The Hotel is placed directly at the Beach, just 15min by car from Airport. I spent a week together with my son, both were satisfied. The food was good, many different things were offered in the main restaurant as well as local specialities are prepared fresh at the food cottons. Unfortunately, the Hotel closed after our stay (as I heard for some maintenance and renovation), so we could not check all and were not aware about the performance under full capacity. Therefore 4 stars, we will be back and check out again.

Travelling with daughter &son in law & two grandchildren, arrived approximately 10pm all rather tired, check in operator not the happiest of chaps, requested when booking joint rooms but we’re give a floor apart, requested low floors *due to all the equipment that’s required with two children, but we’re given the 3rd & 4th floor, not happy, surely this could have been fixed in a day or two, but sadly no attempt by management to give us what we wanted at a later day,was then asked if we would be willing to go to another hotel, a two minute drive away, showed me a brochure picture, I was amazed ,what kind of treatment is this ? Shocking in my view, after i refused offer, he more or less just handed over the room keys, not off to a good start. We were also given no information on arrival as to where and what time we go for breakfast, when my daughter asked the next morning they referred her to the small information card provided with the room card. I would expect a lot more from a 5 star hotel that’s classed as a platinum rating by TUI. Rooms are lovely, but absolutely no sound proofing, omg you could hear every conversation from the room next door, really surprised considering it looks a fairly new building, sun bed availability limited as people must be getting up middle of the night to lay down towels despite the fact that it’s apparently not allowed until 9am, not really the hotels fault I guess, There are numerous bars around but I wouldn’t call them bars as such more like drink dispensing places, not bars as I know them, and I’m amazed that there isn’t a single tv screen anywhere to be found, I know you don’t go on vacation to watch tv, but I’d like to watch the odd champions league game but nothing doing there, I was thinking that there would be a sports bar, the regular restaurant is quite chaotic, although the food is just ok, there are plenty food outlets, but are only one or two at a time, which can be annoying, especially the ice cream shop, it’s only open from 1pm until 3pm daily, so the little ones have a long wait, the other thing I find a bit odd , there is a lovely coffe/ patisserie but it’s open from 4pm until midnight, I mean who drinks coffee 10,11,12 at night, I think that it would be used more opening at say 10am until 6pm or something like that, it’s only my opinion of course, there are several a la carte dining, we tried the oriental, Italian & the. Steak house, it much more enjoyable than the regular restaurant and the food is of a higher standard, they do mix cocktails but most of them aren’t upto standard I think the problem is the base ingredients ie orange juice are not pure juices, they are very watery, it’s the same as the juice served at breakfast very watery not fresh pure juice so hence the cocktails aren’t great, on the plus’s side there’s a fantastic water park on site, don’t get me wrong we’ve had a good holiday here but with more attention to detail it could have been a fantastic holiday

Just arrived home from an absolutely wonderful holiday at Royal wings. This was our 1st holiday abroad since covid & I was very apprehensive about going but I am so glad we did. The hotel was stunning, absolutely spotlessly clean. Our room was lovely, a king size bed & 1 single on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool & view of the sea! There was six lifts to use but we chose to use the stairs. The main restaurant had a fantastic choice of foods! The covid safe measures were good, sanitizer, plastic gloves to wear & masks all round the restaurant if you wanted them. We didn't use the al a carte restaurants but were told they were very good with plenty of food. There was an extra charge for these restaurants. There were food corners, all round the pool areas & down to the beach, so plenty to keep you well fed, even if you had the munchies after midnight!! The waiters were all very friendly & welcoming, very polite The pool was just fabulous, it was enormous with different bridges going over it. It took you a good 10 minutes to swim from one end to the other & back again. The only problem was that it was very cold. Once you were in, it wasn't to bad but its a shame it wasn't heated slightly! The entertainment team were just brilliant, they work so hard & they were the loveliest people! A big shout out to Neo, Anzhelika, Ahmet, Boran & the rest of team ❤, you made our holiday with the games we got involved in & fitness classes that Anzhelika the fitness queen got us doing. We were crowned King & Queen for winning Mr & Mrs during the evening entertainment one night, it was absolutely hilarious! You are the best, so friendly & we loved you all. All in all we could fault the place, we enjoyed every minute & a week really wasn't enough. Thank you everyone at Royal wings for a great holiday 😊😊

Currently staying at Royal Wings. We arrived late evening on arrival we were asked to move to a different hotel as they said they did not have the type of room we reserved. After spending so long deciding which hotel had the best reviews this was disappointing! We picked this hotel because of the good reviews but unfortunately the buffet food is worse than dreadful and often cold. The food corner food is much better than the buffet, but unfortunately they are only open for short periods which is not clear when you book, we are here with 2 children and they can only get an icicle between 1pm and 3pm during the day. We have stayed at many 5 star hotels all over Turkey through TUI, the hotel is nice, but I can’t see how the food can be 5 star, I would say 3 star at best. We have had only one nice meal at the a la carte Bamboo restaurant in 8 days. The hotel and grounds are fantastic and so clean but I would not return to this hotel purely because of the food. I’ve never written a review previously on trip advisor but having spoken to others who feel the same about the food who are currently staying at the hotel, I hope management will comment.

