When we arrived the staff were having a outdoor meeting. They saw us waiting but it took them 45 minutes before someone came over to help us. The grounds were a little bit shabby. We were parked beside a big Tour Safari Truck who decided to start up his big diesel and fix his truck. We were left with a noisy and diesel smelling campsite for about an hour. Got the feeling nobody really cared about the grounds or their guests. Here again.

We booked to stay in a fully furnished room. The room was clean and comfortable. On arrival it was a but confusing because no one was there to meet us. The guards were super friendly and did the best they could with limited English. There was an old night club on the premises which operates as more of a bar. The staff didn't seem very welcoming. Also there is a nightclub up the road that could be heard to early hours of the morning (however we were told that it's illegal and they continue to complain to the authorities to have it shut down). All in all good value for money, guards are friendly and will even offer you their dinner and the lady at reception when we finally met her was lovely.

Camping site was flat but just average. Upgraded rooms were a very good value. The whole camp site had excellent wifi and hot showers. Didn't travel around city much so not sure on how central location is.

We thought that staying out of Arusha would be a little more quiet than staying in town and a bit cheaper! We were wrong on all accounts. The staff are some of the worst people I have ever met!!! I had the nerve to ask for just a piece of toast but they would only give me breakfast if I paid for the full bfast! (5USD) Getting a drink from the bar was like asking a big favor and the noisy bar which was empty except for the bar staff played loud music till 3 AM!
A joke of an establishment!

Worst place I have stayed in Africa by far!

Rooms mouldy, smelly, filthy and damp, staff were incredibly rude, unwilling to compromise and provide a reasonable price for the service on offer, in the end overcharging us compared to the agreed price, slow to serve customers in both the bar and at check out, woke us up at 1am and 6.30am to ask us when we were vacating the room - beyond rude!

The staff at the camp are very friendly and thoughtful. Me and my colleagues took 36 students for 3 weeks. Unfortunately one became very ill and was hospitalised, the staff were very supportive and did everything they could to accommodate our changing needs. The camp was clean and tidy, laundry returned the same day for a very good price. Would happily take students back again.

An easygoing, friendly and welcoming place. Arrived in a Land Rover travelling overland from Kenya and booked in without issue. Great facilities -very welcome hot showers, good food and bar. Stayed in the Land Rover's tent but the accommodation looked good and the shared cooking and dining facilities were fine. Narrowly missed a truckload of campers who could have made the place noisy but, hey, it's a travellers' camp. Looking forward to the next visit.
