We had another great stay at the Renaissance and enjoyed 10 days in the sunshine and warm sea whilst the UK was grey and cold. We visited with a couple of friends and had two of the beach front suites which were very clean and spacious.
The service at the Renaissance was first class in all areas of the hotel, pool areas, bars and resaurants and it was apparent that staff have been well trained and were keen to please.
Its a few years since our last visit and all inclusive was not available back then. We tried it this visit and the experience was well above average with themed nights in the main restaurants meaning there was a wide range of different foods to suit all. You would have to be super fussy to not find something good to eat! Breakfast and lunch were also good. The drinks consisted of local wines beers, cocktails and spirits and all were fine with staff very attentive in ensuring glasses were refilled.
The Ladies in our party enjoyed the Spa and massages at about half the price you would pay in the UK. We tried the Gym, which has a full time trainer in attendance and plenty of modern and well maintained treadmills, crosstrainers and weight resistance machines available.
We loved sea swimming during the stay as the water is warm and the variety of fish you can see on the reef is amazing. It was good to see that the old floating pontoon access to the reef has been replaced by a permanent jetty making access to the water very easy.
We visited Naama Bay and Soho Square during the visit. Naama bay has really been smartened up in recent years and is a good place for shopping and eating now. We were less impressed with Soho Square which is a bit of a tourist trap and we wouldn't visit it again.
We used the local taxis via the In Drive app, which is a bit like Uber. This is significantly cheaper than booking a taxi at the desk in the hotel. For example the price quoted by the Taxi desk in Reception to take us to the Airport was $30 versus GBP5 (yes 5 pounds! including £1 tip) for the Taxi I booked through In Drive app.
In summary, we had a really good stay at the Renaissance and will definitelky be back!

We had a good rest, even though we got sick on vacation. We arrived at the hotel in the morning, they weren’t allowed for breakfast, but we went and got sandwiches. Checked in at 14. The room is spacious, balcony, good bed, soft pillows. The hotel itself is beautiful, of course, a lot of people pass through and something is not in mega new condition, but they take care of it.
The hotel has a convenient restaurant location, the choice is not very large, but you won’t go hungry. Delicious beef, chicken, mango not every day and a little fruit. Delicious teas and soups. We eat balognese almost every day, and in the morning we make an omelette with whatever toppings you want. Packaged drinks: mango juice, guava. The rooms were cleaned every day, shoes were neatly laid out, floors and fixtures were washed, and towels and bed linen were changed. The air conditioner broke down several times, they did it quickly, there were no questions about the service, but it’s better to go to the reception than to call and voice the problem. The drinks are delicious in the lobby bar, on the beach the bartenders are different and different, you can take any ice cream yourself, there was only chocolate, vanilla and chocolate-vanilla.
There was animation every day! We liked it, even though it was hot, and the animators lifted our spirits both in the morning and in the afternoon. Darts, relay races and water polo games during the day, volleyball, various dances and evening shows. Very interesting shows, new every day all week, the animators are very cheerful and active, they invite everyone to competitions, there is a separate animator for children.
The sea is beautiful, the pontoon is comfortable, and you can jump. Many guests from Jordan. There are enough fish, but previously there were more in the sea, unfortunately, the corals are slowly dying. Arab guests walk on the corals and are not reprimanded, since they are Arabs; others are not allowed to. The hotel monitors guests, if you leave by taxi, writes down the number for security. We got to the sea by golf cart, sometimes on foot. Overall everything is good! I express my gratitude to Charma Vita and the owner of the hotel and his staff, who work conscientiously.

The hotel is on the street leading to El Fanara Lighthouse, the street is quiet, there are few cars, but always taxi drivers are on duty. Nearest markets, pharmacies 10 minutes walk. The hotel has a cascade layout: with stairs and smooth serpentines , and there are golf carts for movement. The food is normal, not much choice, but of course no one went hungry. The animation didn't interest us, but also until 23-24 all the action took place - it's to whom a fundamentally quiet hotel. Room not small, big comfortable high bed, soft pillows, one big blanket. Central air conditioning with individual control (on 26 gr was quite comfortable). Upon check-in they gave a room with sea view as compensation for not being able to provide 2 separate beds, we were pleased. At the reception a very sympathetic and friendly employee Abdul - speaks Russian, provided full information on the concept all inclusive, by location in the hotel, then more than once he was approached with different questions - was always ready to help!!!! Cleaned every day, water 1.5 liters, towels changed. In general, all hotel staff were always available to help. Rest left a good impression!