This was our first time being in Turkey for vacation and we were satisfied with the hotel choice. On the way to the hotel, the Tez Tour travel representative told us (when others had left, we were the last stop) that our hotel was one of the best choices from this area - and it was! Reception Area was very modern and gave a very good first impression. We arrived at the hotel a bit early (around 12 PM) so could already check in, but weren't able to get to the rooms just yet so had to wait a bit, until 2 PM. Meanwhile we received our wrist bands so could still get something to eat from the food corners. Room (1627 which was close to the elevators and with a very nice sea view) Spacious, elegant and had the looks that it was recently renovated. Had a large double bed and a single twin bed (with a sofa that could've been folded into a bed). So could've easily allocated 4 people. Everything inside, all appliances were modern, seemed new except for the kettle which was a bit rusty inside. Bathroom itself wasn't large, but there was a spacious walk-in shower. Balcony wasn't that large either but was enough for drying your clothes and for 2 people to sit in the evening. Fridge was filled daily with water (still and sparkling), sodas and beers. Hotel Hotel grounds were nicely decorated, always clean and amazing (really nice touch were the birds hanging down from both atriums). There were 6+ elevators which were operating rather nicely (during dinner times, there was a bit of queue). The hotel grounds were also kept nicely maintained, all the palm trees and other plants were kept beautiful. Location was really nice, very close to the airport (15-20 minutes by transfer). Restaurants There was one main restaurant and several others - multiple places to get food throughout the day (but pay attention the operations hours, they vary a bit). Food corners (during the day) had many different stations like pizza, sandwich, doner, dessert, filled potatoes, fruits etc. Near the beach there was also a Turkish tent which offered some local pastries which were made on the spot. Food quality great and there was always something to pick from (however over 5-6 days foods in the main restaurant tend to repeat at some point). The service during dinners was different depending on the waiter that serves your table (some were serving your table with some precaution, some were extra attentive - so you kind of have to choose where you sit). Coffee comes from big coffee machines, and the taste (or even lack of it could be felt). Also, there were a la carte (Italian/mediterranean, Turkish/steak, Thai, Fish) restaurants, but these were all for extra charge - didn't get a chance to visit any of these ourselves during our stay. Bars There were multiple bars on the hotel premises, perhaps even 5 if I'm not mistaken and we didn't have the chance to visit them all. Drinks are mostly local (there were occasions where some international brands were used for cocktails also). Beer comes from tap. Different soda types available, water is given in small bottles. The beach bar had some less options than others, but could manage fine. The pool bar had some entertainment also during evening hours and waiters were very attentive/helpful. In the amphi bar, there was a younger bartender that took extra attention when making cocktails which was a pleasant experience. Pools There was basically one big pool which was laid over the hotel grounds/pool area (with different bridges on top of it for easy access to everywhere). The pool was not heated (also not even the smaller children pool). Sunbeds around the pools - there were plenty, but you could only reserve them starting from 9 AM (suggestion would be to reserve at that time to get a place you desire). On the other side of the hotel, there was a reasonably big water park with multiple slides for different ages (with or without tubes to slide). Beach Beach was lovely, plenty of sunbeds, but also reserving them would have to be done as early as possible (~9AM). The beach itself was basically sandy (with smaller stones in the first meters of the coastline). Smaller waves also reached the beach, in general it was pretty calm and also suitable for little children. Shopping There was a store within the hotel premises also (located in -1 floor), the prices were probably a bit higher than outside the hotel, but then again the convenience regarding the location has to pay extra anyway. Outside the hotel, there were 3 bigger shopping centers/malls nearly (5-7min walk), you could get basically everything you'd need. In my opinion, the prices were a bit better if you'd keep to the right, in Kundu Bazaar and the building next to it (Prestige Bazaar). However, more choices were available to the other direction, when kept to the left (Antalium Premium Mall & Kundu Hisar Avm). Regarding negotiating the prices, there was not that much room to be honest so prices were kind of fixed. Excursions We did not take any, but we were offered some from the hotel (Tez Tour representative) - some huge water park nearby and Aquarium visit. Entertainment -day: There were several activities such as volley ball, water polo, darts etc. Two main entertainment areas were still most probably funfair amusement park and aquapark on the street side of the hotel. Also for children there was mini club, where they had different activities for children throughout the day. -evening: In the Amphi theatre, there was Mini disco for kids and later also different night shows with different presentations. Also in the Pool bar, there was some live entertainment (live music, bingo etc) also during evenings. Tipping As far as we understood, it was not mandatory, but expected in several places (restaurants & bars during evening). COVID measures Wearing a mask was not mandatory for guests (however all staff wore it basically all the time themselves). In restaurant first couple of days you could only ask and show that you wanted and staff would hand it to you from behind the counter. Some days later, the counters were removed and you could take it some items yourself, but preferably with plastic gloves - salads, cakes, fruit, coffee etc. Majority of foods were still and remained behind counters throughout our stay. Feedback, areas of improvement - WiFi was not excellent at all times, there were many 5-10 minute gaps in connectivity so this could be improved - hand sanitizers ran out quite quickly and were not filled/replaced with urgency - had to notify staff multiple times - there was no pool which was heated, maybe children pool could've been? - not sure how many reservations were there in a la carte restaurants, but perhaps change the policy that one reservation could be made free of charge to attract more people - we ordered some pictures (10€ each) from the photo place on premises and the quality was not as expected, so perhaps before ordering ask some samples to be shown before you order to avoid similar situation
