As a Tour guide, I was there with a German group and they loved the hotel, the food, and the service. rooms are fine, the dinning room is clean and nice. Food was very good and the staff members were very polite and willing to help
The name Tabar is well known in the African travel market, so using their hotel in Nazareth was to have been a pleasure... unfortunately it was not. I was amazed to to be told my group of 50+ were the only ones staying in the hotel during a busy season.. i soon found out why... 1. my room on the 5th floor was horrible, im 5.7 but my head almost touched the ceiling when in the bath tub, 2. the room looked as if it had not been visited by a human in ages... A/C fixtures hanging out of the wall. 3. cleaning was done to the point of eye focus.. 4. horrible smell of wet carpet all over the floor... i had to open the balcony door and leave it open all night every night for ventilation to clear the smell.. 5. 90 rooms, group hotel, one elevator is inadequate. Staff were very helpul and professional (thumbs up) Manager, I think its Sammy was a great host, thanks. food was great, thanks chef...and team. even with this... im sorry Tabar, i will not be returning. Question... as a tour operator and hotel operator i believe you should have been full... i met a lot of pilgrims from your tour operations...why were they not in your hotel?…
Very old hotel and bad smelling The door doesnt work properly în The rooms you cannot close it on The inside Very poor Lunch and dinner Insects oll over The place Avoid at any cost horrible not safe and bad food
The room itself was OK. The best part of the rooms were the views and the balcony. The worst part was that it wasn't clean (cockroaches..). Sheets were not changed. The room key would keep deactivating. the lights would flicker frequently. The hotel claims to have WiFi, but it is only in the lobby. We couldn't get WiFi coverage in our rooms. The breakfast was terrible. It consisted of mostly boiled hot dogs, shake and bake eggs, hard boiled eggs, and bread. The location was not good. It is up on a mountain so you get good views, but it ends up being a 30-40 minute walk to the city center, and there are no taxis that frequently drove near the hotel. The overall service was terrible (if not racist). They were always unhelpful. When asking for a taxi I received responses like "I don't have the number" or "Just go to the street and find one." When checking out they tried to charge me a higher rate than agreed upon. Do yourself a favor a spend the extra $100/night on the Ramada inn.…
It is a good place, the room was very clean, very good food, location not bad, its like 15minites walkin to the old city,, good choise for guest ho wants a good price for nice place............ I have to say that the team in the hotel was very helpful
