I visited the property I late May, 2021 over a weekend period. The staff were pleasant, room was clean, nice air conditioning, small refrigerator, great location, good food in their restaurant, Market, Ladies beach and downtown is walking distance. Great view! The room looked a bit tired, there was loud music past 2am (I stayed over a weekend) on both Friday and Saturday nights. Fan is loose from the ceiling and was noisy, dark hallways in the back of hotel leading to the room - triggered by motion detector. Breakfast is very limited. I gave 3 stars because the price of the room was next to nothing. So what can I expect. Lots of young adults partying all weekend, for that, I will not return to this hotel. Personally, I did not like the party atmosphere
We spent 1 night at the Hotel Carina on our way Izmir and it was an absolute delight. The view of the water from the hotel is picturesque, the room was sparkling clean and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. If you stay, you’ll want to include the breakfast package because Layla and Hozi provide an amazing buffet style spread combined with hospitable customer service and great conversation/suggestions for our stay. Couldn’t be happier!
I had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Carina. Nur is such a lovely host. She and her team (Beste, Seder and Ozgür) took such excellent care of me. They assisted where needed and exceeded my expectations. It felt like home. Rocco at the bar were just as hospitable and friendly. Upon noticing that I was alone he took some time to chat with me and recommended some spots in the city. The hotel is in a perfect location and the rooms are clean, cozy and consists of all the required amenities, accompanied by the most beautiful view. The breakfast is excellent quality and so delicious. Seder and his team served me with such kindness and anticipated my needs. Such an amazing team. Thank you. I will definitely come back again. Huge hotel, great staff, nice food and awesome ambience! What more you can ask for. Total relaxed stay with my husband. Will surely recommend this hotel to my friends and family..and will also return back in future. Cheers:):):)
Stopped here for two weeks. Reasonably comfortable and clean. Daily room service ok with towels replaced, beds made and room cleaned. The staff are pleasant and helpful but the hotel is in need of a refurbishment, the decor looks tired. No tea/coffee making facilities in rooms. Kettles are available at reception but got the impression there aren’t enough for everybody. The hotel has wifi but it’s next to useless in the evening up until midnight. The hotel can be noisy. At nights there’s loud music from the bar until the early hours. There’s a wedding venue across the road; music from here blasted out until nearly daylight one weekend night. And then there’s the road outside which seems to be used as a racetrack by some of the locals. Pool area is clean but you need to bring your own towels, the hotel doesn’t supply them. The buffet breakfast was disappointing, sliced salami, baked beans, scrambled egg and toast was about the best it got. The continental option wasn’t bad. Small shop 200 m up the road which sells alcohol and some food and cigarettes. Kusadasi town is a pleasant 10 – 15 minute walk. No beaches nearby, so you need to get a dolmus (local bus) to the town centre and then a No 5 Dolmus to Long Beach. Try Kardeş Büfe.…
