We booked a week all inclusive at Julian Club quite last minute and without really looking into it too much… let me tell you, I’ve never been more glad and positively surprised!!!
We stayed in a family room (1 double and 1 single bed for our toddler) and it was quite small but perfect for us as we barely spent any time in it. Also our balcony faced the main pool and stage so it was perfect for us to have a few drinks watching the shows (there’s something on every night: kids disco first, then bingo and then different shows each day whilst two lovely entertainers run an evening kids club too!) at night whilst our little one was in bed.
The food, at both breakfast and main meals, is great! Plenty of options every day and so much to choose from even for the pickiest ones. I am dairy free and I found so many things to eat, even for pudding! Everything tasted delicious and looked very appetising too. They also have a kids buffet at dinner time and the snack bar was our absolute favourite… so much that we never had the lunch buffet as always used the snack bar!!
We were a bit worried about the sun bed situation as read online that it was impossible to get one unless up at the crack of dawn… yes it is true that there’s no free beds after 7.30/8am (people get up as early as 5.30 and sleep on the sun loungers till 8 when the pool guys do their checks around the pools) but we refused to get up that early and still always managed to get beds after 9.30 by asking one of the pool guys. There are 4 pools and we always managed to get space by one of them so it’s not as bad as they say!
The hotel is super clean and the cleaning staff and maids work so hard to keep on top of everything.
The position of the hotel is great, plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants just round the corner and at walking distance (about half hour) from Marmaris centre and beaches. We didn’t fancy walking in the heat though, and took bus number 2 from literally just around the corner from the hotel, that took us right into the centre for only 25 TL (about £0.60!).
Check out is by 12pm, but our transfer to the airport wasn’t until 8pm so we checked out in the morning and left the suitcases in the luggage hold then spent our day by the pool and had dinner at the buffet. There’s showers downstairs that can be used and they gave us towels and were very accommodating without pressuring us into paying for late check out (which is something like £20 per hour if I remember correctly)
Staff are absolutely incredible especially the entertainment team who genuinely never stop and go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcomed and included! Everyone was always so smiley and friendly, from the kitchen staff to the maids to the receptionists!
We really loved our stay at Julian Club and would definitely recommended!!

Wasn't sure what to expect when booked this hotel for a holiday but all in all pleasantly surprised I would defintely say make your own opinions when you have stayed. So upon arriving we were promptly and efficiently given our all inclusive wrist bands and a bell boy as I call them helped us to our room with our bags after checking in we did encounter a man with no top on holding a baby and shouting he wanted to speak to a manager but this was a one off and didn't really see much after that which was good because wasn't the first impression needed to begin with. The hotel in itself was packed most days with obviously being a family resort it can get quite busy especially at the pool areas too so I would advise if you wanted to book somewere to relax maybe this wouldn't potentially be the holiday resort of choice if you didn't like the noise, the rooms themselves are very adequate and provide you with a roof over your head for the duration of your holiday so can't grumble really. The only snags I would say was the entertainment team could potentially cater for adults abit more it felt abit child orinated obviously did stuff like pool and interacted with the adults but it was only on our last day they actually really made an effort with us obviously they have alot of people to entertain so I get it, the maids and the bar staff especially a young girl who was lovely some of them weren't really the most smilest of people especially reception, the cleaning around the hotel you couldn't fault they were constantly cleaning the bar areas and restaurants and taking empties back from around the pool which was good to see. The all inclusive food was average some days were better than others it depends what you went for really. It was pretty easy to get a good sunbed but I would suggest going down at 8am just to reserve yours with a towel because by 10am it gets quite full I would say around the pool. All in all I would say it deserves it's 4 star rating but more 3 and a half just because of certain aspects of the hotel. Going outside the main hotel there is a number of bars down the road I would suggest Jacobs for a decent breakfast or the September bar. Whilst your there I would defintely recommend doing a boat trip the views are gorgeous and the jeep buggy safari was a good afternoon out too. To summarise my review would I come here again possibly I wouldn't say it was awful just depends on what people are looking for from there holiday.
Top tip if your wanting WiFi in your room or a safe maybe don't because they wanted quite abit for both we managed with both and didn't have any issues there is WiFi in the lobby and it's good and in regards to our belongings in our room we took the most important stuff with us always like money, passports etc. The rest was hiden away.
I can't fault the cleanliness of the rooms the maids did either they made my partner and mine stays more special with added touches ie towels in shape of hearts so that was lovely.

