This lovely hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood in Jaffa about 10 minute walk from al the main attractions. Very comfortable.
The service here is fabulous: started with my request a few days before arrival to check in and get the room early. The response was that they can't promise but will do their best. We got to the hotel at 08:30 on Sunday morning and the room was ready for us.
Every thing we asked for was taken care of immediately by the very efficient front desk staff.
Guests have a 24 hours a day self served Coffee from an espresso machine, snacks, fruit Etc. Very nice and can actually save the need to go out for food.
The Breakfast was just perfect and had more than you need with a daily diversity. They even offered falafel.
The room: we had a comfortable king size bed and enough room left. The room was clean and was cleaned with efficiency. The shower is actually built for two and there is no curtain (you can get one if you ask). A lovely lovers nest.
There is a nice sized balcony that has a beautiful urban view.

Without even a little doubt: recommended!! We will come back!

This hotel has an excellent location in Old Jaffa that makes it very easy to walk to lots of tourist locations. The room was large and beautifully decorated. The shower had two waterfall shower heads, which was fantastic. The bed was large and comfortable.
The hotel offered free snacks and drinks throughout the day, including coffee and wine. Breakfast was freshly made and offered a variety of choices. The hotel staff was friendly but hit and miss on helpfulness. Some went out of their way to answer questions and get information, others simply told us to come back later when a different staff member was on duty.
The only problem we had with this hotel was the noise. It is located right near where major construction is going on in Jaffa to add a light rail system. However, even discounting the construction, when inside the room we could clearly hear the conversations from next door or from people walking by on the street. This made it difficult to sleep.
Overall, we were very happy with this hotel.

I know Jaffa pretty well and usually stay with friends but with friends arriving from London we chose this hotel. We couldn't have chosen better.. an absolutely fantastic small hotel. Our room was comfortable, spacious and quiet with a balcony and very central being a few minutes walk from the old centre but not bang in the middle (keeping it quiet). Hotel had a good ambience inside and outside.. outside few potted lemon trees in a little garden and inside a comfortable dining room which had available free drinks and snacks all day and evening (including wine). The breakfast was superb; the chef absolutely surpassed anything we had expected, The usual Israeli breakfast with some amazing additions (shaksouka/bourekas/spinach dishes/ eggs/ yoghourts and hot salads... honestly just so much) It was all super tasty and I'd go back just for the breakfast. We absolutely loved it and I will most definitely be recommending. There was a shop right next door too which was handy.

The Margosa Hotel was our first stop immediately after we arrived at the airport in Israel. Traveling with my adult son, we were given separate, private rooms in the far corner of the hotel, next to each other but conveniently located away from other guests. Our rooms were both updated and clean with modern bathroom facilities. From the 2nd floor balconies, we were directly above the main street, which came to life quite early the following morning, but was quiet throughout the night until Call to Prayer. Margosa Hotel is situated in the perfect location, near restaurants and a walkable distance to the historic sites and Jaffa Port. Breakfast was absolutely exceptional! Offering an overabundance of delicious local delicacies, it was a great introduction to Mideastern cuisine. Dining is available both inside and within the vintage hotel's courtyard. Complimentary wine was available upon arrival as well as a complimentary coffee and tea station. Extremely welcoming and friendly staff, I would highly recommend this boutique hotel for your upcoming visit. The Margosa is rated 3 stars, but felt more like 4 stars.

We cannot fault this small boutique hotel. From the minute we arrived the staff made a special effort to make our stay extremely pleasant.

Housekeeping was second to none, front of house could not do enough for us and the breakfast was plentiful, full of choice and delivered with a smile each morning by the very attentive chef and staff.

I would definitely return to Tel Aviv and most definitely return to this hotel, which I might add was in easy access of the port, the beach and other attractions.

Perfect !!!!

We've stayed in luxury hotels all over the world but this cozy, friendly, hospitable hotel is our new favorite. Our room has a large bedroom and separate living room with beautiful wood plank floors and arched windows, complete with excellent blackout shades. A fully stocked breakfast room has delicious pastries, drinks, and snacks, almost all free of charge. The staff is kind and helpful. There is also a pretty patio with tables, chairs, and awnings to protect from rain or sun. Parking is available at a very reasonable rate but the hotel is a short walk from the town center, full of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, as well as a great flea market plus upscale stores of every kind. I simply cannot say enough great things about Hotel Margosa!

I stayed 4 nights at Margosa Hotel on a business trip. My local partners recommended this hotel, and we got a discounted rate. With this rate, the hotel was a very good value for money. On a full price, I would say the value for money is average in comparison with Tel Aviv standards.
The hotel is very nice and well located in the heart of Yaffa: you will be able to reach the port, the flea market, the clock tower in max 10 minutes walking. The size of the rooms is just fine, and rooms are well equipped with everything you need. Breakfast is good. The courtyard is lovely.
Staff is extremely nice, supportive and trying to meet your needs.
The main drawback is the noise from the streets in the neighbour: even if the hotel itself is not on a busy street, motorbikes and cars are noisy and can be heard very well all night long. That unfortunately compromised the quality of my sleep.

we stayed for a one-night holiday in Tel Aviv. We enjoyed our stay very much - perfect location near all the sights in Jaffa,, yet on a quiet corner; lovely room, pleasant help, reasonable price. Hotel Margosa is a small but beautiful boutique hotel in Yaffo area - Tel Aviv Israel. The staff are lovely - big shout out to Roman and Shachar. Parking is a bit tough but if no street parking, you can pay about 50 shekel for keeping the car in underground parking of the hotel. The rooms are beautiful and updated. We were even treated with a bottle of wine in celebration of our weding anniversary :) . We had a lovely view on the fourth floor (note, the elevator goes up to 3rd floor only). You can hear the Arabs calling out on loudspeakers for their evening service from the balcony.
Decor is beautiful (occasionally a floor in a hallway that's a bit dated looking but clean and lovely) and 24 hour available coffee iced coffee and croissants is fantastic! The breakfast is not large but has truly everything we were looking for (a few salads, some nice baked goods, cooked vegetables, great coffee machine, omelet stand).
Lovely quiet ambience.
Fantastic!

It may be different to hire a Mtl bike in Jaffa but if you car hire a regular bike there you should feel comfortable riding up and does the boardwalk that runs along the Jaffa/Tel Aviv Coast. I would not suggest bike riding into the city of Tel Aviv. I suggest you google bike riding in Israel or google bicycle rentals and riding in Israel as I’d imagine there are various country and mountain roads where regular and mountain biking is possible. You just do not want to ride on busy Israeli streets.