Third time in Sharm, given the reviews and being a 5 star resort we expected much more. Compared to previous years we have noticed a greater request for tips, very explicit and also within the resort (as soon as we arrived they accompanied us to the room and put our bags down the boy physically remained there to look at us).. however it is recommended to at least leave it for those who clean the room, in fact it is almost always found tidied up and clean (almost because once you see if they have forgotten it). The rooms are modern, air conditioning noisy but doable, some things broken inside but the sea view makes a lot of sense. The beach is small but the sunbeds are well spaced from each other even if those in the front row were always occupied even at 6:30 in the morning... magic. Staff not always friendly, they speak very little Italian but they know Russian well, the Russians in fact were treated very well, served and revered, if you were in line with one of them you just didn't exist. Extremely repetitive cuisine, in the other resorts where I have been this is not the case and we often found ourselves queuing to access the restaurant room (too small for the capacity of the resort). There is a lot of entertainment especially on the beach, you can't rest assured that they will all arrive at the same time and always tell you the same things, with the exception of David, who is friendly, helpful and not at all intrusive. Avoid resort taxis, exaggerated prices given that the places to go outside are almost all very close, just go out from the barrier and it is full of taxis. Eden assistance non-existent. Highly recommended fish restaurant while "La Casa" is not, you eat at the restaurant it's the same thing except you are served. The only totally positive thing about this resort is the coral reef, beautiful and very colourful, the space is delimited by buoys but if you don't stay attached to the ladders you can move and swim in peace because the space is there and almost no one gets there in conclusion. The pier opens before and closes after that of the neighboring resorts. Swimming without a pier is almost impossible, the water is very shallow and you can't stand in it because of the corals (which aren't even there in that part). Overall, it doesn't deserve 5 stars at all and I don't recommend it for Italians.

We stayed in September me and my girlfriend for a week. We arrive at 7 pm in the room and the first thing we find are dirty towels (this has happened other times, even with the towels they give you for the sea). We ask the reception that they are called, after 2 hours we return to the room and they are still there and then we go for the second time to the reception (in less than 2 hours that we had arrived) to ask again for new towels. The room overall was very nice but confined to a secluded part of the Resort compared to the rest. The next day, after a full day out, we return around 5pm to the room and the room had not yet been redone by the staff. Then after this we go to reception again to ask for explanations and after a while, they come to clean the room. For the food, the breakfast very good (top desserts) instead lunch and dinner very average, almost forced to eat the same things (rice / chicken / pizzas). Even here, however, the desserts were really the top. Amenities like bar and beach nothing to say, bars always available to give water / cocktails. One night we found a cockroach in the room, and when the guys came to clean the room they sprayed something to send it away, but the fact remains that there was still this inconvenience. Reception however always available (Greeting Abdullah who was always available to our requests). We left with Eden and were always assisted and moved excursions when we were sick. Don't use taxis to get around (you only care about money) but use the InDrive application that you pay much less (They don't accept euro coins but only Euro card or Egyptian currency). Another note for room service, for 2 consecutive days they forgot to replenish us with water. Transfer to the Resort guaranteed by the shuttle that runs well and runs every 5 minutes. There are 2 restaurants in the property, Calamari which is very good and the Italian one, not recommended at all. Even on the penultimate day, they came to clean our room at 5pm after we were out all day and we were tired and wanted a minimum of rest in the room. 3 towels each (large, medium and small) would have been appreciated. In the bathrooms there is no brush (I know it seems a trivial thing, but they are useful and in Italy they are also present in the 2 stars). There is also a spa with a large heated tub and whirlpool (like a jacuzzi), a central cold tub and sauna. Massages and other treatments must be paid separately. This was our experience in the Resort, simply average for what it offers. The staff always present and friendly and always greet. My Rating is 3.5 but unfortunately I can put either 3 or 4 unfortunately. It is not a failure but surely you could have had much better (even to hear opinions of other Italians who have been to other Resorts and have had no problem).

