Entry: tall modern skyscraper building overlooking the race course
Size: large sized property.
Location: opposite the race course so prime location. Higher floors facing the race course are the rooms to look out for. The view is to die for!
Check in: very quick. Very accommodating staff. Requested a room with a view and they were more than willing to help. Special mention Mr. Sai at the front desk: very polite and understanding and super helpful.
Check out: quick efficient
Staff: VERY polite and nice.
Common areas: very modern interiors and well maintained.
Rooms: the only issue is that room size is small — because this was originally an express property.
But they make up for it with tasteful interiors, spotless maintenance. For a solo traveller the room size is more than enough. The washroom are big and don’t feel cramped at all.
Washroom: good size. Shower area was large. Shower pressures could have been better. Only hand shower was present. Quality of the amenities provided was excellent.
Ironing board was already available in the room.
The mini bar was stocked with things to munch available in the room.
Food: FOOD IS TO DIE FOR! excellent! Fantastic spread. Bakery was vegetarian and eggless (which is rare to find!). Very tasty food.
The chef Mr Pankaj took personal care and helped with eggless pancakes. Customised the size to my needs and it felt so amazing. Hats off to the hospitality — it felt like I was the only guest, such VIP treatment.
Mr. Hirak served with a smile — and very caring of the needs during the breakfast.
In room dining: available 24 hours.

I stayed for two nights in the hotel. It was good and during the covid time, good measures were taken for the safety of guests, like adequate sanitizatizers everywhere, sanitization of luggage, etc. Even front desk staff on duty were nice, including the security guard on duty. Room also had a great view of the race course, though room is small and not very spacious. Overall a great stay.

My family (both of us and our son) stayed at the property for 2 nights.
The rooms while small (cannot accommodate triple sharing), were very comfortable and furnished with everything that we could need.
The gave us adjacent rooms and all requests were attended to immediately.
The staff was extremely friendly - at front desk, housekeeping as well as the restaurant.
Breakfast was a wonderful spread and the team took care of all your needs and were available when you wanted them.
The location of the hotel is very central and they have parking, which is a huge plus.
The only thing that they could improve on - a little more elbow grease in the bathrooms... There is some deep cleaning needed....
Overall, we would definitely stay here again and again....

We booked the queen premium room with balcony, the room's carpet was filled with stains and they did not provide us with the amenities/toiletries prior to us checking in to the room. We had to keep calling them and asking them to give us the bare minimum. The food was average. The rooms are very small and it can get a little suffocating. The housekeeping team came in between to check if there's any expired products in the mini fridge, they are ideally supposed to do this before the guests checks in. I honestly wouldn't recommend... Atleast the rooms could be more hygienic like they claimed it to be.

Although I am writing this a little late after my stay in this hotel for more than a month; it would not be fair if I do not write a review.
This hotel is centrally located and easily accessible to the central business district by Ola/Uber incase you do not have your own transport.
The rooms were spacious and my view to the race course was really a soothing sight every morning. The room was also having all amenities needed for a corporate traveler like tea/coffee maker, ironing board and a good wi-fi connection.
The lobby was undergoing renovation during my stay and eventually opened up with a refurbished one during the Ganesh festival.
The coffee shop was serving good breakfast with lot of options; so was the dinner buffet.
Overall a very good stay with lot of courteous staff at the coffee shop. In this month long stay, I would like to recognize few staff members who went out of their way to provide excellent service.
Nithil in specific was my go to person as he was the one who used to come to me from anywhere in the restaurant to check if everything was alright.
Even though I met Chef Naveen a little later during my stay, he was a savior. I was really bored of eating the usual stuff and was missing home cooked food. Every evening, Chef Naveen used to approach and ask what should be prepared as per my liking. I felt this was a very genuine and caring gesture by him. Thank you Chef Naveen for all the courtesies provided.
Last but not the least, I thought this guy was the busiest on my floor; Deepak from the Housekeeping team who used to service my room daily. He understood my pattern of having green tea and coffee and promptly the tea coffee chest was filled with those extra sachets and extra water bottles! Same was for the bathroom amenities.. I could come to know the day Deepak has not serviced my room (he might be on his day off) when these small gestures were not done on a particular day!
The downside in the service that I thought was that I being the long stay of the hotel; I anticipated that someone from the higher management would meet and ask for the feedback of my stay. However, not even the restaurant/F&B managers, front office or S&M did come and meet. Have seen many other hotels of this category do this very efficiently including introduction to the GM.
This is a very crucial part for any guest to decide on the future stays at the hotel!

I have stayed in Holiday Inn Racecourse for more than 8 months. It was pleasure staying in the property. Entire management and staff is deeply involved in delivering wow experience to the customer.
I would like to put sincere thanks to entire management team and staff for making my stay comfortable and memorable. For me hotel staff was the family with whom I use interact daily in Cafe G restaurant and Front desk.

That’s all because of the quality standards maintained by the team.
Lastly I want to thank the entire housekeeping team, for keeping my room always clean up to 5 star hotel standards. I misplaced two or three times my belongings, but housekeeping team made sure to find it for me.

Waking up in the morning and looking at horses trotting at racecourse is an amazing thing at the heart of the busy/choked city. Breakfast is sumptuous and chef is personally attentive for any customised demand. Probably used to the very nice staff. But man, every order takes ages. The sloped entry and exit gates, they should mend those for guests on vehicles being checked by security. Otherwise a decent experience here.

Awaiting 30 mins down the line when I made a call back got connected to Mr. Prakhar, who initially denied naming his position after speaking to him is when I understood what kind of staffs the hotel holds. To be very clear, his voice did not sound helpful not even by a percent. He just made me feel that why did I even chose this hotel. Even when he took checkout he never bothered to ask about our stay. When I was trying to confirm our mail id so that he could resend the copy, he went out making me shut my mouth. Let make come to the point. The hotel had charged us the correct amount but failed to update the same on the opera. Due to which we ended up paying extra amount and sadly the hotel has written a mail to credit the amout back, but has not happened still. For a grade one experience like this we nearly ended up paying an amount of 10k just for a day. I mean hardly 9 hours. The biggest concern out of everything was after we received a mail from the other end the team kept calling us at 11 in the evening to again get clarification. So then why was the mail even sent initially. And how do you even connect with a customer at 11 in the evening. Do you think its righteous?Thank you Mr. Prakhar for making our stay so useless and not worth staying.
On the other hand, thankful to some of the staffs like Siva and Ram from the Kitchen team. Everyone there were fabulous and did an amazing job. Kudos to that team.

Housekeeping department is doing a fabulous job from cleaning and co-operating in all the possible things. Being a guest for around one month I feel very homely with the environment including the food nad and the services given by the housekeeping department especially Tluangi and Omi.
