We have stayed at this hotel six times, travelling from various airports just so we could stay at this resort, my daughter has allergy to milk & egg and we had cards printed in Turkish to explain this, we showed the head maître d'hôtel ( who at the time we classed a freind ) and he and the management team acknowledged this and promised there would be no problem. During our stay our daughter was exposed over several times, we complained to head of the hotel who dismissed our claims, we stated that if they couldn't cater for our daughter we would eat in Kusadasi, we even brought food from Kusadasi which was suitable for our daughter to eat due to the hotels incompetence. On the eighth night of our stay, we was relaxing in the bar area and was aggressively confronted by the maître d'hôtel and his colleague as he attempted to force a pen in to my hands. He was shouting and was drawing the attention of all the guests in the area, he presented a piece of paper stating that they had made special preparation for my daughters food. I refused to sign it, he was clearly agitated. We was told by several members of staff who we had got to know during previous visits that we was to be monitored and our daughter was not to be interacted with by the animation team. First choice representation was handled by Debbie who was amazing, she and the guest relations manager Umit who again was fantastic had brokered a deal where we would return for three weeks and we had to pay our flights, Tusan declined the offer. Both guest relations manager and Debbie from Jet2 were astonished by this. Jet2 are currently investigating all the incidents during our stay. I have thought long and hard about writing this, it's been a horrific time and we are so hurt by the hotel we used to call home.

Dear Mr. Pitts, Since your claims are currently subject to an investigation by your tour operator, we do not further comment to your review. But we contradict your allegations and claims in general, because things did not happen as you state - this was also communicated to your tour operator in our official statement together with necessary proof. Until the matter has been clarified, we recommend that you refrain from making false claims in public. Sincerely, The Tusan Beach Resort Management

I am currently staying at this lovely hotel with my family. I have visited Turkey seven times and I can honestly say that Tusan has many great qualities that far surpass most all inclusive resorts in Turkey. Firstly the staff are wonderful, very professional and friendly. The food is outstanding! As for the reviews complaining about there not being an English breakfast available.... Do Turkish people come to England and ask for a Turkish breakfast? No they do not. The breakfast is great, open your minds and stop being such cretins! The rooms are great, however decent pillows needed. A few constructive suggestions... the hotel is not lit well, the lights are off in the hallways and parts of the lobby which is a little bit unwelcoming if you have a late arrival . The outdoor furniture abd sun loungers really let the hotel down. They are dated, and of poor quality . New furniture abd decent loungers would give the hotel the 5* feel it deserves. In the evening there the outdoor bar lacks ambiance and would benefit from some simple candles on the tables and some light music. The staff need cocktail training but are so lovely abd willing to learn. Decent cocktails and a spruce up outside and this hotel would be perfect. Great surroundings and a very safe place to be with a family. Well done Tusan. The coffee and tea in the room is gorgeous bqy the way. We will be back ! X

We as a family of three arrived at the hotel on the 30/09/20 for a 11 day holiday. This is not the first time in Turkey as we as a family visit every year. Upon arrival we headed to reception for checking in. The member of staff who dealt with us was very unfriendly with no smile or hello. He just asked for our passport and did what he had to do and gave us our key cards. We were shown to our rooms and our luggages were brought into the rooms. We paid extra for sea view rooms and were given pool view on the second floor with loud music coming from the pool area. We were very disappointed and when we took it up with reception the staff went to have a word with his manager, who came out and said it is sea view and dismissed us. You had to literally turn your body to catch a glimpse of the sea. The bathroom was just horrible. There was no shower door so when you had a shower, the whole bathroom would get extremely wet with a massive puddle and it most certainly is not a wet room. There was a lot of mould all around the shower and the shower head was filthy with black mould. The cleaner would clean the rooms very late in the day and on most days she would forget to supply fresh towels which was annoying. The air conditioning unit was dripping water and when we reported it a lady came up and said it is a technician team job. When they came they they did something which took less than 5 minutes and said it is fixed, but it carried on leaking. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was okay. Due to Covid 19 the staff would serve you from behind plastic protectors which is understandable Again the staff can be rude and there’s a massive language barrier. A couple of the staff members were lovely especially Sardar who works on the inside of the main restaurant, two guys in pink shirts who used to work on cruise liners these guys were very helpful and friendly. The rest could learn a little from these guys. A young lady called Iream who serves teas and coffee across from the pool is lovely. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Staff are rude and when there’s a problem they will just not address it. If you ask for something it is either broken or they don’t have it. If you want to use the safe in your room they will charge you. Tusan you will have to clean your act and be more hospitable. You have to train your staff to be friendly. You are in a hospitality industry.