We relax in the hotel from 24.08 to 31.08. Buy a burning Vacation Package and get disappointed. It's not a five-star hotel. That's probably a good four with three-star hotel food. Food is the biggest downside of this hotel. It's quite scarce, you couldn't always find anything meaty, and it wasn't always delicious. Yesterday's food will be on the tables the next day, rest assured. Wine is impossible to drink... the position that every day for dinner the cuisine of different countries is very relative. One dish and table decoration will remind you of that...
There was one crab soup and one seafood dinner. There was fried mackerel, impossible to smell and a mix of seafood and vegetables.
Anyway, from the table in person, I came out feeling a little hungry.
I also note that there are no slippers, bathrobes and dental supplies in the room, which again suggests that it is not five stars. Issued kind of on request at reception.
The evening animation is weak, one evening was the so-called Beach party, to which admission was paid ($20). At the same time, there was no free animation this evening, I had to sit in the room.
Cleaning the room every day, for a four.
Massage isn't worth your money, I don't recommend spending.
On the plus side: there are free sunbeds on the beach, there is a small reef with fish and watch the swimmers. The numbers aren't bad.

Our first holiday experience in Egypt.
We were on vacation with my husband, we stopped at the hotel at 10 am, we were told that check-in was at 3 pm, we were very tired after the plane and the road, we thought about going out to eat, but they didn’t let us go anywhere without bracelets. We had to sit at the reception, tired and hungry. As a result, closer to 12:00, we asked for a room and we were accommodated. The rooms are good, clean, bright. Everything you need is in the room (iron, kettle, safe, etc.)
The hotel area is huge, there are a lot of steps (we went in a golf cart, it was very comfortable)
The food is varied, of course, as in all hotels it quickly becomes boring, but everyone will find food to suit their taste. The sweets are incredibly delicious!
Of the accessories, there was everything necessary, BUT the shower gel/shampoo/conditioner was in large bottles, screwed to the wall, television with Russian channels, and there was no minibar at all.
The hotel's cleaning service is very poor; the bed was changed only once during the 9 days of our stay, and that was until we threw it on the floor. In general, we are not particularly picky, for us the most important thing is that the towels are changed every day, which they did properly, that was enough for us.
There is no imported alcohol in the hotel, only local!!! This was a huge minus for us.
Bars are open only until 12 at night, after which alcohol is paid.
The animation is simply top notch! The girls and Abdo rocked with all their hearts!!! We are absolutely delighted, they helped solve all our questions and never refused help! THANK YOU SO MUCH❤️
The entrance to the sea is only from the pontoon, but there is also a piece of the beach where you can go knee-deep into the sea (be careful, there are a lot of sea urchins in this place) The sea is incredibly beautiful! Clean, incredibly beautiful fish, corals and reef!
As a result, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel (my husband did not, only due to the lack of imported alcohol)
There are minor drawbacks, but there are no perfect hotels, so I’m happy with everything!

We had a family vacation at the hotel from 06/09 to 06/19/2024. I really liked the hotel, a beautiful white city on the hills, similar to Santorini with its white and blue colors and heat) The rooms are updated, spacious and stylish, the bed and towels are snow-white, regular cleaning. We took a room with a sea view Premium Seaview, the view is amazing! What has already been written about many times - be prepared to walk up the steps, it can be quite difficult for physically unprepared people, there were 110 steps from our room to the restaurant, and we lived in the middle part of the territory. Of course, you can wait for a golf cart, but there are not always places, it’s easier to walk.
What is very important and almost for the first time in a hotel is the very friendly staff, from the cleaners to the management, there was not a single unpleasant situation, everyone tried to help selflessly. The cuisine is tasty, but without frills, for a strong B+.
Variety in dishes, a good selection of fruits, freshly squeezed juice in the mornings, a special themed dish in the evenings, fried sea fish almost every day. During the day, after lunch, three types of ice cream were available at the beach bar. I liked both a la carte (you can visit them once for free, but the Italian one is cooler. What else I liked - there were absolutely no problems with drinking water, it was provided upon request, sometimes they brought it themselves. The beach is spacious, on the left there is a quiet area for those who want to relax in quiet, near the pier and closer to the bar - come early to take a seat, but the 2nd and 3rd tier are always free, and even further to the right there is a place where you can generally relax alone. In general, the beach is huge, but there are only two exits to the sea. a pier and a small creek for children, because of this there is often a crowd on the pier, especially in the evening. The sea is amazingly beautiful, with a rich underwater world!
I would like to express special gratitude to local animation. Friendly young people from different countries, nice and sociable, but not intrusive. They entertained us and invited us to take part in various competitions. A special gift for us was that the child visited the children's club for the first time in all the years - a good bonus for parents) Small gifts for a mini-disco, certificates, communication, he remembers with pleasure. Maria, greetings to you from Arseny)
In general, there was not a single minus that would overshadow the rest. I don’t know if we’ll come back again, since I want to see new places, but for those who have never been to the Renaissance, I can confidently recommend this hotel!

