The first night of our Sri Lankan travels were spent here. The room was ok but the bathroom stank of sewers. We went for a cocktail near and the pool and they didn't taste like the had any alcohol in them. For a tourist hotel, the staff didn't speak much English. We chose to eat

We stayed for the one night after flying in to Colombo. It really was not very good. Adequate for a night on the way to or from the airport but that is all. It is not that that there was anything very wrong with it, although the food was pretty uninspired, but there was nothing

Dear Ms roopsyk, Thank you for taking time to review your recent stay at the Camelot Beach Hotel,Negombo. I do believe that some of the facts seem to be misrepresented in your comments. When you arrived at the hotel the Reception had informed yourself s that there was no request or indication on the voucher for specific request of adjoining rooms made in advance. Believe that there was insistence .The booking was for two separate families not one.As the hotel was also full we were unable to fulfill your request. This was a mistake made when booking the room or the travel agent didn't communicate to the Camelot Beach Hotel. The Front Office Manager was informing you off the same. Please be good enough to write to me on GM@Camelot.lk so that a satisfactory explanation can be arrived at for the inconvenience caused if needed.. Reza Sinnen.
