee & Milk’ ‘Mango & Basil’ what child would want to eat these! In general I found the staff quite rude, I even asked them if they were ok since they rarely smiled- their reply ‘I’m tired!’ I felt like drinks were thrown at you and often the beer was warm. It was such a lovely experience when Manda served us as he was happy, took the time to ask about our day and made us feel so welcome! For a 4* hotel, it’s a shame to not have any kind of waiter service around the pool or beach. We often cleared our own empties and were even told we couldn’t have more than 3 drinks when getting the round in- there were 13 of us and they knew us! Entertainment The entertainment was poor, the same 2 singers, singing the same songs night after night- it was boring! And again nothing for the kids. There is also not enough seating for the size of the hotel. We found it hard at night to find a table. While the kids enjoyed the kids club, I’m also confused as to why they would need to pay to use the computer consoles- this doesn’t cost the hotel anything? So overall Hampton by Hilton ensures 100% satisfaction guarantee- how? We were not satisfied and wanted support with this but they didn't actually care! We would not stay here again and regret booking this accommodation for what should have been our holiday of a lifetime!…
Hotel Location is very good and rooms are very quiet. Really happy about the location, rooms and breakfast. But pool was very bad. These many rooms but only one pool. Not able to swim also. Shower was leaking and it seems Rooms were given immediately after another guest vacated. So nothing was available and not even cleaned properly. Then we asked one staff (Mr. Masud) to help us. He was really helpful. He cleaned and fill all toiletries and gave towels and coffee, tea pockets. Dining area also too rush and not able to take anything with children bcz of queues. Ms. Tari helped us really and made us feel comfort. Thank you for the wonderful service Mr. Masud and Ms. Tari.
I traveled with my husband for 2 days in Ras Al khaimah. Just wondering if we can find good and quiet place for relaxing. It was a good hotel, with nice beach, and our room was so amazingly great with modern design. Rovel, a bellboy was very good and funny. Yulis and Mahmoud from restaurant were very friendly, attractive and always taking care of us. Breakfast was good, especially the waffle is our favorite. We'll comeback again for our next short holiday
