Detailed Reviews
From the moment you walk into Villa Ephesus you know you made the right choice of where to stay. Every detail of the room, the hosts, the breakfast and tour planning was perfection!! Okan and Hassan, the owners and hosts of Villa Ephesus are in tune with all that's going on in this big beautiful country and have a travel alliance that can set you up with all you want to see around Turkey! We were in the blue balcony room and it was phenomenal. The artifacts that were embedded in a modern turkish room were quite amazing. The hosts set us up with a driver to and from Izmir Airport and also set us up with a private tour and guide of Ephesus and Palmukkale. They also helped us with reservations on an amazing day boat tour of many of the beautiful bays surrounding the coast Their location is steps away from the downtown area, marinas, great restaurants and boardwalks you can walk for miles. .
If you are looking for attention to detail, amazing and attentive hosts, a great location to town and access to all the sites close by...this is where you NEED to stay!!!!

Villa Ephesus was such a beautiful experience!
The staff is just so warm and friendly!
Okan , the manager and owner is really hospitable.
Hussein was so warm and friendly, and ensured that all our needs were well taken care of.
Asli and Melek cooked us an amazing breakfast spread.
The staff was so kind that they even helped us carry our bags to and from the hotel, since vehicles aren't allowed near the market and hotel premises. Don't worry, it's only a walk of less than 100 m. So don't let that deter you from staying here.
The rooms are nice and clean, the location is excellent, just a small alleyway away from the hustle bustle of the main market, and still within the heart of the market. The view from the terrace is excellent!
The architecture of the hotel is amazing! The Greco-Roman vibes of the place, the thought that has gone into the entire concept of the Greek, Turkish and Roman themed rooms is commendable.
Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a hotel in Kusadasi!!

I've been staying at many hotels in Turkey but my stay at Villa Ephesus has been the BEST by far! I liked the hotel from their pictures but when I arrived it looked even better than I had imagined. This is a hotel and a museum, all in one. The owners are so friendly and helpful and they know a lot about the history of Turkey as well. That's why you can discover so many historical artifacts, ancient mosaics, paintings and sculptures in every corner of the hotel. Every room has a unique design and the room service is flawless as well. Very clean, modern bathrooms and the smell is just amazing! The owners paid attention to every detail and that's what differentiates this place from all the others. The location of the place is great as well: It is in the historical center of Kusadasi with just a step away from the bazaar. The breakfast was included with a great view over the sea and the city. My stay at Villa Ephesus has been wonderful and I can wholeheartedly say that this is the best hotel in Kusadasi and the surroundings.

We had an unforgettable stay at Villa Ephesus.
The ambiance of the hotel was both serene and charming, providing the perfect backdrop for relaxation. The design of the hotel, with its tasteful decor and attention to detail, created an inviting and lovely atmosphere. Even the small touches, like the unique name of our room, added to the overall experience, making us feel pampered and at ease.
The service was great. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile.
The hotel's location was ideal, just a 3-minute walk to the beautiful Aegean Sea, allowing us to enjoy the beach effortlessly. Being situated right in the heart of the market meant we had easy access to local shops, cafes, and restaurants, making our stay even more convenient and enjoyable.
The dining experience at the hotel was superb. We were treated to a variety of delicious dishes for breakfast, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. It was particularly impressive, with a wide range of options to suit every taste.
The garden and common areas were beautifully maintained, offering tranquil spaces to sit and enjoy the surroundings.
Overall, Villa Ephesus provided an exceptional experience that we will cherish forever. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy their vacation in Kusadasi. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, relaxation, and convenience.

We stayed at the hotel after our reservations at the DoubleTree fell through. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience. When we made our reservations I made it for three people, since our youngest child was nine years old. Because the hotel can only accommodate three people in a room we had to pay an extra $35 (US) a night. Not the end of the world. They also wanted me to sign a statement admitting we had 4 people in the room. For me it was a bit odd, but I understand the hotel was doing their due diligence. The parking was a bit problematic, due to the location and layout of old Kusadasi. That being said, the hotel is located in a pretty advantageous spot.
Their staff was extremely helpful, and friendly, and eager to assist and everything they could. The morning breakfast was a treat, one of our best in Turkey. I will definitely stay there again if I needed to.

Having worked in the hospitality industry, I understand first impressions are very important. Okan, Hasan and the staff, Melek, Haktan and Uzii, go above and beyond to make sure your every need is met from the very start of your stay. It's easy to understand why Okan and Hasan chose to become hoteliers, they have a passion for providing top quality service, 5 star service. The attention to detail is very impressive, from the exquisite sculptures, decor and design to the quality of the bed and linens. Our hotel room was Apollo. The view from our own terrace was breathtaking. We woke every morning to see the beautiful Aegean Sea. Breakfast was amazing! Traditional full Turkish breakfast with incredible views of the sea. They only use top quality local products. The chef at the hotel really knows what she is doing. The location is perfect. Only a few minutes from the sea, shopping and restaurants. Even though the proximity to the center is a short distance, you feel like you are secluded in your very own sanctuary. I want to say a big thank you to Okan, Hasan, Melek, Haktan and Uzii for making our experience GREAT! We will definitely be back. Highly recommend Villa Ephesus.

