A boutique style hotel within the Galle fort....a great find.
After a warm and friendly greeting we were shown to our room, Just one of i believe 8 rooms.
A pleasant sized room with a four poster bed, tv and storage. the shower room was of a good size and stocked with the usual towels and toiletries.
Although no evening meal is available here there no shortage of near by restaurants to choose from....we ate at the kitchen restaurants just a short walk away.
Breakfast is served, and plenty of it. the usual juice, tea/ coffee, then a fruit platter, followed by a cooked breakfast, toast with preserves, and yoghurt.... a great start to the day.
The location is great as it's within the walled fort, all within the fort is easily accessed on foot though tuk tuks are readily available if required.

We stayed here for 2 nights and loved this hotel. Our room had a sea view which was fantastic and the location of the hotel was great. As soon as we walked into the room you could see and smell how clean it was which gave us an instant boost of confidence in the place which we didn't have everywhere. The bed is big and comfortable and the shower is fantastic. Also good WiFi and aircon
There were powercuts across Sri Lanka during our stay but this hotel has a generator so we had no issues. Breakfast was tasty, and service was polite and attentive. Served in the courtyard area which was also clean and pleasant.
Galle Fort is a nice area, a little more expensive compared to other cities or outside the Fort, but this meant it was quieter and not buzzing with traffic/buses/tuktuks/scammers

Fort Bliss is a bangalow in the Dutch fort which i beleive is 300 years old , but very well maintained. The building and its infra are so nice, that it realy gives you feeling of colonial era. The choice of furniture is also immbeccable. They have 5 rooms, 2 in ground fllor and 3 on top. the location is amazing situated at a distance of 300 m from Galle light house. The room size are large and provided with bsic amenties and the caretaker Mr. Sunil was awesome with his service. The breakfast was limited however it was made as per our requirement. Infact we also made certian dish in their kitchen , so it was a very pleasant expereince staying in the house. While we stayed for 1 night, but it was extremly satifying and i will rate this stay very high, and defintely value for money

Stayed in this beautiful colonial home, consisting of 3 bedrooms on the top floor and 1 ground floor twin room, for just 1 night. We were welcomed by Sunil and asked what time we would like to have breakfast the following morning. Room was compact and clean. No tea making facilities, but we were kindly made some tea, which we took in the outdoor area. Breakfast was a lovely fruit platter, followed by a choice of cooked breakfast or simply toast. We were allowed to store our bags, whilst we explored Old Galle Town.

We really enjoyed our stay in Fort Bliss. The hotel is absolutely charming (with our room overlooking the ramparts) and our hosts took great care of us. They cooked a very good breakfast, were very prompt to offer us a cup of tea in the afternoon and offered kindly a late checkout.

Stayed at the Fort Bliss for one night during our stay in Galle. Brilliantly situated in the centre of the town and our room overlooking okey the sea. Great welcome and we couldn’t fault the facilities. Wonderful hot shower at to cap it all we had the most delicious breakfast- probably one of the best during our stay in Sri Lanka. Great coffee, an enormous plate of fruit, eggs of your choice- omelette for me- toast, preserves and yoghurt, should you wish. Recommend this place to everyone.

My Dad and I stayed here for two nights as part of a 16 night trip to Sri Lanka. We had a twin room on the ground floor, which was lovely and clean. Excellent water pressure and comfortable beds. During our trip, there were power cuts, but the property had a generator, so that was no problem. The location is excellent, great if you want to walk to most places. The friendly, hospitable staff and the delicious breakfast were the highlights of our stay! The chef beautifully presented the fruit, and the omelette was the best I've ever had.

Beautiful old house in a quiet street of Galle Fort. The hotel has only a few rooms, which makes the place intimate and homey. Our room was large, with a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The beautiful dark wooden furniture adds to the colonial atmosphere. Despite that, we found the room not very cozy (empty and bare), with only one window to the outside. Outside our room was a nice, small sitting area. Breakfasts were huge and tasty. Staff was very friendly and attentive, really doing their best making you feel at home. We definitely would stay here again. Recommended!

Our stay at Fort Bliss was such a memorable one. Everything was perfect. Starting from the welcome process, overall service, food, accommodation, and amenities were all in top standard above the money value. We have to make a very special recommendation about the outstanding service provided by Mr. Sunil during our stay. His excellent service made the stay further special. The day we check out Mr. Imran was at the service and he too was very good at looking after guests on a personalized way. Hope to be back again.

We had a good stay at Fort Bliss Galle. The villa, which is a heritage building itself, is located inside Galle Fort and within walking distances to attractions and restaurants. The room is spacious and comfortable. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, as they helped us to arrange transportation from Galle to our next destination. Breakfast provided and consists of a big plate of tropical fruits, eggs, sausages and toasts. Would definitely stay here again in my next visit.
