I read the reviews and dismissed the poor ones, I should have listened. The hotel is tatty and grubby. The food is awful, we had to eat out most evenings. The staff are friendly as long as you are tipping them. Caters more for Eastern European guests. Expect queue jumping at meal times.

The hotel seems very old and it feels like it wasn't renovated in a while. We found hair in the pillows when we entered the room, it smelled like someone died in there - thankfully the room was changed and the other one was A BIT better (it was ventilated). In both of the rooms the beds were sunken. If it wasn't for the food, I would rate it 1 star.

Well what can I say ….. dirty, out dated , not clean , communal areas filthy and badly maintained … the drinks are disgusting unless your Russian and then you’re fine , tha animation team don’t talk to you if you are English ….. the reception staff are rude and arrogant …. You get constant hassle of sales even though I contacted a manager to get this stopped …. The food is awful. No variety often cold and often not enough to serve how many people are there. Not enough tables and people waiting to be seated ….. animation awful. They get you to pay extra for extra shows which last less than an hour and aren’t great .. one of the animation team thought it was ok to neck 8 shots in the space of an hours show with a Russian family trying not to be seen but it was obvious by the end of the show he had been drinking …. The showers are disgusting and dirty …. The cleaners constantly hassle for tips …. The dogs in the hotel were kept in a cage except for one who is walked they were matted beyond belief ….. cases left on check out in a room which was outside reception with often no one watching it … a security risk I would say … all in all avoid. We were asked to leave a review by reception when we checked out and I said probably not the best idea but he kept on and on so I did and it was similar to this review so will see if I hear anything back …. Also WiFi is non existent…… definitely will not be going back !!!!!!!

Two hotels in one.both look nice from outside but room appalling. The area for slides were dated.everything was looking old and shabby.its amazing what photo shots can do to make somewhere look good.pool was nice.but freezing. .sea full of stones.so wear shoes.not enough room for sunbeds around beach as two hotels in one .rude staff ..no good for children entertainment rubbish. And also rubbish entertainment at night for adults...we had few nights that lasted about 1 hour of good entertainment. Then that was it.ripped off for drinks .never no change.list goes on.

I was here for 10 days and I really love the people here! Everything is super cool. The food and the service was really good. The rooms are super clean! New towel creations every day! It really depends on the people who work here! I hope to be back soon!

I always see reviews and think people only write to complain - so positives first! The beach is beautiful, the bar and waiting staff are lovely, Yulia in entertainment team was a star! Theres a great shopping mall about 10 mins walk that has a big carrefour which is cheap and has a good food selection. Also some great cafes in there too and a huge kids floor of activities. After 3 days of no sleep - they did move out room as well without any issues. The rest….just shockingly crap! I’ve done Egypt a few times and this trip has genuinely put me off going back again! 1. Food - lunches were ok but kept having to fight off the cat and blackbirds that steal your food. The breakfasts I thought were great until a couple days in I noticed little birds were landing on the pastries to tuck in. Raised my concerns to management who just brushed it off. Asked for them to be covered for further days and nothing changed - I stopped eating anything that wasn’t cooked infront of me!! Selection each day is the same and quite bland. We ended up out shopping every day for food! Drinks are only served in tiddly kids cups so had to go out to by bigger cups! Take a jacket for the restaurants as they are chilly - the wind blows through the doors and it can be bitter. At points through the week it got really busy and there’s only 1 place to eat at lunchtime which had big queues for food - great when your child is being attacked by the previously mentioned birds. Even more fun when people just shove infront of you in the queue! 2. Very tired - the place was noted to be being renovated recently but other than reception the place was really run down. So many sun beds were broken, beach towels are thread bare, the kids play area was disgusting with chipped paint/rusty springs and metalwork/bird poo everywhere. Ruined a set of my kids trousers going on the play kit! The toilets in the aqua park were awful and broken - toilet seat hanging off, doors that wouldn’t shut etc. 3. Hassle - be prepared to be hassled on the beach! I’d gone for a resort thinking I’d avoid the hassle. Multiple times each day we were asked for massages, safari rides, dolphin boats, camel rides, beauty parlour etc. The camel guy took my little lad for a ride and told me multiple times no charge. I stated I had no cash and he again said free. After he demanded to know how I was paying the 500EGP for the ride and proceeded to shout at me and stood over me on the beach demanding payment. There’s some lovely juices and fruit on offer but not included in the all inclusive - was very little you could get between meals which was disappointing with a small child. 4. Kids - kids pool is in the coldest darkest corner of the hotel with a slide that needs to be condemned! I refused to let my little one go in! The play park was just unsafe. The kids mini disco was all in Russian and German - fortunately he wasn’t too fussed but a shame all languages aren’t catered to. It was also so late! Starting at 8.30 with the shows not starting til 9.30 just made life hard work for little ones. The kids club was only open a few days but I have to say Julia was brilliant when she was in! 5. The aqua park - unfortunately it was freezing going between slides and after a couple of days I think the water level dropped as we just kept getting stuck on the spiral slides. The water also looked grim after a few days - so not sure how they keep that pool clean. Theres nowhere up there to get a drink so we had to get bottles of drink to take there with us. The main big pool was so cold we got as far as feet in and that was it! 6. Smoking - oh my god it’s horrendous! You literally can’t get away from it!! The beach staff were great and helped us to block a small section on the beach away from it as me and my son have severe asthma but people still stood over us smoking. The restaurant often smelt of fags and the disco room the wind just blows clouds of smoke in from the doorway and so every night I was having to pump my little one full of salbutamol just so he could participate in the mini disco! 7. The hotel is very geared to the Russian/Eastern European market - there’s so much I could say here but won’t! Food/language/music etc all to their tastes, very few English people in the hotel (the ones we met were lovely though!) a lot of rude attitudes from people etc.