We loved this hotel, me, my partner and 2 kids came at the end of August for 1 week, we’d booked with on the beach, however with my partner being a regular in turkey we decided to opt for private transfers, I find these better if you are with younger kids. We arrived at the hotel roughly around 6:30pm ish. The pool/towel situation- if you wanted a sunbed at the very front of the pool, then you needed to be down by 6:30am to secure it. If you want to keep it you need to stay with it until 8am or else your towel will be removed. This wasn’t an issue for us. If you were happy not to have the front row bed round the pool then you certainly wouldn’t need to get up at that time. However we took it in turns to go down and get one as my children are both young and unable to swim so it meant we could watch them easily. - again not an issue for us!
The food- Iv stayed in other hotels in Turkey and personally the food at Julian club was brilliant compared to others, the variety of food was excellent, my children are very fussy and there was always something that they wanted to eat. Getting a table to sit at can be hard work but we would find a table first and then take it in turns between me and my partner to go up and get the meals- again not really an issue for us we were never waiting more than 5 minutes for a table. Breakfast was great, lunch at the snake bar was my kids favourite and the evening meal again was great. The rooms, the rooms were fine, we really didn’t spend much time in them and never do. We were in them to sleep and get showered and dressed, the balcony we got was a bit small but again not an issue for us as it was rarely used. Cleaner came in everyday and did a great job 😊 The entertainment team were our favourite, these guys work so hard day and night and were fantastic, we always had such a laugh with them and can’t complain about them at all, we stayed most of the evenings for evening entertainment and my children went to the kids club some evenings and day times too. We mainly used the main pool however also went in the others too- no complaints. My two children loved the slides and went on them countless times. Overall I loved this hotel, I don’t have any complaints and we are looking forward to coming back again next year.

Arrived at around 2am due to flight delay, no food or drink offered, best I got was room temperature water until another guest showed me drinks machine.
Rooms are small (standard double) air con is not very cold, safes & even fridges are paid for extra, WiFi was £50 for the week & it’s sketchy. Only get one scratchy throw for bed, no top sheet & no mattress or pillow protectors.
No sound insulation between rooms / corridors, you can hear next room so much as sneeze (never mind the rest)
Corridors have stained & faded carpets, walls not been painted in years, lift is filthy & stairwells don’t look clean.
Food is virtually identical each day, lots of fried & junk food, thankfully there was a salad bar.
Drinks are typically watered down & flavourless, better to drink water, but even that tastes off sometimes.
Sunbeds are plentiful but mostly reserved, same for a decent place to sit to eat at peak times.
Sitting solo they pitched up & took remaining chairs on one occasion so I was left sitting at a table with just one chair, didn’t even ask!
“Entertainment” seems constant & a lot louder than necessary. Goes on till late.
There’s virtually nowhere to go for any peaceful time.
Some (not all) of the reception staff are abrupt & moody. Same with some bar staff, who in restaurant bar will ignore a solo woman over guys who talk about football.
The most engaging person was the lad who showed me my room on the night of check-in & the very hard working housekeeper who took her time to speak each time I saw her.
Location isn’t best, long distance to town / Beach so unexpected taxi costs, first of which who is right outside the door s of hotel charge me 400tl to Marmaris, where the ride home & same trips on many other times both ways 200TL - when I asked the ones outside hotel again few days later even then said 250TL & when I said too much they became argumentative verging on aggressive as I walked away.
Finally late check out charges, to keep my room past 12pm till 6pm they wanted £80! But found out from others they were quoted less for same extension.
I’d not stay here again, even for discounted prices, if I’d have had the option financially I’d have checked out early & stayed elsewhere