We vacationed with our family in August 23. I liked absolutely everything about the hotel.
Nice large room with a veranda, no extra charges, no problems with hot water, air conditioning is individually regulated. The accessories in the bathroom are of very high quality, in sufficient quantity, including body lotion. The king size bed is really very big. Please note that you will have to pay for an additional place, despite the fact that there are three people in the voucher. The three of us fit perfectly on the bed, but if the child is an adult, be prepared to pay extra. There were no questions about food, just enough, seafood 1-2 times a week, mango every other day, pizza for lunch, fries, pastries, different themed dinners every day. There were no queues. I think the food is not intended for very young children. Ours is 8 and everything was more than satisfactory.
By sea. An excellent, strong pontoon, an attentive lifeguard, clearly doing his job (there was a small emergency situation, thanks to the lifeguard, everyone remained alive and well (not a shark, if that)). Please note that on the circle that is on the water to the left of the stairs, some kind of algae grows, and if it comes into close contact with the skin, it causes a burn; it takes a few hours, and it goes away (for some reason, on this particular circle). People who are afraid of depth and living creatures should not go to the hotel (there is a lot of it here, you can perfectly observe the diverse underwater world just by lowering your head). There are more than enough places on the beach, several tiers. There is a diving center on site. Also, on the beach there is a small piece of sand, where you can lie on the shallows (if you look closely at the stones, there are crabs and some fish with legs running around there)).. Bar on the beach, ice cream from 12 to 17, drinks in cans and bottles, juices from boxes. Medical assistance, if needed, is provided quickly on the beach.
The animation team is young, cheerful, and almost everyone speaks excellent Russian. The girls at Kids Club are smart! (Olya, Chris - salute!, Mahmud - Ferrari - very interesting to chat, Katya - sport!).
In general, there are no questions regarding cleanliness, incl. cutlery, cleaning, this is important! The staff is very friendly, everything is sincere, even unusual. The territory is cascading, beautiful, green, not a single mosquito was seen. If you want a wild party, this is not the place for you).
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and hope to see you again!

An excellent hotel for families with children, because the sandy beach is wide and safe for bare feet of children and adults. Clean rooms and pools, friendly staff everywhere, including the restaurant and kids club. Large green area, varied food. Perhaps too spicy for lovers of simple food. And so you can find something for every taste, it changes from day to day.
Regular cleaning of the rooms with towel swans, if this is important;) the bartenders speak five languages, nice! Kids club is open from 10 to 17, there is air conditioning inside and good-natured employees, with whom children as young as two years old can calmly stay (from what I saw).
Ice cream from 12 to 17, alcohol from 10. For mangoes you need to go to the surrounding stores, to a bargain one - 20 minutes one way.
Our family liked everything. And the diving next door is good, and the massage at the spa.
Be prepared for a lot of stairs; if you are pregnant or elderly, it can be difficult to walk up/down all the time in the heat.
We were lucky with the view from the window - the room was located in the middle between the restaurant (above) and the sea (below).
The pier is not long, it is convenient to go down.
I thank the hotel staff and all the staff involved. Thank you from the earth to the moon and back💜
