I've just come back from a 10 day vacation at Ananas. If you want luxury then don't go there, everything is average. The rooms are simply decorated but you have everything you need. The entire hotel is very clean, from the pool to the restaurant and especially the rooms. The food wasn't very good, they only had turkish specialties with a lot of sauces, meatballs and rice. And they usually had only 2,3 types of main courses. On the other hand they had a lot of appetizers. I understand I am in Turkey but they should have at least one international dish. The entertainers are great, especially Romeo. They have games during the day from water polo to darts. And at night they have all sorts of shows from comedy shows to bingo etc. I wouldn't advise parents with small children to go there because every two nights there is a Disco in the hotel and can be extreamly noisy especially if you have a seaview room. Another downside would be that the beach bar opens at 10 a.m when all the other hotels open at about 7 or 8 a.m. The staff is extreamlly nice and helpfull, they speak very well russian, german and italian but not much english, but you can still understand them.

ROOM. Our twin room faced inland which I believe helped us sleep better as there was not much noise from the outside and I guess we were also lucky with our neighbors. The bed was really good, firm, but not too much. There were no problems in the bathroom, however, you better bring your own toiletries! Tv is ridiculously small with a terrible picture quality and poor selection of channels, but I expected something like that and it is really not important. Fridge in the room is almost useless, hardly cold at all and they left us just one large bottle of water for the whole stay.

FOOD. Poor selection of dishes, especially on the meat side. Quality average or under. Real shame for the hotel that sells itself as 4* in the land with such a great and rich cuisine as Turkey. Make no mistake, we did not stay hungry, but we also did no enjoy the food very much.

BEACH. Again, nothing to make you say wow. There are beds and umbrellas that you have to fix by yourself. Beach bar opens 10:00 (too late) and closes 18:00 (too early). Getting into the sea is complicated as you have to pass large rocks in the shallow waters which is not easy with strong waves hitting at you all the time.

GUESTS. Mostly Russian.

OVERALL. Boringly average. Location very good, 2.5km to the city center that makes for a nice evening stroll. Reception desk useless for any question outside their direct responsibility.

Been in Ananas hotel, on All Inclusive and it was almost complete disaster.
Sea. First of all when you go in sea there are stones with dangerous gaps between and when you combine it with waves that are usual for Alanya it is very dangerous, during that 10 days I saw 4 people which had been hurt. Waiters that work in sea bar are only one that out-stands between the staff, but I guess that it is because they are not closely supervised by "Captain" as it says on his badge.
Room. After two days in hotel I found out that they do not change the towels, when I make complaint to reception I got the info that they change towels every 3 days? After i had wait 3rd day towels weren't changed, I got fresh towels only after I found maid and asked for them, of course 6th day same story. Also for all 10 days they didn't add soap and shampoo to the bathroom, only 2+2 that were in the room first day. Sheets were changed every third day, at least it look like that. Mini bar in the room - there isn't such a thing, there are only refrigerator which stops working when you pull out the card, and you get only one card, so do not expect anything cold if you are not whole day in the room. Also furniture in the room desperately need some refreshment. And yes not to forget they have salt water running from the tabs, so if you want to clean salt from your body you can do it only in the showers by the sea.
Food. Meals weren't so bad, although must be ready to like the hot food, everything is spiced and hot with rare exceptions. Variety of the food was very low, especially for breakfast and repetitive. Quality of vegetables and fruits was also low, one evening they served watermelons that were rotten, and usual choice were between green and almost rotten, nothing in between. And if you like to see full choice be early because if you late you will see only closed plates - they refill meals and cakes rarely.
Bars. As I said sea bar is only one that out stand in this hotel, in all other bars if I need few drinks I would usually need to ask for each again and again until I do not get them all, and look I got from the staff is almost like they pay those drinks from they own money, and that was especially case when the chief of staff, or as they call that function "Captain" were present. I got funny situation when I need two glass of wine and I asked for them few seconds before 23:00 (time were bar is closed), waiter gave me one and then refuse to give me the second one because they are closed. Also, if you lucky you will get bottle of water when you came and then you should refill it in restaurant or pool bar.
Pool. Pool is working until 19:00 but they start to clean it from 18:00 and literary pushing people from the beds and chairs to do their job.
Reception. It is funny thing when you need some extra service (like safe etc.) they perfectly understand English, but if you have some complaint then nobody or if you lucky only one of them would understand you.
Restaurant. Since Alanya is very hot with high humidity and restaurant is on open it would really help if there are some ventilators or air conditioner because with lunch all the guest enjoys in their sweat also.
Fun. Although there is air conditioner in room with billiard and table tennis table it is not turned on, so you can stay in that room no more then 10 minutes. If you need kids activities prerequisite is that your kid speaks Turkish or Russian.

All in all this hotel would hardly deserve 3 stars, and 4 stars are science fiction for them.

I booked this place as it was very reasonably priced. This hotel is really clean. The staff all are friendly , the food is very good and you have lots of option to choose from. I don't know why people want to pay little and expect everything - but honestly this hotel give you everything you need whilst on holiday. I would definitely rate it as a 4+

The hotel was fantastic. The staff were friendly (especially if you tip them) and the food was quite good. The beach and shops are just a stroll away. The rooms were cleaned everyday and quite well (as I said before, especially if you tip them). Overall the hotel was lovely and I would defiantly come back.

Hotel Ananas is a good hotel. Located 2 km from the center of Alanya and in the evening you can stroll along the promenade. Beach sand, but a lot of stones in the sea. Eating a lot. There is always a lot of fish and meat. Fruit variety: plums, melons, watermelons, apples and pears. Delicious desserts are traditional in Turkey. The hotel area is small, but very cozy. Swimming pool great and the place a lot. The bar free drinks and bar open until 2 am. Sometimes the bar disco suit, and if that is not enough, you can easily get to the disco in Alanya by hotel bus.

We get to this hotel by Teztour company. And we liked it because it`s nice and comfortable hotel. The meals are traditional Turkish, it` s very tasty and sweet. The location is not so good 2 km from Alanya city centre, but you can walk through beaches and café in the evening. The beach is sandy but somewhere you can catch stones in the water, so be careful. Our number had balcony with the great view of Alanya Castle walls. The hotel bar is open till 2.a.m. and almost all drinks are free. This is good because many hotels closes at 11 p.m.

I visited this hotel not long ago and I enjoyed staying there very much!
The food is very tasty and varied. There are two big pools(one has slides) and another for children. View is amazing.
Also, I would like to say special thanks to the Tierra Aimation company, which work at the hotel) The best gyus. They are very kind, friendly and creative!!
They organize different shows, invite guests to volleyball, darts and other games.
I had a good time at this hotel, recommend it:)

*The best tip I could give to future visitors from other countries is to buy a Turkish simcard, bc it might get hard with internet:)
