Wifi is good. Spacious conference room, for a small group though. The environment is peaceful more so because the guesthouse is outside town. Clean rooms. I feel like the bathrooms are small though. The food is good especially lunch and supper. I remember this other day we had indigenous chicken for supper😋 the pool is alright. One gets a good view on Madonsa townships which is refreshing more especially in the morning

Very poor communication with customers. After paying the deposit none of my communication was ever responded to. Though the facility is nice, I would never use it again. Please improve on communication.

Our room was spacious and clean. Very friendly staff from reception, kitchen and cleaning staff. Please improve the quality of your menu and quantity. There was too much noise from some of your quests over the weekend.

One couple were assigned another room than booked, only 1 towel and 1 pillow. They brought another pillow and was told to just turn it around, because the one side was unusable. Taps fall off the walls; lace curtains torn; carpets dirty; curtain & hooks off the rail; some bedding still wet and drying in the room; mattresses worn out; Coffee table & kettle not close to any plug; walls dirty - even blood on one wall; towel rails fell off & left ugly moldy holes. The owner was never there to complain to!!! Terrible!!!

There are steps to the reception which are terribly slippery... I fell there till today I can't walk my legs are green I can't even stand my bums got affected my life is on stand still the owners don't take safety of their guests seriously because they know that people fall there. I will never go back and never recommend it to anyone till they fix their steps. If there is anyone planning to go with kids I'd advise him/her to cancel and look for a safer place or might go back home with serious medical conditions.

With the price charged, the facility should be able to provide free WiFi. There are no overhead showers in the room. I did not like the bath tub. Location is very good. There is need for more personalized service.

GOOD POINTS:

1. Staff Friendly
2. Rooms neat and tidy
3. Clean in general.

BAD POINTS:

1. Restaurant;
With a a la carte menu,If you don't like chicken, you eat pork chops, or pasta, NOTHING ELSE. We opted for chicken, our Half chicken portions were about 800grams each, if not 1kg. We waited 45 minutes for the meals.
You ask for a single expresso, they serve you Ricoffy in a big cup. They don't know how to operate an industrial coffee machine.

2. Rooms;

Because we are a couple, and there was only a twin bed room, they wanted to transfer us to a better room at another of their houses. We went there, the room was nice, and decided to stay. Bath time comes, NO HOT WATER. Only 1 bath towel for 2 of us. We were told to ask the security guard for one, which never came. As for dinner, if they take 45 minutes to serve us at their Restaurant, imagine how long it will take to serve us down the road. They then offered us at a different place further away. NO LIGHTS up the stairs and upper landing. Every drawer in this room had condoms. This room is ok if you want to be discreet with a lover, not for married couples. Came back to the main guest house. At this place, have a bath, not a shower, ( you open the hot water tap, and it falls off ). You sit on the toilet and the seat cover falls off. DONT go to room 13. !!!!!!
They say every room has WIFI, yes they do, at R30.00 for every 3 hours.

This was my personal experience at GLOBAL VILLAGE GUEST HOUSE in Swaziland.
If the Manager/ess is not on the premises, they will not call him/her.
After paying R960.00 for 1 night, i think we deserved better.

Thank you for reading this review, and next time you want to go there, THINK TWICE.

I choose the accommodation based on some critical factors such as availability of Wi-Fi internet. I decided to enjoy my business trip by booking a Luxury (executive) King suit. What an utter disappointment. In stead of the "Jacuzzi bath and shower, walk-in dressing room, work area and own balcony, flat screen satellite TV, Wi-Fi and Couch" that was stipulated in the booking form, there was not even a working toilet. All the rooms looked the same. The only addition in the room was a small fridge (no BAR). When they eventually moved me during the night to another room (after alerting 2 people at reception at 4 different times) all they offered was to move the small fridge to the other room. I did not see any room that contains any of the items they mentioned.
In order to use the internet you have to sit at reception or the very noisy restaurant. Although the staff is friendly little gets done. The restaurant food and service were very good.

We stayed here a few days.
On arrival, they had a function (fully booked, and we had booked prior to arrival). We were then moved to secondary Global Village (a minute away).
1. The intercom did not work. You have to wait outside and hoot for them to open (at times taking their sweet time).
2. There is supposed wifi, but it doesn't work. After calling, getting the code, they conveniently forgot to mention it does not work.
3. If you LOVE Al Jazeera, that is the ONLY channel that works.
4. Reception is at the main Global Village so you have to call them on your personal mobile. The phone did not work in our room, not sure of the others.

The ladies working at the secondary G.V, especially Khethiwe, went all out. They were always friendly, greeting with a huge smile and ensuring our stay was pleasant. They made the stay worth it. They were the best part of staying at Global Village.

On leaving, only then did I have issues with the reception leaking our personal information.

"Manzini is interestingly located. A few metres from the "suburb" where Global Village is, you find the village. I found it quite nice being exposed to the best of both worlds. The room from Global Village 2 we stayed in, had the balcony. I checked out the other rooms and none have as great a view. The one upstairs are the best. Downstairs, there is the issue of high walls, which ruin any chance of a view except the pool."
