Overrated and expensive. Avoid. A nice location and nice enough facilities but priced on an aspiration to be a top end exclusive luxury resort but currently without the high level of quality or particularly quality of service
to fulfil that. The toilets are excellent and even have the best air conditioning! Staff seem to be trained and obliged to try extract as much money as they can from guests. They tried to charge us EUR 190 to moor a 39’ yacht on their pontoon for an hour over lunchtime. I feel sorry for the poor staff who are given no option but to follow orders, and probably didn’t appear to like being forced to be rude and unhelpful either.

Lovely setting great food but not enough atmosphere they Do not know how to play nice music that gives u a vibe without bein loud and where people feel like chatting together as well as having time alone. They definitely have enough space to set different tempos in the two main areas.

Yazz Collective is located within an isolated cove on Turkey’s southern Aegean coast, & is only accessible by boat. A very last minute decision to meet up with some friends, we flew into the Milas-Bodrum Airport and therefore still had another 3.5 hour drive to Fethiye before boarding a boat for the short 10 minute ride to our final destination.

To be fair the drive itself wasn’t too bad as the roads are quite good, albeit winding. If you can though, I’d opt for the closer Dalaman Airport which is less than an hour away.

There’s something special about arriving at your resort by boat as it creates a completely different perspective; the sights & sounds of the water, the changing landscape and that feeling that you’re getting away from civilisation. It’s hard to beat.

This was our first visit to the Yazz Collective, and to be honest I wasn’t sure what to expect. Stepping off the boat it comes across as a little rustic, with a simple reception setup at the end of the dock. This simplistic theme is consistent throughout and is aligned to the green architecture & eco-friendly surroundings of the resort.

Our Deluxe Suite was spacious and located 30m from the beachfront. The room was quite large although sparsely furnished, with a separate wardrobe area and both an indoor & outdoor/garden shower. To be fair, it had everything we needed for our 5 day stay, except for maybe consistent internet reception.

Yazz Collective has only been open for a little over 1 year, and unlike many of the resorts in the Fethiye/Bodrum area the majority of the guests during our stay were Turkish. As a non-Turkish speaker this made things more challenging as English was not always widely spoken amongst the staff, although we all tried to make it work.

Being accessible only by boat created a degree of exclusivity, with guests either in-house or day-visitors from the many boats anchored nearby. This was especially the case at night when the restaurant evolved into a nightclub where DJ’s played a great blend of music until late.

Although there’s only one restaurant & 2 bars, you never felt short of choice whilst the food menu was quite varied. The burger at lunch was a particular favourite amongst our group, as were the vongole & muscles in the evenings. There’s also a well equipped shop with a nice selection of fashion and souvenirs.

Beyond F&B, we were all there for the beach & sea experience. The crystal clear waters are hard to describe, whilst walking on the shale beach took some getting use to. There’s no shortage of beach chairs and beds to choose from, and the staff are more than happy to accommodate you’re movements when you want to chase the shifting sun.

The staff were absolutely brilliant and ensured that we had an extremely relaxing and enjoyable stay, and we look forward to our next opportunity to visit Yazz Collective.

Very bad service, not for people with gentle stomach :( not recommended specifically for families… the food was really cold and gets to the table after long time. My children had a stomach issues 24h long after we went to that restaurant. Not recommended!!

Tucked away in an isolated cove on the Turkish Riviera is the Yazz boutique, beachfront hotel. It is accessible only by boat making it truly a Mediterranean getaway.

Perks at the Yazz includes spa treatments, a fitness gym, and works of art at the hotel's art gallery. Things are dialed up a notch with DJ sets on the weekends. The pinnacle amenity at the Yazz; however, is just hanging out at the private beach.

My comfort suite was......well comfortable with a king bed and a garden view.
Dining at the Yazz is laser-focused on a farm-to-table theory blended into a menu of international cuisine with custom Mediterranean touches. Meals are served in the hotel's open-air restaurant with stunning views of the Mediterranean. I enjoyed the fresh seafood that proliferated the menu......sumptuous .........then followed by their signature Yazz mule cocktail from the beach bar......kicked like a mule.

So, if you feel the need to destress from the maddening crowd in a beach club environment.............then try the .....................Yazz Collective...................
A Superb Getaway.

Its nature and sea are very beautiful, but there are two important negatives.
First of all, it is a real joke that the rooms do not have a window that can be opened and has a screen. When we are so surrounded by nature - flies, insects, reptiles, etc. - in order to get air in the room, only the door and a window without fly screens can be opened. Since we couldn't leave them open at night - for example, a weasel came while we were sitting on the veranda one night - we had to sleep with air conditioning on, as if we were in a 30-storey city hotel. A terrible sleeping experience in beautiful nature, despite the super silence.
The second negative is the dinner. Almost everyone complained about the price, but I think more importantly, there is very little variety and almost no vegan/vegetarian options. The dessert menu is also very weak. While you're on vacation, you can't even enjoy a simple pizza/pasta & wine for dinner. A facility of this value must either have a real chef's kitchen or a high-quality, comprehensive menu. Regarding the price, I think it is too high since they also serve daily yacht customers, but there should definitely be a discount for those staying at the hotel.

Food is okay, but sleeping in a stuffy room is really annoying. I hope an arrangement will be made to compensate for this architectural error and mosquito nets etc. will be installed on the windows. A solution is found.

First, I would like to share my negative comments, those who read them should stay knowing these:

-When you sit at the restaurant facing the sea, I expected them to build rooms in the cliffs on the right, I didn't understand why seafront lofts were not built in the cavities, my need for luxury and comfort was not met in this sense.

-Drinks named frozen are actually icy. It had to be 24 degrees and slightly icy.

-I couldn't do water sports for 3 days because the water sports department manager was sick. The area was empty every time I went and I couldn't canoe. As you can appreciate, I don't have a cool photo and I'm worried that people will think I can't have enough fun here.

If we look at the positive aspects;
If there were a lesson on customer experience, what is boutique service, how to ensure satisfaction, the friends here could be an example for everyone, such a system. The number of employees is sufficient and there is a friendly team around who always wants to help you. They are both distant and caring enough.

There is nothing to say to the sea. We liked the rooms, they are in the forest, they were thoroughly cleaned and renewed every day.

Yes, the restaurant is expensive, the variety could be increased, especially at dinner, but it is not something I would describe as a deficiency. The restaurant gets crowded in the evening, but there are always tables and lounge chairs for guests.

I was more than satisfied. I'll come again next year.