What I can't fault the entertainment staff YOLO they were all so friendly and welcoming they didn't pester you to do games if you didn't want to they liked to get to know you. We spoke alot to Curly and Ozzy. And Hallian the waiter.
The room was good for 3 of us with a chance to upgrade but not needed (wish we had though for more space) The living room had 2 camp beds set up and a small sofa in there with a sideboard and tv on the wall. It wasn't a pull out sofa bed which would have made more sense as there was no space to move around when in the room. We had a balcony looking over the pool which was nice. The room had a separate bedroom off the living room and you accessed the bathroom through the bedroom. The bathroom was lovely only the drain was blocked and the shower tray kept filling up and overflowing onto the floor. I did speak to reception almost every day and the maintenance man came to unblock it the day before we left but unfortunately he hadn't unblocked it well as the same thing happened again by then I gave up.
The pool area had lots of sun loungers. Some needed replacing as a couple of them where we were sat needed replacing. The pool area needed a daily wash down ideally as bees and flies used to annoy you due to spilt drinks and if people had food. They only cleaned the area daily where they set up for the entertainment at night.
The food was decent just a shame they couldn't do more than curry and Chinese of different varieties each night. They did have other foods too which were nice the mash was amazing would of like to of seen more vegetables. Deserts we're also amazing 👏 Breakfast was OK too. Lunch was nice but after a few days it got tedious also non of the salad was covered up which was concerning due to some flies hanging about. Would of liked to have seen theme nights
Reception was always lovely and clean and reception staff were polite and smiled abit.
The rooms could of been hoovered and mopped daily as the floors got abit gross after a few days. The cleaning staff were friendly.
The stairs and landings could of been cleaner stairs mopped everyday lifts and bannisters cleaned daily too they weren't I know I monitored it. (I'm a cleaner and cannot overlook cleanliness)
We spoke to some lovely people there, and people were there just purely to hammer the all inclusive and really didn't take in to consideration that of others who were also holidaying in the same time as them or their own families at some point. The first night someone was kicking off down our hallway then the next night some people on another balcony were being loud until the early hours. Not the hotels fault but if you want a quiet calm hotel this isn't for you.
Tea and coffee wasn't replaced daily so I suggest you buy your own and you have a mini bar that has nothing in it but we had a fidge in our room which we made full use of for milk and water etc.
Entertainment was good at night and daytime entertainment was steady. But entertainment staff amazing 👏.
It's a short walk to some shops, supermarket and chemist.
The mosque is a stones throw away and will wake you up at 6am every morning which we didn't mind.
The jet2 rep was lovely and helpful bless her.

Absolutely recommend this hotel full of love fun and laughter this is an excellent place for the family with plenty to do within the hotel from entertainment team who are an inspiration to Turkey and couldn’t find another hotel with such kind and caring entertainers who make you feel very welcomed. Well done entertainer jay who keeps everyone smiling and the vibes from when you wake up till you go to bed deserves such a medal the hard work he does for everyone, food is amazing always something you will like especially from the snack bar which is such a really great choice of pizzas, pastas, salad, Bolognese, sauces, jacket potatoes etc plenty to choose from and something for everyone and big well done to the friendliest chefs in the world couldn’t do enough for you. Big well done to staff in dinner hall to who bring drinks over to you while eating at table no need to get up and get your drinks. Slides are greatly timed between 10-11 am and 3-4 pm every day. Hotel rooms are of exceptional size for small family’s with the option to upgrade to deluxe rooms for a fair price also kept really clean by the lovely housekeepers who need recognizing for their hard work, and hotel receptionist go out their way to do anything and keep to your needs well done. I have stayed at this hotel before it was refurbished at has kept an excellent reputation and will be making a future return. Thanks Club Julian and look forward to seeing you again next year

As a couple we have just returned after spending 10 nights at this hotel. Overall it was a lovely hotel with it being our first time to Turkey. The excursions here are great and the rep was very helpful when we booked these. The first room we had before upgrading was small, with no where to put our clothes or cases. The bathroom was small but manageable. We then upgraded our room for the last 8 days of our holiday. This room was much better with air con that worked, a large wardrobe to put our clothes and space to put our cases. The wifi was an additional £45 per week, which we found expensive but paid as part of our room upgrade. The staff were very friendly here and helpful. Staff were always coming round to sell you things which was a downside. At the start of the holiday we were able to get a sunbed very easily however the last few days we could never get a sun bed and had to wait till the end of dinner to come down otherwise we wouldn’t get a table due to large groups and overcrowding. When attending this hotel you can’t use the hotel towels on your sun beds otherwise they will remove them or charge you which another couple kindly informs Ed us. So a must is bring your own beach towels for the sun beds. The hotel seemed to get very overcrowded. The food is very repetitive with it being the same every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overall a lovely hotel, very child friendly not really for couples. Would definitely return to Marmaris just not necessarily this resort.

