HHA is a non-profit organization based in Moshi, TZ with many outreach clinics including Maasai villages nearby Arusha. The HHA team stays overnight at this wonderful, well-kept hotel when it has monthly Maasai villages clinics during the dry season.
It was such a great place to come to at the end of the day since we drive at least 1hr both ways to reach the Maasai villages where the HHA team attends patients.
The room was very clean, nicely organized with needed outlet, hot shower, mosquito net. The restaurant makes it super easy to get some delicious food & drinks instead of getting back into the car to go into Arusha. The staff & owner are very attentive & very helpful. I can't wait to go back!!

We stayed many days here and loved everything. Our host and hostess, Yann and Careen, were a delight. Yann was absolutely devoted to our comfort and needs. When you walk out the door you can hike for free right into the magnificent forest, including a massive grove of eucalyptus. The service is impeccable and the food was very inexpensive and yet truly delicious. We loved the 2 dogs, too!

Encore un lieu étonnant ! Et encore du personnel adorable (on a l'impression d'être attendus) ; des chambres immenses (ça vaut le coup d'y rester plus d'une nuit)

Here's another amazing place! And again smiling personnel to give you the impression you're just expected; very large rooms invite you to stay more than one night. I highly recommend the place !

The Dan Stam Hotel is an excellent place to stay. We arrived and stayed 1 day before leaving for safari. Very comfortable rooms, clean and well-kept, excellent fresh/homemade dinners, and delightful staff beyond our expectations with their kindness and hospitality especially Tumaini. It was a perfect place to stay and start the safari. I would highly recommend Dam Stan to anyone coming to the area.

The Dan Stam Hotel was an excellent place to stay during our time in Arusha. The rooms were clean and well-kept, the staff was BEYOND our expectations with their kindness and hospitality, and the location was perfect (away from the busy Arusha city center but still easily accessible). They served delicious breakfasts each day and we had a wonderful dinner meal there too. I also loved the lushness of the grounds and the mountain view! I would highly recommend Dam Stan to anyone coming to the area and cannot speak more highly of Dan Stam the awesome staff!

Really nice place. Very affordable. Quiet. Great view of mount Meru. The service is very friendly and kind. The food is also good. I would advise to order your food early cause the service can be quite slow.

Nice place, lovely staff, cool atmosphere.

A little dated and some things could be improved (broken shower habdle, dust in room). Breakfast was full and tasty but dinner was so-so. They had a good drink selection.

Such a lovely place! Very clean, SUCH good food, a wonderful surprise!
Hot shower, spacious rooms, gorgeous decor, thoughtful touches- like good quality shampoo and conditioner :-) and a charging station in the room. Awesome breakfast, espresso machine.. great value for money. They even made us a takeaway lunch to bring with us.