Dear Mr. Raza, Thank you for your feedback. We just would like to clarify some things for the other readers: Our front desk staff is wearing a face mask and a visor, so we don't know how one can figure wether they are smiling or not. As for your rooms, 2205/06 both are sea view rooms also viewing the pool area, so this complaint is not really comprehensible to us. On the other hand, when we are approached by a guest asking for another room, we offer to change it if possible. At the time of your travel, the house was fully booked to the capacity limit (60%) set by the government and therefore a room change was not possible. The showers are open and do not have doors, but the length of the partition is sufficient so that normally no water splashes out of the entrance / shower. At this point we contradict your claim that there was mold in the bathroom for two reasons: 1. You have not complained to us or your tour guide in this regard, 2. Discoloration of the joints can occur due to the maritime weather in connection with high humidity, especially in the bathroom and should therefore be regarded as normal. Room cleaning is carried out routinely on a daily basis and is also logged. Rooms checking out get priority to have them ready for the next guests arriving. Of course we don't want staff forgetting to replace anything and if that happened, we apologies for that. Technical errors can occur, and if it wasn't resolved, you could've just inform us again and if the problem wouldn't be solvable a room change would take place, but we have no records showing you complaint again about the Air-Co. As you can see with other reviews, our staff gets highly praised for their friendliness and other guests haven't had any language problems, at least no big ones. All problems brought to our attention are addressed, since it is our priority to make our guests stay as pleasant as possible. Furthermore we'd like to point out that there are no records of your complaints to us or your Travel agent at all. We know our act very well Mr. Raza, thanks for that unnecessary advise ;) Sincerely, Ümit Celik Guest Relations Manger

This hotel is very nice but the same as most it has its issues. Reception - check in was very quick ,but the male at the reception desk lost our passports and then said we hadn't given them to him . Luckily enough my wife asked another couple who where just about to go to there room to check theirs . Guess what .. they had ours . Not even an apology from the receptionist. Room - it was spacious enough with a garden view , but every day we had to request a room key as the maid kept taking our spare one from the a/c . Coffee was another issue, we had to ask every day for more , I eventually wrote a note in turkish and left it by the kettle and it did improve slightly. All Inclusive - the restaurant was well staffed and very covid friendly , the problem was that if you prefer english style breakfast apart from continental breakfast and pancakes there was only EGGS to eat ( boiled fried scrambled or cheese omelette ). Drinks where fine the beer was tuborg .but you have to go to 2 different bars if you require a coffee and a wine. Spirits where limited and ice cream only available one hour every day. Snacks where ok. We stayed while quarantine was announced and got absolutely no help or information from the Jet2 rep ( a waste of space ) who only turned up for half an hour 3 times a week . Quite an aggressive rep with no people skills . Her name was Marik. Pool area - was very nice ,good music, plenty of sunloungers/cushions and bar nearby. Beach was a little small but sea was lovely . Waitresses - a lot of girls walking about with trays collecting glasses but not prepared to serve any drinks . Would we return definitely as long as these issues can be improved .. A big thank you to umil at guest relations a very nice helpful and polite man.

we came here in September with only 2 days notice. Its a lovely hotel and spotlessly clean the staff and especially the cleaners are working very hard constantly. The food in the restaurant was okay but xan be a little bit cold, you wouldn't go hungry but we did eat out twice. The snack bar is amazing ran very well pizza, burgers, spa boll all tastes great. The afternoon cakes could be better although we only went once. The evening entertainment was really good and social distancing was perfectly arranged. If you have a late check out you cannot book a room till on the day in our case there wasn't a spare room to freshen up although there is a shower you can use in the spa. I would probably visit again once Covid is over and its more relaxed as I'm sure it would be perfect. If i had one complaint or advice it would be to the the gent "guest" who's an absolute pain he wears a badge and says he's part of the management but if anything he thought he owned the place, being bossy and embarrassing to the lovely staff, has his own table by the bar but never sits at it because he's too busy being a busybody elsewhere,I'm sure the staff know exactly how their doing and a great job without him. Kusadasi is a lovely place to visit in the evening with great places to eat and perfect for shopping.
