While visiting Istanbul, we decided to do a side trip to Cappadocia and found this Hotel at a fantastic price, excellent location and at street level (not up a steep hill as many others), with a good list of amenities. The Hotel is smack in the middle of Goreme, in the center of the Cappadocia region.

The Hotel staff was incredibly engaging and willing to help us with many things. They arranged transfers from/to the airport, offered to assist us in booking area activities, and provided us with clues as to places to eat and see.

A day before our arrival, the manager contacted me and informed me that the room we had reserved had been used by a person that tested positive for Covid. He provided us with options and even upgraded us to a suite because of the inconvenience. It was ok but not the room that we really wanted. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with great water pressure and plentiful hot water.

However, the friendliness and warmness of all the staff (management and kitchen), the generous and expansive Turkish breakfast and the can do attitude of everyone more than made up for the setback we had.

Our bedroom was carved into the hill, and it offered a first and unique experience for us. The room we used had no working AC, the heating worked perfectly and it had minor issues that need attention but did not take away from the fantastic experience. For many visitors the AC is not a problem because seems that visitors prefer a warm room but that was not the case with us. The Manager immediately got us a floor fan that we used to keep us comfortable.

The maid staff replaced towels and sheets every day (ironed bed linens which my wife loved! The kitchen staff worked passionately and hard to keep us safe while everyone enjoyed a superb selection for breakfast.

What made me rate it at a 5 was because of the people that run the Hotel. Top notch and amazing because we understand that they have faced many challenges and shortfalls due to the pandemic. However, that has not diminish they attitude towards visitors and their willingness to make everyone feel special and welcomed.

We loved everyone we met, from the reception and kitchen staff, and to the maids! We felt like family! Recommend this hotel for a pleasant experience in Cappadocia.

P.s. Make sure you tip the service personnel as recognition for their dedication and commitment.

Most positive impressions about the hotel and the Taner team.
We stayed in this hotel in 207 rooms for 5 days, it was a surprise for my wife on her birthday. The guys all helped me a lot in everything I needed: car rental, balloon flights, excursions, flowers. Sincere thanks to the beautiful Hamiyet for her help and attention.
The room is in three levels, in stone, so you can feel the coolness. But you can adjust everything with an air conditioner. The hotel is clean, very atmospheric, the views are amazing!

Overall great value hotel located near the heart of Goreme. It’s about <2 min walk to the bus station and pretty much less than 5-10 min walk to local restaurants. Breakfast was included with our stay. They had a vast selection of breakfast foods and juices/beverages to choose from. They also offer to book hot air balloon rides, Red/Green/Blue tours of Cappadocia, and other activities through their affiliated travel agency Han Mei Mei. Prices were reasonable and it is convenient to book through them if you want to save yourself the hassle of trying to find your own tours/excursions. Front desk is available 24/7 it seems and they’re happy to answer any question you have.

We stayed in a double twin stone room. Our room was cozy and wasn’t too cold when we visited in November. The room was clean as well and included the basic toiletries (towels, soap, shower gel, shampoo) as well as a blow dryer and slippers. However, soundproofing isn’t the best – ambient outside noises (footsteps, random tapping) can wake up light sleepers and the first call to prayer in the morning can be a bit jarring if you weren’t planning on waking up early for the hot air balloon rides.
Also because it is a cave/stone hotel, sediment from the rock walls can fall and it can get a bit dusty in there despite the staff’s best cleaning efforts.

FYI there were a lot of cats on this property and in the area (actually Turkey in general). So if you’re allergic to cats, make sure to bring some allergy meds just in case.

My family and I stayed at Cappadocia Caves Hotel for several weeks during the month of April. The facilities are beautiful, with magnificent views of the city and views of balloons flying above the hotel in the early morning. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Each one of the rooms we stayed in was truly unique with a particular charm. The hotel is clean and well maintained. In addition, it has an unbeatable location, having the bus station, taxi station, pharmacy, supermarket, shops and a wide variety of restaurants just steps away. The hotel arranged our "red tour", balloon ride, and airport transfers. The whole process was very smooth, and the tours were excellent. The reception staff (Turan, Murat, Erkin and Gulhami) was very friendly and attentive, always ready to help us with great diligence, going the extra mile and exceeding our expectations. The buffet breakfast was varied and delicious, with the possibility of ordering other options, such as omelets, menemen, toast, etc. The staff in charge of breakfast (Serdag, Aysegul, Besir, Semih and Fatima) greeted us every morning with a big smile. They were very friendly and hospitable...making us feel like family. In addition, the cleaning staff also proved to be very helpful and diligent. The hotel pet (a Cocker Spaniel named Cinnamon) is very friendly, well behaved and well cared for. In short, the hotel is excellent and the whole staff is magnificent, very attentive and courteous, always willing to help. We are very grateful to each of them. More than a guest, they made us feel like family. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

