Stayed here after our Kilminajaro Summit and before & after our Safari trip. The hotel was fine and the rooms were clean enough. The one issue was the restaurant. We were the only three people in the restaurant and our meal took well over an hour. Food was good but the wait time was way too long. The bathrooms were also a bit odd in that the shower, toilet and sink were in the same little room. It was a stuffy feeling. I did love the fact that the shower area had a hand sprayer that was pretty powerfull. It made easy work out of our hiking boot cleaning. You just brought your boots (full of mud, rocks, ect) in the shower area, sprayed them off and set them aside to dry.

This hotel was included in our trip package so I don't know what to compare it to. I am not a picky person when it comes to hotel especially after hiking Kilimanjaro. A decent bed and a shower is all I need and this hotel provided everything I needed.

I stayed at Peace Hotel this summer and loved it so much I returned while in Arusha in December.

By no means is this a five-star hotel, but it has all you really need. Friendly staff, hot water, wifi, in the heart of the city, and a good restaurant - what more could you really ask for? I have dietary concerns (I don't eat meat, eggs, or dairy) and the kitchen was extremely accommodating. Every morning there were more than enough options to choose from!

Looking for a budget friendly hotel in Arusha, look no further - this is the spot.

We enjoyed 4 nights in this hotel before and after our Kilimanjaro and safari. Staff was very friendly and welcoming; the room was clean and large. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of hot water and cold water, the food was excellent.

Stayed there for one night before and one night after safari in a triple room. The beds were fine, the room was clean and there was a nice view out of the window but that's where the positives end.

Bathroom is not very nice and there were issues with hot water - there's a water heater in the bathroom but it's pretty small and you have to wait a few minutes. And seriously - transparent door to the bathroom. AC in our room wasn't working or there was some kind of a trick to it that we weren't shown. No glasses in the rooms - we had to go to the restaurant and ask for them. Staff wasn't rude but they weren't very helpful either.

Breakfast is nothing special but it's not bad either so no complaints there, but when we ordered dinner once the food was quite mediocre.

With $90 per room I bet there are better places to stay in Arusha.

Rooms are ok. Breakfast is ok. Everything is just average. But when it comes to the restaurant, it starts getting hard to describe how awful the service and the food is. I went there for dinner and it took them almost an hour to prepare some roasted chicken, which ended being some chicken bones with almost no meat (like chicken neck!) with some rice and veggies. I should have taken a clue from the fact that I was the only guest at the restaurant. For the price I paid, I have had real organic chicken meat in Tanzania in various locations. On top of all, at the end of the dinner they tried to overcharge me and when I pointed out their math mistake, they did not even try to apologize. Anyway, I got my expensive chicken bones, and they got their review.

Was included in our organized trip. WiFi was ok in the restaurant but weak in the room. Water was sometimes difficult to get fully warm for showers. They provide toothbrushes, paste, and soap. Location is pretty ok though. Close to a major supermarket and Kahn's barbecue.

Great place to stay here in Arusha. This hotel was booked by our tour company Africa Joy Tours.

The beds were comfortable and super soft. There was a water heater so we had hot water on demand after waiting a 5 minutes.

The only complaint was the noise on the neighborhood. It was fine- nothing you don't expect from city life.

But... The best part is their free continental breakfast. Awesome fresh squeezed avocado and orange juice or whatever is in season. The fruits were succulent. The sweet potatoes were great! The eggs were wonderful as well. Tea and coffee were nice and hot.

And the wifi was excellent! No disruption in connectivity and I was able to use Skype with it. I would stay again. No issues.
