We booked this for its location, pool and the picture of the room. When we arrived, the place was deserted. The pool derelict and had obviously been out of action for a long time. The receptionist was dressed in untidy clothes and appeared disinterested. She finally showed us…
Me and my wife paid more for a hotel so we booked here purely for a pool. When we arrived we shortly discovered there was a drained pool that doesn't look as though it will be back in order anytime soon. We checked in anyway as we had already paid and shown to a dirty room…
The staff are friendly, however they do struggle with their English a little, that's not a negative on them though as they shouldn't really be fully expected to. In the rooms there is no wifi which is pretty disappointing. The pool was pretty full with leaves when we got there…
Good location, friendly staff, good amenities, pleasant , competitive price. Can't say enough good things about it. A nice canal runs between the hotel and the street, and there is a nice courtyard. A short walk from the clock tower.
It is situated a bit far from the main eestaurant areas. Rooms clean, well organised. Bed comfortable shower good. Staff friendly and helpful. Has a restaurant but food not very good, preferred to eat out.
"Choose a bigger room - have a look first!"
"Ask to see the room before paying."
"If going to chiang khong after chiang rai, organise yourselves as the pre packaged ones are more expensive."
"The rooms in the main purple bldg. Are nice. When we were there the first room we got was by the restaurant and although it had a jacuzzi, also had some leaking problems, but when we complained they promptly relocated us. It seemed these rooms were still being worked on and the kinks not yet ironed out. Thereafter, our stay there was perfect."
"Avoid room 4 - the one with the jacuzzi."
