I'm enjoyed! The room was clear and there was really a lot of space. Also I likes breakfasts, I have to say about the host and his family. They are really good people and want to help you, if you have a question or request, they talk in Hebrew, English, Arabic...all we know that's the language is a problem for the tourists. Language border is a disaster. But here you will like at home, and even more. I recommend this house
We stayed in the guesthouse for one night, our experience was great, the room was big enough for us with two kids, the breakfast was above our expectations, the guesthouse is extremely clean, very nice the stuff is very polite and helpful, the guesthouse is about 5 minutes walking to the church and to the old market, extremely recommended
We are a family with 2 kids. We came for 1 night and had a great experience. The rooms were clean and big, the host were great and welcoming and the location is ideal. In addition, the breakfast was very nice.
No words are needed other than- there are false good ratings for this place!! Had I known I wouldn't have paid over 100 shekels for such a place. The bathroom faucet is not hooked up, the shower head fell on us as we took our shower, and the toilet never stopped making noises. The rooms are small and a scaffold is outside the window so keys to your room won't do you any good in terms of keeping your belongings. The entrance is a badly constructed joke, with things that had already should have been tauced aside. This places only advantage is its location, everything else is terrible.
Great simple and nagical place. Great value for the cheap prize, cute yard and atmosphere. Perfect location, very nice and available hosts and the breakfast was beyond expectations! Only keep in mind that you have to park 2 min walk from the place and it cost 45nis per day.
The place is conveniently located in the old city in a close proximity to several places of interest: church I’d annunciation, church of St. Gabriel, Synagogue Church. The guest house is clean, staff — a husband and wife, very friendly. Room is big enough — there were three of us there, beds are comfortable. Breakfast was decent, however they do not have any coffee maker, just cooler with cold and hot water, tea bags, instant and grounded coffee. They just put coffee in the cup and pour hot water for both regular and instant coffee, that is a traditional way, but I did not like it. But there are plenty of places around where you can get a good cup of freshly made coffee and pita for just a few $$. There is no TV there, but they have WIFi and you can stream a movie if you wish…
Location is great and breakfast was better than expected. Again, like in many other accommodations around this region, furniture is from another era. Beds, mattresses and wardrobes need a change. Also bathrooms need a reform. Staff was ok and our check-in took them a long time.
I hate to write a negative review because the location is in a nice part of town and there was free parking, but feel that in this case it's necessary and warranted. Booked for two nights and was very disappointed with the degree of cleanliness and the quality of the room, especially given the price. The bed was two single-beds pushed together, with springs pressing out of the mattresses; the towels and sheets hadn't been cleaned properly before being re-used; there was hair on the pillows and dirty floors, and black mold lined the ceilings etc. Not to mention, the paper-thin walls made it particularly unpleasant to hear other people's conversations, toilets flushing, and kids crying through the night. If this had been a youth hostel -- and the corresponding price -- we would have been let down, but somewhat deserving. But frankly, the lack of energy spent in making this place hospitable was unacceptable. Perhaps in another era it was a nice place, worth the money. Try somewhere else until they get their act together.…
I've been there with friends on the 8th of August 2018. we had booked 5 different types of room for a total of 12 people. I had asked for a economy room with garden view. other for a 5 beds room with balconade and city view. it all turned out to be a nightmare.... Finding the place is already very difficult but it is int he old city and it could have some value. The gardener not a real garden but a courtyard filled with strange contraptions and color light bulbs. But his is not really the issue. The manager immediately wanted to gather the group in the foyer and started explaining the city and the things we should do.. it was strange but it could have been a way of welcoming guest. Only when he started showing us the rooms we understood the stalling. The rooms we had asked were absolutely disgusting: my economy double with garden view was a small (3X2mt) room created from the space under a staircase. one bed and a tiny tint window (the door opened directly in the "garden" so I think that that was the idea of the garden view). The room for 5 was one room with a large double bed and then a much smaller room ( a kind of closet) where there were 3 beds, no A/C and no window. The other rooms were a bit better but not much. I forgot to mention the bathroom. Ion my room it was so small that I was not able to enter. Shower is part of the bathroom itself and does not have a door. The other bath were more or less the same. Considering that we had asked for different rooms we set out to try to get any least a discount. Once we stated the discussion the manager got very angry and at a certain pint refused to speak with some us at all. He asked for the full payment which we told him we would pay only after he had given us a receipt. This took 3 hours and he eventually face us a receipt only after we called the police.…
Booked for one night because of location to bus to Amman, (good location overall in old city) easy walk to main attractions. I rented a car from Tel Aviv, when got to old city driving there was CHAOS, narrow streets, up and down, lots of backing up, so decided to get out of there and go return car and take taxi back, no cab wanted to drive there, finally got someone to take me and the ride was very easy but drivers get spooked by location because of roads. Owner met us a block away because no vehicles get to place, was very helpful with luggage, extremely friendly. It's a guest house, so don't compare it to a Hilton, room was clean, comfortable, you pay cash in advance, good breakfast the next morning, they let us have it before it was completely ready because we had to leave early. Very happy with my stay, the neighborhood is very safe to walk around at night even if dark and empty. Recommend this guest house for budget travelers.…