At first we struggled to find a place that excited us for our two night stay in Kuşadasi. But then we came across Villa Ephesus. Inspired by the ornate terrace houses of Ephesus and located steps away from markets, restaurants, and the cruise port in the center of Kuşadasi, this boutique hotel left a lasting impression as one of our favortie hotels we've ever found. The first detail, and truly the only negative that we encountered during our stay, is that Villa Ephesus is quite difficult to reach by private vehicle due to the narrow, confusing streets one must meander in order to get there. It is not impossible, though, so don't let this deter you completely. I'd just recommend contacting the staff ahead of time in order to arrange a parking and meeting spot.
Upon entering the hotel, you'll quickly discover that the Villa is actually a combination of multiple old, private dwellings restored and combined to produce one hotel with 16 different but equally charming rooms. This means plenty of stairs and a maze of alleyways between rooms, but the staff did a stellar job of touring us around and helping us settle in. We booked the Zeus room, a premium room with king bed, marble bath, balcony, and, most importantly, a great sea view. Knowing that we were celebrating a wedding anniversary, hotel staff Melek and Hussein made our time here unforgettable with details such as decorating our bed with fresh flower petals and framed pictures of us and a complimentary bottle of house-made wine. Our private balcony overlooked the beautiful mosaiced swimming pool and fountain, but the most spectacular view was obtained from the hotel's statue- and column-lined rooftop terrace. In true Turkish style, breakfast was also quite special each morning and served in a lovely breakfast room. I cannot recommend this hotel enough, as it is certainly the only of its kind in Kuşadasi.

Thank you for taking the time to post your review, we are all delighted that you enjoyed your stay. The location of Villa Ephesus is an Oasis in the heart of Kusadasi Old Town. We are surrounded by Old City Walls and when this historical neighborhood was constructed, they could not really think about modern vehicles. Thus, we are a bit difficult to reach by car or taxis. But isn't it this amazing environment that makes us special from other hotels in the town? We are in the heart of the town but also far from the hustle and bustle of the city. We are glad that it doesn't take a long time for our guests to understand the same thing. I have thanked all the team for taking care of you. We look forward to taking care of you on future visits. Kind Regards, Okan

It’s a hidden gem, very new boutique hotel decorated with a great taste and attention to details! Some rooms are of ancient Greek style, others - Turkish Ottoman’s, and it looks like a museum.
Breakfasts was very tasty, in Turkish style and with good coffee, lovely pool was open till very late, unlike all the other places.
The staff is super-friendly and helpful, we’ve used some of their good advises for restaurants, shopping and sightseeing.
Highly recommended, and will definitely stay there again.

A cute and fantastic hotel in the heart of Kusadasi. Lovely common areas and great attention to details. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is delicious. The hotel is located in an old neighborhood which makes it a little bit difficult to access (need to take dozens of stairs to get to either of the entrances). There is some common parking space in the neighborhood and a carpark nearby.
The rooms are lovely. Each room has a name and a theme that represents a historic era and icon.
The hotel has a couple of scenic terraces which are great to observe the Kusadasi landscape.
If you would like connecting rooms, you can request specific rooms that have that feature. We reserved 2 basic rooms, but since they had other rooms available, the staff were kind enough to upgrade us to 2 of connecting rooms.
My pain points:
The wireless connection was a bit slow in our room and some areas of the hotel. The staff were willing to add a range extender, but we did not use it as our stay was short.
Also, we had a maintenance issue with one of the rooms we stayed in, but I guess it happened because we were the first guests of the season. When raised, the staff assured us that it would be fixed for future guests.

No trip to Kuşadasi will be complete, unless you stay at the Villa Ephesus hotel, I promise you. From the second we stepped off the plane at Izmir, our Hosts could not have been more accommodating. Our flight was 7 hours late, arriving at 12am, yet our private hotel transfer was no problem at all. The moment we stepped through the beautiful hotel gates, we felt nurtured and appreciated. Our hotel rooms were exquisite, with the attention to detail and carefully selected interior design being instantly apparent. The breakfast was delicious, with freshly baked goods and crisp, fresh produce daily. The bar cocktails were generous in alcoholic content (unlike other hotel bars) and the water views from the top terrace were mesmerising.
My visit to Kuşadasi this time, was with a group of good friends. I cannot wait to return here with my husband and adult children. Villa Ephesus is the only place I would ever stay! Thank you so much, Hasan and Okan
