We were 5 families planned for day out and got to know about Royal Orchid Resort located in yelahanka. ,as it located at nice location and reviews were good .so contacted the property visited .
we reached there at 1pm.
We were welcomed by a welcome drink and followed by delicious lunch with various option like fish/mutton/chicken and many more.
there were few veg dishes that were very authentic and tasty which we miss these days.
mushroom was missing which i gave a feedback to add in their menu.
After that we had nice hang out in the lawn and there are many activities available to spend some time like archery/football/cricket/paint ball.
Most importantly the swimming pool was very nicely maintained which is surrounded by palm trees which makes it even special. .
we were with small kids so wanted to have nice day our objective achieved .
I should not forget to mention and Thank the Manager at the resort Mr Ajay Kumar , he is indeed a gentle man ,starting from receiving us till high tea he was there to serve us .

Its a comparatively smaller resort but the facilities are decent enough for a good time. Our day started off with buffet Breakfast at the restaurant – Verve. From South Indian to a few continental dishes, it was a good fare to garner energy for a fun day ahead. Post Breakfast, there are a few lawns where some team activities can be carried out. There are other amenities like Badminton Court, Table Tennis, Carrom, Chess, Volley Ball, Archery and Swimming that one can use.
There were also other paid games like Paint Ball which can be fun to try out too but we did not the day we went. The place can get crowded and the wait time can be more if they overbook, which we started experiencing because there were 2 more corporates that had opted the same day to enjoy too. As a result though the food during lunch was good, most of it was cold and the buffet refill took a while. The place is nearby for people in Bangalore North and a deviation from the International airport road. They also have another restaurant – 9th mile Dhaba which I’ve heard from people that the food is really good, unfortunately again, it was not a day that we could dine-in here but it sounds perfect for a family dinner !
There are also rooms available for a stay, the car parking was near some of the cottages and seemed like a good option. The children’s play area was not up-to the mark though, all the slides and games were rusted and dirty and seemed rarely used which can put off families with kids.Service was ok but can be better. Give it a try !

Nice location near the Airport I stayed here for 1N, arriving late at night. The advantage of this property is the location which is around 20 minutes drive away from Bangalore airport. This is helpful if you have work on the outskirts of the city and don't need to enter the city. I used the room essentially only to stay the night, so can't comment much on other facilities of the resort I ate at an in-house dining place called the 'Dhaba' and I must admit the food wasn't all that great. But since it was already 11PM at night, I didn't have any option. Also beware, you can't really look around for options outside the resort as it is practically in the middle of nowhere. The room itself was nice and comfortable, except for the noisy window Air-Cons. Also the controls on the AC were broken and I couldn't manage the controls well The breakfast was good and the front desk was nice and helpful. A good option to spend the night close to the airport

The resort accommodation is average with large rooms but just ok bed linen and towels..some bathroom fittings were broken(but working). Even the tv transmission was getting interrupted most of the time. Only good thing that I found about this place was the restaurant and food(buffet)....food is costly but tasty with lots of options. They have a decently large kids play area with lot of options but unfortunately those are less maintained and old and rusted. So sad to find that they don't consider young kids as their prospective/valuable customers. Swimming pool is closed as usual like everywhere due to covid. Some indoor/outdoor games options are there. Even though sanitizer is kept at the entrance, no temperature check and they allow as many bookings as possible even during this covid pandemic. You can play at the indoor/outdoor games at your own risk. If you just want to sit in the balcony and just relax sightseeing/chit-chat and also in the bathtub, go for it. I won't recommend this place if you are traveling with young kids.

We enjoyed our stay not far from the city well maintained vicinity with loads of empty space for kids to play around. Pretty good buffet spread, employees are friendly and the service was good, especially the house keeping folks wear a smile and address a call very well. Even during these unprecedented times service was good, decent covid measures were taken to keep the guest safe.

I was tasked with identifying a location to conduct a wedding reception for about 100 people and I had a few venues in my mind. Based on multiple factors, I zeroed in on Royal Orchid Yellahanka and it was an amazing experience. Both bride's and bridegroom's families stayed there for 3-4 days and they had a wonderful experience. Lot of open space and plush greenery made the stay very comfortable.
Kids and adults enjoyed the table soccer, badminton and other game facilities alike.
Regarding the food - we had the regular buffet on one evening and customized dinner on another evening. The buffet spread is good and the food is very tasty.
One other thing I liked about the space is availability of ample parking.
Only one thing I found lacking at the place is driver amenities. It would be nice if they could provide facilities for drivers staying overnight.
Overall, a very positive experience. Special thanks to the GM Mr. Anup Nair and the Sales Manager Ms Jayashree who made our stay and reception arrangements very comfortable.

This was our second visit. We had a 3 months old baby with us, thus were skeptical to try out a new resort, wanted to stay at a resort which was known to us,. The decision paid off and again we had a wonderful experience. Front desk members ( Abdul and Avijit ) were very helpful in helping us select a room which was comfortable enough for 3 adults and a baby.
Food quality and ambience of 9th mile restaurant was also superb. We had a great time.
Breakfast had varieties of food options, Raj kumar from the breakfast service was very kind and cheerful.
Overall i absolutely loved the Resort and i will certainly stay again.
P.S - i will request hotel management to look into the bed/ spring mattress of Room 211, this was the only thing which was not comfortable for me.

We were there from 13 - 15 Jan. This property is in good location, very spacious and easy for a quick staycation but definitely not 4 start standard.
Room : We paid for Superior room which is 1.5 k more charged than Delux but we had to finally stay in Delux as Superior rooms are very dirty, clumpsy and not maintained / cleaned. We didn't have the refund :(
Food : Most of the items on menu are not available as as Shef was absent..we had to survived in fry / junk lunch and dinner . We asked for extra salt but they fail to provide in 3 consecutive orders. 15% discount given on food but charged service tax and 15% GST even on tea which over the normal food price. Anyways any food is 3 times costlier here
Room Service : We found many patches on the bed / covers / dusty pillows. Finally they changed after multiple follow up. But we didn't get shower gell for the next day.
Pool : Not managed well. We tried to go to the pool but found that visitors are eating food / feast , taking their luggage and sitting whole family wearing formal outfits. They can carry germs , so we didn't go to pool out of fear. No pool instructions are followed
Gym : Super Dirty
Breakfast: Good.
Overall, one can go there without having any star level expectations.

A hotel that's called "Royal" only in its name, doesn't live up to basic expectations. A convention centre which keeps the hotel entirely busy. Check-in formalities take 45 mins, a lift that was dysfunctional for 2 days of stay (apparently due to the wedding guests to reduce wear and tear.. Wow) inspite of me stating my mother had a knee problem and us having a toddler, rooms on the 2nd floor; booked 2 rooms and was promised an upgrade; NO WATER BOTTLES, please drink our bottled RO Water, wow, (for 5k a room) and absolutely shoddy bell boy service inspite of no lifts. And after all, basics of Wi-fi didn't work or connect, inspite of asking front desk repeatedly. A disaster if you'd like to be more disappointed, please stay here. The room itself was terrible, bathrooms unclean and smelly. In all, DISGUSTING experience. I have voiced my feedback to the GM, yet to get a call. Please stay at your own risk, this is a warning to other travelers. However, Restaurant service with Alok and others at Verve were worth-noting.
