Lovely place. We stayed for 3 weeks here and had a wonderful experience. The place is in a Very good location in the center of Ubud and at the same time is quiet. The garden is Very nice. The Family and staff are so lovely, friendly and take really good care of clients. Breakfast is good. Room cleaning service every day. They keep changing bedsheets and towels. Good price for scooter rental. Always checking on us for anything we may need. Checking on us when we got sick with fever, asking if we had medicines or need anything. Room was confortable. For sure we Will come back Next time we are in Ubud. Thank you so much to the Family and the Guy Who takes care of the cleaning.

When we arrived in Ubud we had no idea of where to stay. We started by the palace as a central point then walked a short while up and this was the first home stay we came across. The staff/family were very friendly and showed us to a comfortable room for 250,000 a night. Hot water, comfy beds, delicious breakfast served to you on the front porch of your room. We could park our scooters on the road out front and it was just a short walk to the centre. Would recommend!

Really good value for the money. Big bungalows in a garden, with bathtub, some nice bamboo furniture and good beds. The included breakfast omelette was delicious and the family friendly and helpful. Overall bagus experience.

Sinarta offered a clean, calm and ordered area of rooms separate from the main homestay, around a delightful garden. The family is attentive and always friendly, and their pride in the place is evident. A wonderful stay, marred only by a particularly vocal rooster from across the street whose distinctive, strangled, cries seemed to broadcast directly into our space throughout the day. May he soon join the cooking pot! (A note: in Ubud the roosters are ubiquitous - in the end your only option is to find the ones whose noises are dampened, somehow, till a more reasonable time!)

We had a lovely experience staying here. Its a standard home stay with no frills, what you see is what you get. The family were lovely and caring. The rooms were cleaned daily and a flask of hot water was provided for tea & coffee during the day. Breakfast was served at you room Terrence each morning. The banana pancakes were great!

A friend of mine recommended Sunarta for my first trip to Ubud, and I really enjoyed my stay. The family is very nice and accommodating. A hot water thermos with tea and coffee was replenished each morning on my private porch, ready for drinking. Breakfast is also provided and delivered to your porch/room. Perfection. The grounds are peaceful as it's set back from the road, although the street isn't very busy anyway. It's a quick five minute walk to Ubud Palace in the center of town, so the location couldn't be more convenient. My only critiques are small ones. There is no top sheet on the bed; only a quilt. I have a sleep sack that I used, but it would've been nicer to have a sheet. There's also no mosquito net, so I got bit a few times. Closing the door to the bathroom (which is open to the outside) definitely helped, but a few buggers still slipped in. However, even despite those things, I would definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunarta Homestay. The owners were very pleasant and also run bicycle and motorcycle rental just outside. The location is great, an easy 5-10 minute walk to the main street in Ubud. We had a very nice little cottage, roomy with a fan. We had our own porch with outdoor seating and the room was cleaned every single day. The shower was hot and there were western toilets in the bathroom. We had originally decided to just find a place when we got to Ubud, and quickly found many booked or overpriced. Sunarta was very well priced and we were very happy to stay there for a week.
