September 7 - 15, 2018 This was my first time visiting Turkey. Everything was great! The hotel is next to the beach. You can see the sea and the pool from some rooms. The hotel is huge. The lobby bar is awesome. However, the WiFi was not free in 2018. This is the only disadvantage.
The hotel is stunning and there is so much to do in the hotel itself, the ampi team and entertainment was outstanding, rose, Alice, scooby and mario was the main entertainment and why we enjoyed the holiday more and we can’t wait to see them all next year for two weeks.
If you want the best holiday of your lives you’ll go to the Ephesia hotel. The value for money is AMAZING. The events team are amazing- a huge recognition to both Ronnie and Mero. So many activities to do throughout the day and the shows are fabulous. Nothing is too much for any member of staff here. I’m vegetarian and the food options were great- in fact the food was amazing! The snack bar does this amazing cheesy bread that is cooked right in front of you- there is kebabs and the Turkish night is wonderful! This hotel is literally on the beach and the sunsets each night are out of this world! Make sure to get some great pictures. The spa is also a nice touch! There is so much to do in the area- if you want to do a few outskirtings- don’t book through a rep, go out of the hotel and cross the road to serenity and book in there. We done the water park which was ridiculously cheap whilst there, a boat day trip, quad biking, and a jeep safari. If you head out and get the number 6 Dolmus it takes you into kusadasi town- which is an interesting day. On the beach there is also a cheap water sports tent which is amazing. We done parasailing and jet skiing. If you want an affordable holiday which will blow your mind you’re definitely looking at the right place. I can not recommend ephesia enough you will have the best holiday.…
We previously visited this hotel about 8 years ago, and had a wonderful holiday. There have been many changes, not all for the better. As a previous reviewer has stated, the staff appeared very miserable. They are hammered by the managers, many of whom haven't got a clue about either customer service, or people management. The management overall is extremely poor, inflexible with customers and very authoritarian, often repeating that; "These are the rules!!" . The spa staff are absolutely abysmal, extremely rude to those not purchasing expensive treatments, preferring to watch TV or passionately kiss each other in full view of guests. When I stated that I didn't really feel this was professional, the manager laughed. You are not allowed to use the water slides, or even sit by the quiet pool at the very close by sister hotel. Unaware of this, as the rule had changed from our previous stay, as we were talking with some other guests from our hotel, we were asked for 10 euros per person per visit from the sister hotel manager, who told us that all persons must pay this, and that these fellow guests had already paid (this turned out to be untrue). When I said, ok but I would like to see a receipt, there suddenly was no receipt book!! Several guests, including ourselves had items stolen during their stay. We reported these thefts and were met with complete apathy. There are only 3 lifts for the entire hotel, each accommodating a maximum of 4 persons. The animators made very little attempt to engage people. A lot of the crockery is chipped. Good points are that the hotel is directly onto the private beach, with plenty of sunbeds and shades. The food is overall very good with plenty of choice although perhaps breakfasts are the poorest. The rooms are comfortable, have everything you need and with good air-con. The local Efes beer is very nice. There are plenty of downstairs areas to relax at night. Access to Kusadasi is easy via local Dolmus. This place used to be superb so for the hotel's future, please sort out the management, and also, if the owners wife is going to eat in the main restaurant, it is not a great example to waste plates full of food.…
Fantastic hotel, food was great with loads to offer and very fresh! Pide 😍😍 rooms were cleaned daily to a good standard. Gulcan, Omer, Ronnie and mero from the animation team were amazing. All staff nice and polite and the photographers were very friendly 😁 pool 30 seconds from the beach, all round a fab first time in Turkey!