One of the best hotels in my opinion in the area , its on the main street so you dont have difficulty in finding it , although the location on iphone is wrong,

Their rooms were beautifully decorated , the only problem in their toilet was the shower area was getting cloaked , other than that whole theme of the hotel was great , they have 3 places on their roof where people can sit and enjoy the beautiful view and can take pictures too , the pool was good too that too with a view. Breakfast buffet was something different with lots of variety.

The staff was very friendly and helpful in everything and they speak english too so you dont have to worry about anything

My friend and I stayed there and from the very beginning staff were very friendly. They basically booked everything (airport transfer €7, you pay to the driver, hot air balloon, tours) for us at reasonable price. We stayed in a twin room, which was clean and warm. I also thought it was amazing that they use WhatsApp. Breakfast was also fresh and delicious! I highly recommend this place!

We arrived late at night and walked into the room we were given and I immediately smelled chlorine. Long story short, our cave room was below the pool and we woke up the next morning with pool water seeping through the walls (thank goodness I did not have my bags against the wall). The air conditioner also leaked large puddles on the floor. We asked to switch rooms and at first they said they did not have any available and that we could not get a refund. Eventually the did switch us (upgrade us for free) to a suite which was MUCH better. So beware of different levels of quality in the rooms. Once we were moved we had a great experience here. The signature suite was soooo much nicer than the tripe room we were at first in. The maid staff was very sweet and immediately set up the new room (king bed with a cot). Very cool experience waking up and walking out the front door to a hot air balloon RIGHT THERE. Overall ended up being a good experience. Great location.

A very beautiful, quite and well maintained property. The property has a nice pool and restaurant with amazing spread of breakfast everyday. The staff is nice and friendly. The hotel is easy to locate and has a lot of restaurants and shops nearby.
The room was very nice, spacious and well maintained. We just loved it!!
I would like to mention 2 people specially who made our stay more than amazing!
First is Mr. Murat who is always available at the help desk of the hotel. I was in constant touch with him over WhatsApp as he booked all our tours for us. Hot air balloon, Red valley tour, Green valley tour, horse riding tour, Turkish belly night etc. He was always prompt in his replies and gave all the details very clearly with the charges. When I met him he was always smiling and very soft spoken person and always helpful.
Second mention is of Mr. Turan the manager of the hotel. He was very kind and got us an upgrade in our hot air balloon ride where there were less people. Me and my wife thank you all for making our trip and stay so wonderful and memorable.
We stayed for 3 nights from 17th June 2022 till 20th June 2022. We still feel we could have stayed for a day or two more as the property itself is so beautiful and every morning around 5:30am you could see all the hot air balloons flying across the sky! Cheers and thank you very much again! :)

"Disappointing experience at Cappadocia Cave Hotel. Stayed in Room 504, a duplex room priced at Rs 33,000 (Indian) for three nights (363 euros). Here's my feedback:

1. Room 504 is a corner room with a staircase leading to a small sofa room and then the bedroom with a bathroom. The layout feels cramped and suffocating; my husband felt sick upon entering the bedroom.
2. The door doesn't even lock unless we use a key, raising security concerns.
3. Despite having an AC heater, there is no window or ventilator, making it scary to sleep at night as all we are left with is CO2, no oxygen.
4. Showed the manager discrepancies between room and online photos; they insisted it was the same, but Booking.com features 30 different king room pictures.
5. The only plus was the pool, but the manager was very rude. When we went to him with a concern, he responded rudely, saying, 'My time is valuable.' I've been to Cappadocia before and always met nice people, but this experience was disappointing.

Regrettably, I cannot recommend Cappadocia Cave Hotel to others. A vacation spoiler with the risk of a similar room/experience; better options are available. Hoping for improvements in guest service at Cappadocia Cave Hotel."

Nice rooms, although was given a stone room instead of a cave room. Big individual rooms. Slippers and robes provided. However, room 611 air conditioner was very noisy and had to turn it off. Also no TV reception. Bonus is the shower system and jacuzzi provided. 10mins drive to the hot air ballooning sites.