We’ve just got back from a 7 day family trip to Club Julian - Marmaris and had a great time! Our room (1338) was spacious, cleaned daily and had everything it needed. The reception staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to answer any queries. The entertainment team were fantastic, all day and night, Oktay we thank you again! We have to say an even bigger thanks to the pool area staff, considering how busy the hotel was the staff always managed to find us a sun bed or two and came and placed them where ever we ask them to be placed!! The food was great too, there was always something for everyone and plenty to choose from for the kids too, plus it seemed like food was available all day everyday including ice cream (plus pancakes and Nutella sauce 😍) ! One thing that was good to see was the pool maintenance staff coming to the pool daily and checking/ adjusting the chlorine levels and investigating and fixing a couple of loose tiles. Location: Julian is a slow paced 15-20 minute walk down to the sea front or there is taxis outside 24/7. You also have a bus stop 50yds away where you can get a number 2 bus taking you into the city centre costing 15 Lira per adult, which was a good experience. Walking past the bus stop is where the strip starts, offering shops, supermarket, bars, restaurants and evening entertainment too. Overall, considering we booked our trip 6 days in advance we got everything we expected and more, making our trip very enjoyable and the kids didn’t want to leave… no doubt we’ll be back again some time soon!

Food- beautiful, lots of options at lunch and dinner in the main restaurant. Snack bar is extremely busy at lunch, food isn't great and it's quiet dirty.
Rooms- far to small and dated. Rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels (if you leave your dirty towels in the bath) if you wish to reuse your towel just hang them up and they won't change them.
Staff- can't fault the staff, extremely pleasant and friendly, YOLO team work very hard to ensure everyone if having fun. Lots of activities on during the day and disco and shows on in the evening.
Pool area- if you want a sun lounger you need to be up before 6am. Far too many people at this hotel in August so getting a bed is an absolute nightmare. Some days the pool man was helpful and got us beds however other days a different pool man would be rude and just say no. The pools get crazy busy so it's not that enjoyable especially when children are arguing and being rude.

Myself and my sister stayed here for a week with our 4 children aged between 2-14 years. There was so much for the children to do and keep them entertained. The YOLO entertainment team were out day and night ensuring everyone had a good time. The food cannot be faulted, although repetitive in some parts for all inclusive there is a huge choice throughout the day and night. There is a coffee shop with sweet treats, the main dining hall, a snack bar, soup and bread before midnight and all you can eat ice cream. The snack bar is incredible, especially for children. My little boy loved the toasties and the chicken kebab wraps are divine!
The pools are clean and well maintained, we saw water being checked daily and saw staff doing a deep clean and wash of the pools and poolside on the evening. The pools can get quite busy, we tended to stay in the children’s pool by the slides. The one issue with the poolside is sunbeds. People become selfish with the beds, waking up at 6am and giving every single person in their party a bed, even babies. This left us asking the poolside man for a bed and sharing 1-2 between 6 of us. I was in the pool throughout the whole day with the 2 year old, so a bed wasn’t needed so much for me but for people to sit on their beds and watch you find a free little corner with a pushchair really grates on you as the days pass. People would get towels, hats or books, anything they could to show me the beds were taken. When you work all year round the last thing you want is to wake at 6am just for a bed, and despite staff telling the guests every night to stop, they don’t. The rudeness of these British people on holiday really did shock me.
The mosque at the back of the pool is beautiful and I enjoyed hearing the daily calls for prayer.
The bedrooms were clean, our cleaner was so polite and lovely and went above and beyond with the presentation of our towels, even including my daughter’s teddy in it. We had a nice, large room with a good sized bathroom and shower. We had issues with the electric going off, for days this continued but each and every time the reception and site team sorted it.
The staff work hard in this hotel and I think sometimes people see past how hard they are working for us to enjoy our holiday. It’s a hotel I would recommend for families, but please take responsibility for your child. Children have their moments where they might get into a disagreement with others and unfortunately on one occasion when this did happen an adult intervened in the wrong way, forcefully placing his hands on another child. We did not leave the sides of our children once, unfortunately some parents do, whilst enjoying the all inclusive and then things escalate.
An enjoyable time for a family where you feel welcomed and safe by the staff.

Stayed at the hotel in July and we usually managed to get sunbeds if we went down about 7.30 in the morning, although never a sunbed directly around one of the main pools. The staff will bring sunbeds out of storage if you give them a "tip" for doing so. July/August are peak season so maybe September will be quieter with the Hotel not so overcrowded.
