I’ve stayed in Room #318 for two nights. I had a lovely, great and magnificent stay. They have got a huge room, very spacious and clean, spotless and upstanding room. This property is quite old, but very well maintained and polished. They have taken care even for microscopic details also for the Guests comfort, whether in the washroom or in the Bedroom. This is a huge property and have a great location, and the whole property has been well maintained. Even during this Pandemic times, they have got great Breakfast Buffet spread. The Service Staff were all very helpful, but slow. This Property deserved an “EXCELLENT” Ratings, but because of the following reasons, I’m not able to do so. I hope the Management do take notice of the below mentioned observations: Few of the service Staff dresses during the Breakfast Buffet was quite untidy, and they looked like they have just woken up for their respective duties. I’ll stay again.

I had a great stay in this friendly hotel. There were many small issues, all or which were attended to immediately (e.g., defective safe was replaced with a new one; desk lamp was faulty and was repaired twice, the second time with success; the iron and ironing board were missing from the wardrobe, and were supplied on request; the wardrobe doors would on close if there were clothes on the hangers, but fortunately I had brought cheap wire hangers from home). You might want to bring your own face flannel (face washer) as none is provided. Despote these little glitches, I would definitely choose to stay at The Chancery Pavilion again.

I stayed here whilst attending a wedding. Just across the street to the Bengaluru Club and many other places to visit and party. Hotel is clean, staff incredibly friendly and helpful - had a last minute tailoring to be done for my sari. Sharania and Atashi were very helpful I’m wrapping the sari and the room was well attended by the host (Shamesh, I think his name was). Also, the food was great and the chef even made me a favourite dessert which was not on the menu.
There is also a really good bar on the roof. Amazing view by night snd great food as well as cocktails.

Good Points 1) Location 2) Breakfast spread 3) Room size Things to improve 1) Check in takes lot of time. 2 to 3 forms to be filled like olden days 2) You have to stand inside bath tub to take a shower or bath. Awkward at least for me. 3) Room tariff is very reasonable for that location. But food is star rated. One small bowl of Dal costs Rs 475/- 4) Menu in the Restaurant is very limited & costly. Quality is good. 5) TV is there with limited free channels. After request NDTV 24X7 was given. 6) Every day I had to ask for bath soap. Only one bath soap per day is kept by House keeping for Two persons

The moment you enter the room it smells of dirt. It so happens you CAN expect better from hotel, as I later discovered Tub was dirty. It is an indication that water will not drain properly. I called for help. None came After several back and forths on the phone on the subject of "what is the difference between single occupancy and double occupancy when the room we are getting is the same", I discovered that after specifying double occupancy I still had to ask for another toothbrush, towel, soap etc. Huge deal about giving complimentary breakfast. They want Rs. 500 more for breakfast. I paid room rent of $72. At the time of this writing the rent is $31. I should have used an app for selecting my hotel. They insisted on ID proof. Luckily they accepted digital copy. Staff were OK. Synopsys: probably worth the $31. Not more. If they are not giving free breakfast to hell with them - look elsewhere,

The highlights of this hotel are the outstanding service but people who seem to take pleasure in their work. The restaurant provided a larger than could be possibly envisioned; the food was traditional Southern Indian food with several western offerings (like omelets and crepes). This dining facility was definitely a 5 star experience. Likewise the front desk staff. Our luggage was lost by Air France for several days. The efforts by people who worked there made a monumental effort to track the bags and kept us informed of the progress. Our room was fine but not outstanding. It was a bit too small and a bit cluttered. We will return to this hotel when we visit again

I held my daughters wedding ceremony at The Indian Affair, The Chancery Paviion, on 16 Jan 2020 followed by lunch. The Hotel provided outstanding support and all the arrangements were of the highest standard. The staff were very responsive and guided us through the entire planning process, including selection of menu and decor arrangements. The response to last minute changes and additional requirements was excellent. The staff were always smiling, ever helpful and responded with great professionalism to our entire satisfaction. The Head Chef personally guided us through a tasting session where we were able to select the dishes and he agreed to our requests to modify them as per our taste. The food on the final day was outstanding and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed the tasty food and the great ambience of the poolside venue. A special word of thanks to Pratibha KM who looks after Banquets and guided us through the entire planning and the event.

Chancery Pavillion is a nice property located at an excellent location but some issues like lack of proper electrical points at room, unfriendly reception and travel desk frustrated us. But all frustrations were wiped off by the excellent service and care of the restaurant staff. Especially Rajitha was a very caring host at the restaurant who made us feel very comfortable.
